We started coming here based off of a friends recommendation and I am so glad we did! My son loves practicing karate here and it is a fun, safe, learning environment. The kids start as a white belt and work their way up. We are about six months in, and so far my son loves it. He enjoys coming every week and is so excited to start practicing his moves once he gets home. Master Lowe was a substitute teacher previously, so he knows how to work with all behaviors of children. We have been with Master Lowe for roughly 2 years now. I started with my younger daughter once things started opening up after COVID lock down to give her some structure outside of the house. It helped her get out some energy and gained some addition discipline. After about 3 months, my older daughter showed interest, but was apprehensive because she didn't want to spar. We signed her up and let Master Lowe know where she was. He we very in tune with how much to push the kids and when they needed a little break. He is a stern teacher, but you can tell he genuinely cares about each child individually. They have developed friendships and confidence by attending LMAA and I would have to say as a parent there is a lot of satisfaction in watching not only your child, but the others that you have gotten to know grow in leaps and bounds. Lowe's Karate class is the best karate class that I have found. Master Lowe is great with the kids and he actually cares and teaches them how to defend themselves not just a song and dance. What I love the most is that my son is actually learning not to be afraid and take a hit or two but also learn to use his hands and feet to defend himself. Our family started taking classes at Lowe's Martial Arts Academy in March 2017. My husband and son started first and enjoyed the classes, soon my daughters were interested and we enrolled them too.
