Lowes has soooo much stuff in here! I usually stop in here if I can't find something @ a well known department store or if I don't feel like going to that department store. I've gotten many propane tank refills here for my gas grill. You must leave your empty tank outside, pull up in front of the full ones & set it outside. You then can go into the Exit only doors (closes to the registers) & just let a cashier know that you need a propane refill. They will call for a manager to meet you outside to do the exchange. Most times it can be quick if they're not busy. I do find the prices for well known products here expensive....that's the bad part about shopping here, but sometimes you pay for convenience. LOL I just stopped in here last night to buy a new number lock for my backyard gate because I don't remember how to change the lock combo on the one I have & don't know where the instructions are. I picked up one for about $14, definitely more money than I wanted to spend. The parking lot can be busy so be careful when driving around here due to there being a lot of other stores in this plaza.

Came in to get some cleaning supplies for our backyard. We've been to this Lowe's a handful of times but this by far was the best experience I've ever had. Alexander helped us find what we needed to clean our pavers. Another woman helped us as well and every time we passed by an employee they would ask us if we needed help! It was soooo nice! But Alexander really is the star. We needed turf cleaner and paver cleaner and he helped guide us, even went as far to go get us the scrub head we needed while we waited in the aisle. Seriously will be back and will always come here if we need anything for the house. We will definitely be back!

Today I went to Lowe's to get few garden sprinkles related stuff. Not very familiar on what exactly I needed. I saw few employees who saw me but continued walking. It was obviously they knew I wanted to ask a question. I then saw a nice lady explaining a guy what was better for him to use. I approached her and told her what I needed. She didn't just walk me to the exactly spot where I was going to find what I needed, but also explained the difference between the ones they carry . Sorry Ms lady for not recalling your name, you helped me this morning around 9am with the rain bird sprinklers and nozzles. Thank you for your kindness and your time. Thank you also to the cashier, Ms Diana, very nice as well. I honestly saw more unhelpful staff than the happy ones. It's ok.. it only takes one good one to make your day!

Getting a key made has become easier and faster than ever. Only (1) minute and keys are in your hand. This kiosk is convenient and designed with an open concept allowing customers to view the entire key cutting process. The machine does have a security guarantee that keys are "Not" recorded or "stored" and are guaranteed to fit. This is definitely a place you might want to consider if you're in need of a key fast.

Pai in the garden section was, always is, so helpful. Why Lowes isn't using her in commercials is mystifying. I was looking for a specific brick and she came through like the customer service champion she is. How nice it is to be helped by a someone so cheerful and positive. Pai always is. I hope Lowes corporate headquarters knows it.

2 for 30 deal she claimed was fake!

The manufacturer wanted $7 for the pair plus $11 for shipping. Amazon had packs of 50 or 100 for $6-$13 with shipping included, but the earliest delivery was Monday. As a last-ditch effort, I checked the local big-box stores, but nothing looked promising. Then I remembered McFadden-Dale and decided to make the trip before they closed. They didn't have the exact 6-32 x 7/16", but they did have 6-32 x 1/2". The staff was incredibly helpful and took the time to check the thread pitch to make sure they'd work. Best of all, four screws cost me just $0.56 instead of nearly $20--and I didn't end up with another 40 or 90 extras I'd now have to find uses for. Their credit card system was down, so it was cash only. They also close at 2 PM on Saturdays and are closed on Sundays.

Often times I'll go to the general home improvement stores and only find the most popular items - which is understandable. Or, if they have some unique items, they'll only stock a couple pieces and not enough for what I'm needing. Often, I'm looking for unique sizes of different nuts and bolts. On top of it - I'm also looking for stainless steel and specific compositions with different heads. This store is so vast! There's so many aisles and if you haven't been here before, it can be overwhelming. However, everyone who works here is SO NICE. I cannot say enough about their knowledge and willingness to help - even walk you to find exactly what you're looking for. This place is really a one-stop shop for me on so many days!

This is a REAL HARDWARE STORE. I was pleasantly surprised at all they had and the cleanliness of the store. The employees were nice and helpful. This is the kind of place I remember going to with my Dad back in the Carolinas when I was growing up. They have lots of bbq supplies , sauces , rubs , and of course bbqs like Traeger and Big Green Egg. They occasionally have cookouts for special occasions like 4th of July and such and of course I've missed everyone. They have a small Traeger that I may end up going back to buy. Also lots of tools and gardening equipment to include shovels and tree trimmers. Lots of bird feeders , it's just nice to see the selection they have here. I would definitely recommend you checking this place out.

This was my first time attending the National Hardware Show at the Las Vegas Convention Center…read more The show is divided into two major sections--lawn, home, and garden--and regular hardware items such as tool boxes, welding helmets, plumbing supplies and everything else you could ever lump into the "hardware" category. I spent more time in the home and garden section even though most of the items don't have a use in Las Vegas for many of us. Since we've traded grass for xeriscape, many of us have no need for lawn mowers, weed whackers, et. al. The lawn and garden section was in the North Hall of the convention center. I met some very nice and interesting people. It's a much more laid back show than the geeks of CES. I eventually made my way to the Central Hall for the regular hardware items. One of the standouts in this area was the large electrical displays. If I were giving Benjamin Braddock advice this year, I'd tell him, "LEDs". There were so many vendors with lights of various kinds that used LEDs to generate bright lights. After the Central Hall, I went outside to the outdoor, recreation, and tailgate area. They had a number of food vendors here tied in with some kind of cooking item. There were several vendors selling outdoor pizza bakers that rotated the pizzas as they cooked. They also had samples. I was surprised at how much food and food related vendors that were at the show. I expected a lot of wrenches, toilets, and other hardware items. Imagine my surprise when I'm given samples of beef jerky (teriyaki flavor) on entering the show to get my credentials. I'll attend next year. It's too good a show to miss and it's at a great time of the year!

This particular location on Tropicana at Durango is so much larger than meets the eye. I loved the personal service here, the organized rows, and the well-curated selection of merchandise.
