After…read morespending an exorbitant amount of time on the phone with customer service, and being reassured by two different agents that my claim was fully covered, and the auto body shop having my husband's car for nearly a week waiting to begin the work, Geico at the very last second informed me that my claim wouldn't be covered. We've wasted so much time with the car sitting at the shop and so much time going back and forth with them on the phone, and they've been nothing short of a nightmare. I'm not sure what kind of business can get away with telling a customer TWICE that something is covered and then just randomly backing out at the last second but it's certainly not one that I'll continue giving my money to. Now I have the pleasure of spending the day searching for new auto insurance because this isn't a matter of policy, it's a matter of failing to deliver on a promise that was made by TWO different employees and a "manager" stepping in and reneging at the last second. This company is unreliable and dishonest, AT BEST.

    This is the third time I've had to call to get an update on my canceled renters insurance refund…read more During this call, I spoke with Elle, who told me the refund had been processed back to the original card used--which I knew was incorrect. After being placed on hold for nearly 20 minutes, it was finally discovered that GEICO's sister company, Homesite, had actually issued a refund check but mailed it to the wrong address. What's especially frustrating is that during my very first call with Geico, I successfully updated my address for my car insurance--proving the correct address was on file. Despite this, I've now been waiting over a month for a simple refund. GEICO stated there was nothing they could do to expedite the issue and that I would need to wait an additional 15 days. I was then transferred to Allen, a manager, who implied the issue was my fault for not providing an updated address--despite the fact that I had just updated my address on my auto policy. For anyone dealing with renters insurance, I'd recommend contacting Homesite directly. I'm currently on hold while this issue is being escalated to a supervisor. This experience has been a clear reminder that customer service is not a priority at GEICO. I'll be canceling my car insurance and taking my business elsewhere.

    Non responsive waste of time -- AVOID!…read more I spent 90 mins with an employee Christine over an extensive quote ... giving all the specifics answering all her questions ... after a week of not hearing anything I emailed her and received a notification that she is no longer with the company. I called and a woman said she'd look into it finding my name in their system. After another week -- nothing. I called again and the sane woman apologized and said that Mike Williams will get back to me within a hour with the quote. ( Keep in mind this is thousands and thousands worth of coverage.). I waited 4 more days and called a 4th time and told the woman I never heard from anyone. "Someone will get back to you". Yeah rrrrrright. No wonder Christine left. Just steer clear and AVOID PC Insurance.

Living in the Mountains can be difficult finding homeowners insurance, fire, snow etc. But I've been fortunate with Mike Williams at CPI, to take care of things. I've even sent several friends to CPI because of the ease and affordability. As of now, my roommate has auto insurance with CPI, I have renters, homeowners and auto insurance with them. In sum, I appreciate the ease in which my needs are taken care of, and of course the price. I don't do email/docu sign computer stuff, so CPI sends everything via USPS. Which allows this old man (stuck in the past) peace of mind. Highly recommend for any and all someone's insurance needs. Sincerely, Micheal Wyatt

    The setup to this AAA location is completely different from the ones in San Diego. I was confused…read moreabout the line so when I was called up I asked the lady (don't know her name) to confirm whether there is one line or 2. The reason why I asked because I intend to go in person in the future to do other transactions because the location is close enough that I can skip on the online stuff and have my questions answered immediately (at least that was what I thought). But I guess asking that question for my own understanding was too much for her that she turned very argumentative when I just wanted a confirmation (I wanted to know this, so I know which line to stand in in the future). I managed to get two questions in, and I finally decided to just have her cancel my membership. My purpose there was to have someone assist me and explains some stuff before renewing (which I don't really get the same type of explanation when renewing online). AAA, is there a reason why you have to be so defensive when a customer was just asking questions for future reference so we can do better business with you? Why blowing everything out of proportion when she could've just answered the questions?
