It's Sunday morning i'm hung over and still a bit high from the house graduation stripper party last night, I wanted nothing more than to stay in bed but I had to get up and clean the house because all the furniture in the living room were moved to the front yard to make room for the strippers to stripped last night. I was worried that the furniture/wood antique would get rain on because it was cloudy. I called like 15 places and they responded with that they are either closed on Sunday, they don't do pre/post party clean up, they don't do front/backyard clean up, or they don't move furniture for you. All the strict rules and regulations and excuses. And all i needed were a few hands to pick up the beer cans left on the grasses, map/sweep the living room wood floor, move the furniture back in the living room spaces, water down the front and back concrete yards, and trash gathering. And then there is Squeaky Services and Jonathan Wilson who would leave his Sunday plan to come to my house to see if they can provide the special requested services. He came and called over one of his coworker and in 3 hours, they had done everything I needed and more by making the wood floor shiny. Not only do these people go out of their way on a Sunday to help me clean an after party, they also are willing to help me move furniture which none of the 15 companies I called is willing to do. Squeaky Services are flexible to your needs, will go out of their way to provide services that other company flat out refused, do an outstanding job at cleaning, provide service on weekend when a lot of companies don't, and they will do all this with a smile because they are super nice and friendly. After getting three separate bids from other cleaning services, Squeaky came out at the top of that list. I must say, I couldn't be happier with their attention to detail and professionalism. I had recently installed new tile throughout 1500sqft of the house, so their first task, cleaning the floors and dusting (so much dust), wasn't a small one! We have used many different cleaning services but most of them are inconsistent because they always send different cleaners every time we get a cleaning done. My mom is basically a germ-a-phobe, so when they finished she checked every spot that they have cleaned. With out a doubt they are a quality team, excellent customer service beginning to end. Our shower glass was full of soap scum even the last company could not completely clean it. But squeaky service actually cleaned every bit of soap out of the glass, good job squeaky service team! My wife and I were getting our previous house ready to sell, and I initially contacted several companies for estimates to do a deep cleaning (including Squeaky Service). JJ (I think this is Jeric) came out, was very professional, made some recommendations for things we could do in advance of their full cleaning day, and gave a great estimate. It took just over 2 months to finish moving our stuff, do some painting, and some other preparation tasks. Fast forward to now- I set an appointment, had a family member waiting to open the house (as I was working), and did not hear from them until several hours after their committed arrival time. After trying several times to reach them, someone else called me (Javon, I believe) and said that JJ had been in a car accident, was okay, but couldn't contact me to let me know they couldn't make it. I hoped JJ was okay, and we made plans for them to come out today. Given the accident circumstances and the professionalism of the estimate process, I thought re-scheduling was fair to them and wouldn't affect our listing time line significantly. Boy was I wrong! No call, no show today. I made multiple calls, texts, and left several voice mails during the five hours I waited after our 9AM appointment, to no avail. No response from JJ or Javon, not even a "we are sorry for the confusion, but we are unable or unwilling to complete the job." Very disappointing, as the estimate process showed a different side of their business. Even if they told me they underbid the job and couldn't follow through, that would be preferable to waiting hours today without a courtesy call or text. After reading some of the other recent reviews, it seems there are other customers who have experienced the same thing. There are references to a recent ownership change, but my instincts say most customers during this transition (and possibly going forward) are being treated poorly. I ultimately can't be an advocate for a business that values their time over their customers. ***Update***: Luis, the current owner, reached out to me as noted below. He was very apologetic and took my feedback seriously. Luis also offered to reassess our home and update the previous assessment, as JJ's estimate may not have been accurate. My wife and I gave him the benefit of the doubt, and we proceeded with another estimate. After reviewing our home and taking our poor experience into account, Luis did offer a substantial discount from what he would typically charge. It wasn't exactly what we expected in terms of pricing, so we will use another company instead. We do appreciate Luis' efforts to make it right and earn our business, but it just wasn't a good fit for us at this time. read more
