I forgot to bring my ID, but I have a picture of my ID on my phone; he said I would need to have the physical ID to pick up the order. At this point, I asked him to cancel the order. And within 5 minutes, the order was canceled. So, they will believe who you say you are if you're trying to cancel an order. read more

I've been unsatisfied with the overall service of this store and this review is long overdue, but finally motivated by the last straw of today's unsatisfactory experience. I have been shopping here for the last 5 years, spending a lot of money for supplies for my business. Whenever I checkout on the contractor side (near lumber) I get HOUNDED by questions of credit cards and Lowe's accounts, etc. I'm always polite when I turn any of these offers down but some of these cashiers do not quit. I can make multiple trips to Lowe's in a single day (whoops) and the same cashier will ask me 2,3,4 times about signing up for something. The last time I said "excuse me ma'am but whatever it is, I just don't need it". The lady gives me a dirty look and says "you know, I'm just doing my job". I mean why?? I almost laughed at how ridiculous the interaction was. I now check out at self checkout to avoid the awkward conversation. Secondly, the customer service department has gotten very rude at this location. Anytime you need to return something they treat you like a criminal, no exaggeration. Today I had to return a backflow valve that was leaking. I just bought it yesterday and this morning it was leaking. If that's not a cause for a return, I don't know what is... so I explain this to the cashier. Her first response is "is this the same item (that's pictured on the box)?" I said yes and pointed to the HD image of the item on the box. Then she says "why don't you return it at the location you bought it"? I said that's never been an issue in the past and I happen to be in this area. Then she tells me to remove a pvc coupling that was wrench tight inside of the valve. I didn't see the need to remove it since it a defective unit and can't be resold. So now I'm walking back to my truck to look for a wrench. After I removed the coupling I come back in the store and now I'm back in line. Lovely.... Now I'm explaining the situation to a different cashier. Wow. She says almost all the same responses as the first charming cashier. Then says I need someone from "plumbing to verify it's the right item", even though there's a to scale image of the item right on the box. She finally refunds me for the item and 20 painful minutes later I finally have my refund. I get that people can abuse the refund policy but treating people like criminals is not the way to go about it. "Is this the right item?" No I go around town returning things in different boxes to see who's paying attention. Haha what thee hell This seems to be a trend at this location. This happens again and I'll have no problem avoiding this location, especially since Home Depot is right down the street. read more

Bob is an absolute godsend. He went above and beyond out of his way to help me with a Halloween decoration project I'm working on and I can't express how thankful I am for his help. He helped me find a better solution for my project and made sure I knew exactly where everything on my list was, instead of rushing off the second he'd answered one of my questions like so many other people out there would have. He probably saved me 30-40 minutes on my trip. This review would be 5 stars if it wasn't for the travesty that cashing out is every time I come. I ordered $393 of rock, bricks sand etc, paid $78 for delivery, this was all on Nov 27th. Got an email stating Dec 8th would be the delivery. Dec 8th rolled around, I got up early to ensure I didn't miss the doorbell as I had not been given any delivery time window. Delivery did not show up all day. I got zero phone call, email or text from Lowes. A few days later a random email said delivery had been updated to Dec 23rd. I also on the day of the 23rd got a voicemail s5ating my order was out for delivery with window of arrival. 11am to 11pm. I found this quite shocking that they would tell me a 12 hour window of arrival, I waited about 5 hours then decided I had too much holiday stuff that could no longer wait, so I left and kept my ringer on high with neighbor who was willing to accept the delivery. Again all day zero delivery. At 9pm. I called Lowes and they denied it being on the schedule, so I then got really upset and said so all the emails and the the one voicemail confirming today we're all fake? They treated me like I had no emails or voicemail which just infuriated me that much more. Now after all my day wasted today they said I should call the manager tomorrow morning...which after 2 fake delivery days they now want me to waste my Christmas eve dealing with them again. I can tell you I now can't stand Lowes and will never spend my money there ever again. 1 month later and I still don't have my order that they charged me for a month ago. Their $78 delivery fee was a completely rip off and they are the worst service imaginable. They still have not called me a single time with any apology or explanation of all these rescheduled, they don't even ask me what new date would work for me. Completely unacceptable. Awful customer service in store and online! I will not continue to shop here. At the paint desk's recommendation I chose valspar's perfect white for a bathroom project. Now I'm finished with the project and have no more paint but have to do minimal touch ups. The paint desk told me I either need to purchase a gallon, since they don't sell it in a quart and don't have the formula to mix it in another paint type, or choose a different white for the touch ups. Why in the world would I want to purchase a gallon of paint when a quart will do, and even that is too much? They were also out of sample cans to do a sample of a valspar color!! read more

