I have walked past here more times then I can count. But today I went for a tour and lecture with a…read moregroup from my work. I was so surprised at not only the size of it but the amount of amazing artifacts and memorabilia inside. It is well worth a look inside and if you can get a tour by all means do it. Our tour was hosted by two veterans that are so full of facts and information it was incredible. I highly recommend going. Also if you need to retire a flag you can bring it here. Two thumbs up !!!!

The Museum of Military History is pretty cool. Many veterans and community members have donated…read moreactual, authentic artifacts from various wars. This museum is primarily volunteer run and the volunteers or curators have done a great job of displaying everything. During my visit this past Sunday afternoon, there was a gentleman there who served in a war, retired, and now spends his time volunteering and sharing historical facts to school groups. This museum is free, donations welcomed, located within the Simi Valley Town Center. The operating hours are very limited, but evening community meetings are sometimes held at this venue. Plenty of parking. I'm looking forward to visiting again soon to see new displays. #21/2018
