So my lawn mower was making a strange sound. He said something was wrong with the mower. He, being my lawnmower (my son, he is my lawnmower.. hahahahaa.). He said the machine that cuts the grass was sounding funny. Broke out Yelp to see who you ladies and gents recommend. Well you didn't have anyone local to me in Hurst, but in a nearby city, Grapevine. Called ahead to find out the particulars. Sounded reasonable and family owned. Drove out, was given an estimate on parts and labor. Was thinking if it costs more than a new mower, will donate it on Nextdoor. Nope. She told me what parts would cost, and a service that included oil change, blade sharpening and fix the broken items. Came out way ahead. Um, 3 weeks turn around though. But they had a bazillion customer mowers out front in intake and outbound, so I expected it, and had a back up mower ready, and a lawn service I call time to time when I just feel like giving my son a rest. 3 weeks pass, I get a call on the exact day. Mower is ready. Drive out, mower starts one pull, no noise, looking like a new mower ready to cut some grass. paid my moolah, they loaded it up for me, and I could not have been more pleased. So thanks to the awesome family that owns and operates Gary's for offering honest service at a value. Not common these days to find one of those, let alone both. Also, thanks to you Yelpers that posted great reviews. One of you, Mark W. gave me a heads up on the turn around time, so even at 3 weeks, I wasn't caught off guard and knew what to expect. Not many small engine repair shops in business with mowers and such being made to throw away these days, and to buy a new one is usually cheaper than repairing. We live in a disposable society, we ourselves create and perpetuate. So I expect those few in business will be swamped and take more time to get to me. BUYER BEWARE!! I…read morebought a Samsung refrigerator from "Jay", the owner of the company. He told me he was certified in the Samsung refrigerators he was selling. I paid for my Samsung refrigerator, bought the extra 2 year warranty with it, and it was subsequently delivered that same week. The day after it was delivered and set up.....the first thing I noticed was that the water was definitely not being filtered and the ice was stinky. I called Jay to report the issue, and get some assistance, and his attitude had completely changed. He had my money....so clearly friendly customer service was no longer a priority. I told him that the water tasted and smelled awful and the Home Depot brand filter that he sold with the fridge was not locking into place, I told him that when I pull the filter out, it's bone dry....no water was passing through it. I told him I thought the wrong filter may have been installed, and that I went to Home Depot to get an official Samsung brand filter.....but was running into the same issue of it not locking into place. He told me "that's just how Samsung filters fit, and that's just how Samsung water tastes", and then he said "he can't be responsible for people's different tastes, most people like it", then he told me that "it's normal for filters to be dry" and that "Fort Worth is notorious for hard water, and he can't be responsible for that either", and THEN he told me in an authoritarian tone: "I'll send my tech out there, and when we find nothing wrong with your fridge, or find that YOU broke it, I'm going to charge you a $60 service fee." He had already made up his mind and dismissed me before ever having investigated the issue I was reporting. Jay left me with absolutely no confidence that he was taking me, this issue, or this transaction seriously in the slightest. So after carefully reading the terms of my warranty that was included with my receipt....I decided to seek a second opinion. I called a well known, highly rated and accredited/insured appliance repair shop in my area to get an estimate (Appliance Champion). Appliance Champion identified the issue IMMEDIATELY bc they pay a monthly fee to have access to Samsung's internal Knowledge Base....and this issue is WELL documented WITHIN SAMSUNG. Basically, these Samsung refrigerators can ONLY take Samsung filters....and when people try to install aftermarket/3rd party filters, it breaks the filter dock, making filter connection impossible without replacing the filter dock. The Appliance Champion Technician gave me a copy of all the official Samsung documentation so I could take it back to Jay. Well, I didn't feel comfortable talking to Jay at this point bc he had made our last interaction so awkward and uncomfortable, so my husband spoke with him to try to reason with him. Jay informed my husband that our warranty was now null and void since we sought a second opinion. And he would NOT be giving us a refund on the warranty that we paid for and only had for a week at this point. There was NOTHING in the Warranty contract that indicated anything like this in the terms. Jay told my husband "how do I know the other technician didn't break the fridge?" How do we know?? BC YOU SOLD THE FRIDGE WITH A HOME DEPOT FILTER IN IT JAY. YOU ACKNOWLEDGE YOU PUT THE HOME DEPOT FILTER IN THE FRIDGE.....AND SAMSUNG OFFICIALLY DOCUMENTS IN THEIR KNOWLEDGE BASE THAT THIS BREAKS THEIR PRODUCT. Then I found out that Samsung only certifies ONE technician in the area to work on their merchandise.....and Synergy Appliance is NOT IT. So not only does Jay and Synergy appliance have no idea about the inner workings of Samsung refrigerators.....Jay is also a LIAR and a SCAM artist. Learn from my mistake and don't get ripped off by Jay's smooth used car salesmenship. I have copies of the Samsung internal Knowledge Base documentation and repair service ticket to PROVE I'm telling the truth, if anyone would like to see for themselves. Appliance Champion got my fridge repaired and working flawlessly, with great tasting water and orderless ice. And although I'm out the $$ for the warranty, and out the $$ for having to repair a fridge that was sold to me BROKEN....... NOW I'm finally happy....no thanks to Jay.

The last time I spoke to their phone girl named Melody, she was actually rude to me regarding the third scheduled visit because the time they had didn't work for me after they rearranged their schedule to fit me in, she forgot they stood me up twice before. The owner himself called me with zero customer service skills whatsoever. I highly recommend looking somewhere else for a credible appliance repair shop who shows warmth and kindness and above all punctuality. By the way they schedule you with a 3hr window and you have to make sure you are ready but more than likely they won't be. Not a good value.

I went up there to ask for a carburetor gasket for a very routine tractor and the old guy behind the desk was not happy to see me walk in. No one addressed me as i went into the building. when I told him what I was looking for immediately before I even got it out of my mouth he said oh no, we don't carry that and good luck finding it. I left thinking waste of time, and got in the car and did a search and found it within two minutes on Amazon and ebay for like 4$... so don't bother with these guys even though you might think they are local I guess they must be making a living off overpriced tractors. Came across Outdoor World when I started looking for a replacement for my 2006 Ferris Zero-Turn and…read moresure glad I did! They had the best prices of anyone especially with the zero percent financing on their Stihl mowers. They gave me a reasonable trade-in for my old Ferris and I ended up buying a Stihl RZ752i Zero Turn. And they were throwing in the upgraded suspension seat at no additional cost! JR and the rest of the staff were amazing throughout the process and JR actually helped me decide between the Stihl RZ552 and the RZ752i. I changed to the RZ752i and sure glad I did! I have about 10 hours on it and it's been outstanding, great ride, nice cut and just feels like a high quality machine! The only hiccup was the that assembler failed to tighten the battery cables so after about 7 hours it failed to start and there was some "arcing" from the loose connection. Easy fix, tightened up the connections and no further issues. Would not hesitate to buy again from the guys and so impressed that I'm willing to drive the 40 miles from my house and have them do the scheduled maintenance on it. In my opinion, you can't go wrong giving these guys a chance to earn your business.

I had replaced a lot of parts on it, they were needed anyway. It had been setting for about two seasons due to health. I had it running and then all of the sudden it started dying out. Tony came to the house, rebuilt the carburetor, and several other things to get it running. He was very good at diagnosing the problems and fixing them.
