About six months ago, I popped down to the Jewelry District downtown at the suggestion of a friend. I had finally made the decision to buy an engagement ring for my partner, and was immediately overwhelmed by all of the vendors. I know that the district isn't really a place where you get 'customer service', as they deal in high volume and get straight to the point-- but after talking with Lupe for ~10 minutes she gave me a solid scaffold of things to know about the ring that I was putting together. She was very friendly, and so helpful during the process. Ended up coming back to Loyal Jewelry a month or two later with my partner and getting some more details-- Lupe again was above and beyond with answering questions and showing us different options, *without* being pushy. Finally a month or two after that I went back and purchased the ring ( I know that it can be annoying having someone seemingly 'window shopping', especially at a high volume place, but never felt like a second class citizen or anything). When I went to pick up the ring, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that they had sourced a better stone than I had initially picked out-- absolutely stunning an was greatly impressed by this pleasant surprise. Turns out my partner loved it as well and after getting an emphatic 'Yes!' when popping the question we are so happy and thrilled that we got more than what we wanted, *and* at a great price! CAUTION I WAS SOLD SEVERAL FAKE DIAMONDS. Only to find out years later when I took the rings to our local Jeweler in O.C. for cleaning and checking the settings. Get yours checked to make sure they did not CZ your ring as well!! When I had my second ring made from this business I ordered 9 diamonds on the band. When I went to pick up the ring there was only 8 diamonds. Upon returning again I did not check the diamonds as I trusted these clowns . That is when the fake CZ was set on the band. I am really really, really super impressed with this store. I was looking for something very unique and everyone else told me they had to order it out of a catalog. It's weird how you walk past all of these little shops and everyone ask if they can help you and then no one can or they don't know what you're talking about and when I walked past this one, I told him what I wanted and he said I have what you want and he did.!! After having purchased our rings from Loyal Jewelry, my fiance realized that the tax rate in Los Angeles was lowered on the day we made our purchases! When contacted, they not only refunded him the difference but they called him back the following day to ask whether I wanted a refund for the difference in the amount I paid for my fiance's wedding ring.
