So getting around could be a little complex if your visiting for the first time. As I am a huge fan of basketball and swimming I was looking for these two facilities to start of with. When I entered the basketball court I was awestruck by how well maintained their court is. It's a full NBA size court and they have plenty of basketballs to choose from. They also have towels and water fountains in the facility. Just amazing! Next stop was the swimming pool. Nice heated pool with 8 lanes and jacuzzi, sauna and steam room next to it in the same facility makes it spectacular and extremely accessible. By this time I was already convinced that this was the best gym I have ever seen. I continued my tour by visiting squash and racquetball courts. There were plenty of players playing at very high level. They also have a viewing area from where you can watch these players play squash. It was fun. I also visited pool tables, shuffle board, bowling alley and workout area. Pool tables are very well maintained and they have some very good quality sticks. I got an opportunity to play with regular players and by the end our game they were impressed by my skills and invited me to play with them on a regular basis. I wish I could but unfortunately I am just visiting for a couple of more days. We then headed to the bowling alley. It was empty so we used a couple of lanes. We also grabbed some beer and snacks while bowling. Only negative is that it's hard to find 10lbs balls which is my favorite weight. Nevertheless I used a 11lbs ball and I still had an amazing time. They have couple of men's locker rooms. Men's locker is very well designed with lockers in the wide area and shower in the middle so that the shower is easily accessible to everyone in the locker. They also have steam and sauna in the men's locker. They have open showers with shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lots of towels right across the shower area. What amazed me the most about the men's locker is their additional supplies such as body cream, oils, shaving foam, blades etc. If you're a member here you don't have to carry anything other than your gym wear. I am truly amazed by their facility. It does not end here. To add to their amazing gym facility, they also have party space and a nice roof top where they host parties on a regular basis. They also have free beer Tuesday's between 5pm to 7pm. So with all such amazing facilities you must be wondering about their monthly membership fee. Let me tell you that it's not cheap. The base price is around $260 which is a bomb for lower to middle class families. You can buy lockers for an additional cost and parking is free only for first couple of hours. They have a cafeteria where you can order food and drinks. Here is a little tip for all the Yelpers, if you check in here using Yelp app on your phone they give you a free small smoothie. I've noticed a new cleaning crew in the evenings recently and it has been an improvement. Thank you for that! The yoga classes are a MAJOR high light of my gym life, the teachers here are top notch ( Joesph, Alex Rachel are excellent) and they rotate so you are able to explore different styles and expand you base knowledge. The sauna has been recently remodeled. The steam room could definitely use some new tiles and caulking but it's always piping hot. The staff are attentive and the guests who frequent this location are extremely friendly and you have a small sense Community. Jason and Icelandic Fitness literally saved my life after I was stricken by a horrible and very…read moreaggressive bout of pneumonia. Long story short, the everyday run of the mill flu, turned into a secondary pneumonia and horrible lung infection for me. My right lung was over 80% infected while my left lung was a little over 50 infected. This was NOT walking pneumonia but rather the kind of pneumonia that pretty much kills people when 50% of the lung is infected. once again... I had 80% infection rate. I spent over 5 hours in the ER, was given emergency injection of antibiotics, pregnazone and fist fulls of oral antibiotics. After that, they pretty much told me to pray that everything works and that I'd beat it. As an ex-athlete, longtime skier and mountain biker, this was the craziest medical game plan I had heard of. Fortunately, with what little bit of mental cognition I had left, I decided to look into hyperbaric oxygen therapy for pneumonia relief. Lucky for me, Icelandic Fitness popped up after a Google Search or two. These HBOT treatments along with Jason's meticulous oversight, worked miracles on my health and I survived my ordeal. I don't want to get into all of the science behind the efficacy of (HBOT) hyperbaric oxygen therapy, all I can say is the information is out there and the Hyperbaric Oxygen Institute lists some unbelievable benefits. Should this therapy be sought to treat pneumonia? 100%, yes! As a matter of fact it just seems crazy that none of the medical staff even mentioned it as a treatment option. That's how great this treatment works. I did FOUR days in a row at about 1.5 hours per session. That might be a bit much for some people, but I'm confident Jason will help identify how many sessions and how long each will work best for you. It really comes down to his expertise and him asking the right questions about what's going on with your body. Tissue repair, accelerated healing or overall recovery, Jason has you really, really covered. Want to increase the odds and beat pneumonia? Make sure you incorporate (HBOT) hyperbaric oxygen therapy... under Jason's watchful eye.

It's always blazing hot inside at all times of year. Makes working out extremely uncomfortable. They also only have 3 fans available in the entire facility. 2. The music is so bad. It's like a mix of oldies and soft rock. Nobody wants to work out to that. 3. There has not been a single time that I have asked a staff member a question when they actually knew the answer. It is the most infuriating thing to hear "I don't know" to every little question that you have. PLEASE train your people better or hire individuals that actually care to learn how to do their jobs.

I understand rules for safety but one rule still has me baffled. My godson was using one of their floating devices in the lap pool and he was told only swimmers doing laps can use them. Not like anyone was doing laps and I didn't see any harm using it. The price was great as well. For my children ages 5, 8, and 10 was $12.00 for an all day pass. .