I can't imagine where people are shopping where they're having a better experience. I do home improvement / contracting work every single day, no days off, and am picking up stuff at Lowe's almost every day. I stopped going to Home Depot if I can possibly help it because the past 50 times there hasn't been an employee to be found anywhere, or they're out of what I need. Home Depot is a time sink plus I've literally never once talked to an actually knowledgeable employee there, while in contrast yesterday I had a conversation with a Lowe's employee that was a retired contractor that gave me some helpful tips for my job that day, and saved me some money (sorry Lowe's corporate, lost you some profit margin, not going to disclose his name!). I return materials that don't get used to Lowe's several times a week as well and it's never taken longer than 5 minutes, I've also returned items I've used but just didn't like the results. I've returned at least 100 items to Lowe's and have never once experienced anything other than an easy return ... reading the top review that claims otherwise seems suspicious tbh. Today I brought in a piece of drywall for paint matching and was in and out with a perfect match in 10 minutes. That wouldn't happen even in my wildest dream at a Home Depot. So where exactly is it that's superior? My husband and I moved here just 4 months ago and we're just finishing up a complete remodel. We still use Mapquest to direct us most everywhere but I know how to get to Lowe's on St. Rose & S. Jul 1 2023, at noon, I went in to buy a dishwasher. $1000 budget. Waited patiently for about 20-30 minutes to get helped as my wife had some questions. The lady that finally waited on in seemed annoyed that we were asking questions and I guess it's because she had no idea about the product. She kept cutting us off in our question trying to give us answers that fit her mindset and not our questions. I asked about the warranty - she interrupted and said, "Look... if you don't like it - that's just the way it is." It was at that point I said we are out of here. Went down the street to Costco - got great service and walked out with a brand new $900 LG dishwasher. Typical Lowe's. They have a bunch of low wage people that work there that seem to hate their job. A few weeks prior - I was at the nuts and bolts aisle and the guy working that area told me I need to use the app to find what I want. I told him I did but the item is not where it's supposed to be. He got frustrated that I asked for help and told me that they never have the right stuff there and I should shop at Ace Hardware when I need difficult items like a 3/8" nut. Started going to Ace and was shocked at how good the service and selection was. They are taking humans out of the equation - go to self check out and use the app. Don't mind convenience but there shitty service has turned me on to other place to shop read more

