Went to LSA burger in Denton, Texas with some girlfriends for some lunch on a Friday. Good food overall but I would like to comment on the service we received. Do not want to name drop but the waitress's name starts with an H and is the jokers gf. This waitress was super condescending to my friends and I. Whenever I asked her to add cheese to my burger, she responded "you want to, ya know what never mind." I simply wanted to add cheese as the burger I was ordering did not have cheese. Also, my friend ordered a drink and she could not hear the waitress whenever she asked her what flavor. The waitress responded with "what flavor sweetie" in a very rudely manner. I also went to the bar to ask the employees there where the bathroom was. One of the male employees who wore glasses, said to me "it's going to be upstairs, take a right and then you'll see it up there." The other very sweet pretty employees told him to stop and pointed to where the bathroom was. I can take a joke but I am literally a customer asking nicely where the bathroom is. I did not expect that kind of response. Anyways, food is great just make sure your waitress is not Harley. read more

This one of our favorite places on the square usually. The rooftop with great drinks and live music is always perfect! This time however, the portions were much smaller. The fries were soggy- not cooked long enough. And the chicken tenders were cold with almost slimy breading. It slid right right off the chicken. Derek was our waiter- he was super btw- he said they had new management and new cooks and that he would report our concerns. I hope they can correct it! The manager was so sweet and brought us 2 plates of chips and dips since we were waiting for over a hour and half. After being seated, the waiter was ready to take our orders and brought us our food shortly. I've been to this place a million times while I was a student at UNT and have tried almost all of their burgers. LOVE LOVE LOVE. and the truffle fries. Omg. My friend and I both ordered the Turkey Bob burger, but she had hers with the veggie patty and I had mine with the beef patty. My burger was juicy and full of flavor and I loved the warm fresh bun. We shared fries and we couldn't have possibly eaten them all. I want to go back soon and bring my husband who loves a good burger! The drinks are pretty good but pricey, highly recommend the margarita flights for 1-2 people. Service is really good as I haven't had any bad experiences yet. OK, I am not gonna give a single good review on this place whenever I was there I ordered a drink. It was watered down and then I ordered a mushroom burger that came out that was dripping water and grease from the burger so I ordered bacon to go with it after I dried it off And then the bacon comes out and it's not even completely cooked even though the first manager argued with me that it was I mean, it literally had white foam on it and it was just soft and disgusting so then the district manager comes out and was playing nice with me and thought she was really cool and she handed me a card which I thought was her business card it was not it was a free queso so I thought that after $35 meal they would take it off because she said they were. I get my bill in and they charged me for $46. I will never go back to this place again whenever I first went there five years ago it was great. It was horrible experience. Awesome patio . This is an interesting joint. Lots of stuff to look at around the square and on the walls ; unique. I've been wanting to try this place for a while and as today is perfect patio weather , I did. The location is great, right across from the county courthouse in the old town square. The patio; it's a rooftop patio and is really unique. The food... it's good I'll say that, but for what you get vs price, your paying for / coming here for the atmosphere and the patio. LSA Burger is easily one of the worst burgers I've ever had. How could a dish have so many different ingredients yet be so flavorless? The service is relatively slow, but this is because there are few waiters and waitresses to serve the hoard of people that the building fits inside. Because everything is made of wood and the building is often crowded, LSA is extremely loud. On occasion, they bring live bands to play, and the terrible music blares out from the third story all across downtown. Let's start with the pro (that I'll be nice enough to give three stars for): the fries are great, they're crispy and the garlic parm option comes with a really tasty dipping sauce. The cons: 1( it's a weird setup and you don't really know if you've got a server or what. You order at the counter, but you don't pay till later. Someone brings you your drinks and food like as if you've got a server but then no one comes back to check on you for drink refills etc. It's not a good setup period. 2( The burger patty is thin and dry. I was not expecting that from a burger joint, but that's how it was. My husbands was the same so not a fluke. And somehow it had some pink in it?! The bun is big, dry, way too much for such a thin (already dry itself) patty. I regret choosing this place, and wasting the 30 bucks, but you live and learn. Do yourself a favor and learn from my review and say yourself the money. read more

I always feel like I'm cheating on RG Burger's in Denton on the rare occasions I visit LSA. After driving around a few blocks round and round the area I finally found a parking space three blocks away. A parking garage nearby would be nice. I dropped my wife at the door so she could get us a table. The place was experiencing a busy mid week lunch crowd. Our server came right over and took our drink order and suggested an appetizer which we ordered. Within three minutes our drinks arrive and the appetizer within five minutes. It was hot and tasty and we were having a great time visiting. My drive was a pint of Blood and Honey, a deal at $5.00 a pint all the time. We both ordered burgers. Mine was The Stevie with blue cheese. It was prepared perfectly. I'd suggest adding butter pickles. We also got one order of fries. It was seasoned well and a really good portion to share. Our salsa was almost empty and our server brought us a refill without being asked. Really great service. When the bill arrived I asked if they offered a military veteran discount (we are a very small percentage of the general population) and they said yes. Thanks for honoring our service as not all restaurants do. I mentioned that I felt like I was cheating on RG Burger. At the end of the day there is enough love in my heart and in my belly for @LSABurger We will be back soon as great food, great service and great atmosphere should not be denied. read more

I always get the burger that has the egg on it I don't remember what it's called but it's dumb fire and the Parmesan fries (don't be cheap if u gon go get the parm fries I'm tellin u that lil up charge is nothing) additionally the brisket queso; yea don't second guess yourself on that one... get it!
