If that's how they handle things, they won't be helping me be able to see. There's a lot of surgeons out there, and I will find someone who cares about my vision. Beware these people, and be ready to be treated like meat with eyes!

When I woke up from the surgery, the first thing I said was, I hated them they were too big, the staff blew me off with that response and told me to come back for my follow up appointment. At all of my follow up appointments I voiced my concern about how I still did not like the way I looked, that they were too large. I was ignored by both the staff and the doctor every time I voiced my opinion about it. After my last follow up it was as if I no longer existed. I have now lived this way since 2015 hating my breasts every day.

However, it wasn't until I saw him that Sept at this 14807 San Pedro Avenue location that I found out I wouldn't be considered for medically necessary at all. He only told me during my Sept appointment that the only doctor who could see me for medically necessary purposes would be Dr Erdmanczyk. I have to admit that I wasn't too happy about this because, if I had known that only certain doctors would be able to evaluate me for medically necessary purposes, I could have waited to do my medical eye exam later. It realiy would have been nice and much more forthcoming if I had been told this upfront back in August 2025 at the Alamo Heights location. For that reason, I am only giving 3 stars. I really think Dr Pessoa could have done a little better in properly informing me. I also noticed that he also wasn't as enthusiastic about examining me during my follow-up appointment with him in Sept 2025. And for those very reasons, I really could have waited to do my medical exam appointment later in the year with Dr Erdmanczyk if I had been properly informed before coming to this location that he was the only doctor who could see patients for medically necessary purposes. But I have had my own businesses for years, and I know that the customer experience is the most important thing in any business. Everything was handled by staff members until the last 10 minutes of my visit. The staff was cordial enough. My appointment was on time, but there was just no warmth AT ALL. They put me through their process made a recommendation,told me how many units they thought I needed and gave me a price. ($650) It was more than I was accustomed to getting both in amount of Botox and in price, but hey, they are the experts, right? So I went with their recommendation. They got me all prepped. The doctor came in, literally said two words to me. Poked me seven or eight times in the face and walked out. I scheduled my return visit to come back in two weeks. When I came back, I noticed that the droopiness in my eyelids, which was usually corrected quite nicely with the Botox injections that I had received in the past had not changed. I basically looked exactly the same as I did when I came in the first time. When they asked me how I liked it I told them that. (again. I'm not seeing the doctor just a staff member) Instead of trying to give me some sort of solution, they just argued with me that that was what I should've expected, and there was nothing they could do about it. After I pushed back a little, (very nicely) they finally brought the doctor in who also was quite cold and defensive, and simply said that it's what I should've expected and there was nothing they could do so I paid my bill and went on my way. I think they used too much product above my eyes which caused my lids to remain droopy and I won't be going back. People will often forget what you say to them, but they will never forget how you make them feel.