APPLIANCES: Systemic issue with delivery, so beware! This was not an individual's mistake that I can tell, but appears systemic - you can expect to possibly experience the same! I purchased a washer and dryer, and a refrigerator. $4,800 with tax and extended warranty on W&D. W&D in stock, Refrigerator on back order w August as expected delivery date. I was fine with that. W&D delivery scheduled for a Tuesday. Salesman called Monday evening and said Warehouse had a refrigerator in on Friday. I was traveling Friday so delivery set for the FOLLOWING TUESDAY. Great. Then... That change somehow changed the delivery date for my W&D which wasn't told to me until the Tuesday I was home waiting. HONEST MISTAKE, and rep called me himself to apologize. Got the W&D the next day, no further issues. Now the refrigerator! I got a notification Sunday evening for a Monday delivery. I had come home for the delivery instead of seeing my daughter in Colorado, so I was ok with that. Except it never came... I got a text saying delivery was ____ min away (no time specified). An hour later I waded through the delivery service's web pages, and saw I was #15 and the driver was at #20. Spent 20 min waiting on Delivery service on the phone. All they knew was, the store had cancelled. Getting ahold of someone at the store was a nightmare! Customer Seevice woman was nice and tried to connect me to Appliances. No answer, then disconnect. 2nd call same except she picked back up. She spoke with a manager who agreed to speak to me, then didn't pick up when transferred and back to Customer Service! Finally got ahold of manager, and long story short, he said the refrigerator was not in the warehouse, and the sales rep was off the next 2 days (hourly employee, so they wouldn't call him at home). So I skipped 3 days with my daughter, spent a day waiting around my house (no TV yet), because of this Lowe's issue. Manager wasn't very sympathetic, even without knowing what had caused the issue on their end. A friend in CS at lowe's in NC said this is not uncommon, and would have told me to BUY ELSEWHERE FOR APPLIANCES. LOWES HENDERSON #1719 is the absolute worst experience !!! THE APPLIANCE STAFF/managers ARE Unethical, uncaring, nor helpful. They are also not knowledgeable or take responsibility for their errors. They are Deceitful, and disingenuous. The delivery company is hit or miss. I received cracked vegetable bins. The store manager Leo has done nothing. They damaged my front door trying to remove the door. For no reason should the door have attempted to be removed... I think he just wanted to be in the air conditioned space...BUT THE DISHWASHER DELIVERY AND INSTALLERS WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL, Courteous AND KNOWLEDGEABLE! When Frank the fridge deliverer realized he couldn't get door from hinges he eventually realized everything would fit without removing the door. I went to Lowe's May 27th. It took 4 1/2 hours just to purchase a stove, fridge and dishwasher. ( they couldn't find where product was located , if stocked or in store... they didn't know codes to put in system... That should have been the 1st sign of trouble for me.... Because that's where the nightmare began! The delivery guy frank deliberately put old appliances where garage door wouldn't close. It's an entire month later and I still don't have a stove. That's a whole other set of nightmares. The management team is unprofessional. (Ryan, Leo, Justin, ) That explains why the some of the staff don't care. Oh and because Justin knew he was doing wrong underhanded shady deals ... So I'm on here after having a terrible experience over at Lowe's. I was going plant shopping and picked out two little cactus looking things. I also bought one cute pot and placed on of my new plants in it. Oh ya and I bought a shelf. So I put everything on the counter to be rung up. I did the small stuff first. I pulled the potted plant out of the pot so the cashier could ring it up and then had her scan the pot itself(because ya know they were two separate purchases). She asked if I wanted a bag and I told her no because I like being slightly eco-friendly. I took the already scanned items back in my cart and then help the cashier maneuver the shelf so she could find the bar code and scan it. Then all of a sudden an older looking employee lady bum rushed my cart and took the plants out that I just placed in there. She didn't acknowledge me at all but rather held it over the cashier and asked if I had paid for these. . Super embarrassing for me but ya know I'm just standing at the counter with my purse talking with the cashier so ya it would appear that I might be about to "pay for these". Anyways the cashier told her yes and the employee just left my items back on the counter and walked away without acknowledging my presence once again. So effing rude. Came to pick up and item and parked in Curbside as instructed. My issue is more so the absence of customer service or an awareness of not being able to fulfill a time given. Went inside only to find out that after sitting in the car for 20mins, in line for 10 mins, we've found it that they haven't even pulled my item from the back. My two cents isn't so much about the false advertising in Curbside wait time. The issue is about being proactive during a time where people are really considering where to spend their money. Now, with the process crossing the 45min mark, It's an easy choice to go with Lowe's main competitor. I'm noticing a trend in the discrepancy of customer service. When people think of construction, it's mostly a male dominated occupation, so when I come into Lowe's I always feel intimidated therefore I always ask for help where things are located. I feel that every time I've came to this location, the workers from the sales floor to the register employee are all so nice and willing to help. I'm not sure why I even try anymore. I minus well go to Home Depot where they are friendly & helpful. The past couple times I came here todo a return the employees get super rude when making returns. They are like oh this came from a different store I can't return this or this was used I can't return this. My last return I did a month ago I bought a electric drill and it didn't have the battery but it did have the charger. So I needed to return it since I went to Home Depot and bought one for haft the price. The lady that day was the worse, not only did she refuse service she told me I should had checked the box before leaving the store. Ok how you want me to check a drill before leaving? I shouldn't have to check since the box was sealed. So after going back & forward I decided to leave and go to the marks st location where they were happy to return the drill. Jump to July 17, 2022 @ 5pm where I came here looking to get a couple parts to repair my toilet in my apartment since the maintenance guys obviously don't know how to stop it from running. So I walked in and spoke with a cashier who then said Oh those will be in tools. Which I knew was in fact wrong, so I asked another employee in tools who then Informed me he doesn't know but walked me to the isle. After looking at all the parts for toilets an employee finally walked up to me and asked if I needed any assistance I told him about how my handle would stay in the down position. He said oh not sure maybe u need a new toilet. Have you called a plumber? I said no I will try to replace the Handle again as well as the fill valve & Flapper. The employee then showed everything I needed and said this should fix your issue. After the employee walked away I added everything up which was almost $40 then I saw the fill valve/Flapper pack together for $15 and a universal Handle for $7 almost haft the cost vs buying everything separately. After checking out I needed to get a key made so I used the minute key machine and of course I needed change so I asked the cashier and she said no. Finally I walked out..... I'm not sure what's up with this Lowe's almost as if employees don't care. The dude that somewhat helped me in plumbing was okay but at the same time wants to make sure customers are spending more then getting a kit that has everything included or just flat out make you buy a toilet. Overall after my last visit on July 17 I will not return to this Lowe's... I rather give my business to Home Depot down the street read more

I come in the store looking lost as ever however Chris Van Duyne greated me and took me over to the drills, showed me how to use it and went over and beyond, took to me the register and set up my drill with an attachment so when I got home I was ready to go. Sam was there as well, and remembered assisted me on a previous transaction. They do not treat me like a customer, they feel like family to me. I love Lowes!!!! read more

Items not ordered on time, no follow-up, late start, no dustless equipment after being told they used same, held my project hostage until I agreed to pay more money for floor grinding after site supervisor said my floors were great, late finish and shorted me $250 on the rebate. Final straw was zero response from the Store Manager Leo Penny after I hand delivered a letter to him outlining where they had failed on the project. This Lowes is the worst. I had a carpet installed two years ago and it was measured incorrectly so the install was a nightmare as you can imagine. They left one little closet without any carpet which I had to have re-measured and installed for a hefty price. I figured I'd make the best of it and keep the remnant for any replacement issues I'd need. I go into the garage the day after the closet was installed only to find that the remnant wasn't there. I called Lowes and they said they couldn't help me, but to call the installer. This was over Christmas week so the installer said the manager was gone until after New Years and I'd have to wait. By the time someone got back to me, they said they had thrown my remnant away and they could give me something similar, but not the color I had paid for. I said that wasn't acceptable, and they then refused to return or answer any of my other phone calls. So....I paid for an entire roll of carpet, but didn't get to use any of it. Lowes just said it was my fault and there was nothing they'd do to help. Fast forward two years, I'm finally ready to order more carpet for the project the remnant was supposed to be used for. I go into the store to schedule the measurement and it took 10 minutes for the two people to get around to me because one of the guys was telling a story to the girl trying to help me, and wouldn't stop talking even when he saw me standing there. I don't have a ton of patience for lack of customer service. Of course, Lowes manages to screw up the initial order: they put in the wrong color carpet even though they read me back my order, I recieved no email confirmation to verify the quote, they called to say the quote was ready, but then had no record of the quote when I called, and put in the removal of a "floating floor" when it was just peel and stick vinyl with wood underneath (very clear to see....so they're just charging more hoping I won't catch it), that I clearly said I would remove myself so don't put that cost in the quote. They wonder why I have a severe lack of patience with them when I call....putting carpet in the house has been a nightmare and I'm ready to be done with Lowes. If Home Depot had this carpet, they'd have my business, but that's ok....they have it for everything else. The flooring department of Lowes doesn't listen or care. Go anywhere else for this service. I thought maybe it had just been a fluke a few years ago....but the same kind of mistakes and lack of care is being done just to install a small area of carpet in the master closet. read more

With the exception of the friendly cashier, most of the staff seemed to be in pain when they were asked questions. While providing the correct information they all appeared ready to run away as soon as possible. Perhaps they have too much assigned work. Overall, a decent experience and I got everything I needed and a couple of things I didn't. read more

This all started months ago. I decided.it was time to sell my home and wanted to redo the bathrooms and a few other things. why this review is about the store it's more about the individual who I have dealt With at the store and it is a positive one at that. THE REMODEL HAS BEEN A NIGHTMARE! The homeowners that had the home previous to me obviously was not very bright and did not do maintain the home properly. This is my first home and I did alot of DIY. I went to Lowe's I can't even tell you how many times! I had been to a few different stores and ask multiple associates different questions about different ways to do bathroom flooring and plumbing and got different answers all around. unfortunately it was kind of a little bit of a nightmare between having to look things up online and finding out the hard way with some things. There was one person at this Lowe's that literally helped me with every single thing. I didn't even bother asking other people at the store because I always got mismatched answers. The gentleman's name is AL, from the lumber department. I really hope that the corporate office Caesars review and give this gentleman the biggest raise he's ever gotten. he's one of the hardest-working individuals I've ever seen in the store he's always sweeping and cleaning. He goes out of his way to help you and how is just a absolute awesome personality. as far as the store goes it is always clean and the staff there are always courteous. I always see somebody wiping down registers are counters especially nowadays where we have some issues with the virus floating around. everything is fairly priced and super easy to find. WARNING DO NOT USE THEIR DSI DELIVERY SERVICE I Always shop at Lowes over Home Depot. I like their products and the people are usually easier to find and get help. I just purchased the $1100 52" Craftsman tool chest combo from them. I've had 5 back surgeries so of course I opted for the $80 delivery. DSI, Lowes delivery service was on time and WORTHLESS!! They pull up, drop the 2 52" tool chests in my garage and VANISH!! No unboxing, No lifting the Top 52" chest and setting it on top of the bottom chest. Just Exactly What did I pay $80 for???? I could have rented a trailer for $25 and did it myself!! NEVER AGAIN read more
