I apologize for the long post in advance...lol. I have been coming here for over a yr and had…read morepreviously had nothing but good experiences. I only allow Sara to do my nails. She deserves 5+ stars. There is a male who is either the mgr or owner. He was the first one to start treating me poorly. I had to return due to gel polish coming off 1 nail....which had never happened & hasn't happened since. It was at about the week mark and Sara was happy to fix it. I had scheduled a slightly earlier appt but had an unavoidable delay. So, I came in later in my lunch break and explained if she couldn't do it I would return after work since I was ~20 min. later than planned....on me. She asked her current client if she would mind if she fixed the 1nail & the client was super nice, said no prob. I had already pulled out $10 to give Sara. B4 I could hand it to her, the man at front began yelling at me telling me I better tip her. Sara became upset saying that I owed her no tip bc the polish shouldn't have chipped. She tried to refuse the tip but I insisted bc she had been nice enough to fit me in. Fast-forward about 4 mos & Sara left on vac for a month. My nails were lasting nicely but after 3 weeks i decided on a polish chg due to an event I had. Person new 2 me spent about 10 minutes thoroughly inspecting my nails and wouldn't answer if there was a problem. She walked off & returned to do the same thing a couple of times insisting that I did not have gel polish on my nails. I told her that was not true. She then went to one of the? Asst mgrs who came over and said the same thing. I told them to look at my toes to see the perfect match...which is impossible to achieve unless it's the same substance. They then insisted that i had powder. I told them I had only done powder once in my life, it wasn't with them and I would never do it again (side note...as a physician, it is not rec due to most salons' communal dipping which is unsanitary and increases risk of infection). This went on for another 10 min to the point that they lied and said they checked the system to verify my last service and insisted it was dip. I then insisted on seeing proof of that at which time they changed and said it must be acrylic. Again, have only done that once...not with them. I prefer gel. They then "apologized" and said it was just because "those services cost more"...??!!!...what the what??!!!...and that had what to do with me and my request to change my GEL POLISH??!! At that point I became upset and told them that I did not appreciate the way they were talking to me and implying as though I had done something wrong or unscrupulous. They again apologized saying they would take care of me, but then began insisting that Sara must have added extra coats of polish or topcoat???!!!. So, now i felt they were then trying to drag her name thru the mud and imply she had done something wrong. Meanwhile the sweet young lady that was changing the polish on my toes was done while the person working on my nails hadn't started. I wouldn't have come back if it wasn't for Sara. Fast forward two visits later and I had my sister with me who has Alzheimer's. It was a Wed and when we checked out, I reminded the lady checking me out (also either mgr or co-owner) to add my sr citizen discount. She asked for my id despite me having been there for well over a year getting that discount or the medical discount on Mondays. No prob. I showed her and she proceeded to tell me that I was not old enough...I'm 59 soon to be 60. She insisted that it has always been 65 for the discount. I calmly said no one had ever said that in the entire time i had been coming (& that included her but I didn't go there). She insisted it has always been the policy, followed by running outside to check their promo board......I pointed out that most places start sr discounts at 55, to which she replied that they are their own business separate from anyone else. She pointed out that i couldn't use my points and a sr discount together anyway so rec i use my points. When i paid for my sister's, she started again b4 she even looked at her driver's license. I pointed out that my sister was 66! She seemed disappointed . It's a 10% discount!! I get that businesses are likely feeling the economic crunch...but so are consumers! Don't offer the discounts if you don't intend for them to be used. I soo used to love this place. I would have given them a rating of 10 on the 5 point scale... but they charge too much (plus i tip 20%) to be treated poorly. I will likely continue going bc of Sara...she is the best and I always get tons of compliments on my nails. Mani/pedis should be a relaxing experience. It's sad that many of the nail salons have a way of stressing you out more than when you entered. If this continues, I will likely have to start searching for a new place. I wish I didn't get the design because it just isn't quite right, but it's mainly because I wanted thin lines and I just don't think they could do that. The husband and wife are friendly and considerate tho and I really appreciated that. If I'm in the area again, I'd come back and just not get a design. These people are sorry as hell…read more Last week I spent $45 on nails that they messed up on and told me to come back on a Monday which I did and then told me to come back on Tuesday since they were booked to get them fixed. They ended up fixing my nails and charging me another $45 for a full set . When I confronted the lady she told me she could only fix a few nails for free but still charged me for a full set of nails makes no sense right? And then I told her you tell us to tell you about your services and if we are happy with them or not that you guys will fix it? Then when customers tell you that they're not happy with your service they get all mad and blame you for their mistakes. I have witnessed this myself multiple times with other customers that have been in there. You guys are wrong and you know it you do not treat your customers like this especially ones that come back and are loyal. Please do not respond to this message or any other messages that I have left reviews on all I ask is that you refund my money for both services that y'all messed up on.

I came in to get it fixed, and was told that I needed to pay five dollars to fix the nail, (was not told that over the phone) I immediately stated that I was not going to pay for the fix because never in my life have my nails fallen that quickly. They then told me that the next time the nail fell before the time frame of 7 days, I could call and ask to send a picture of the missing nail which I didn't know was something I could do cause there's no sign anywhere stating that, so I easily replied with "ok, I didn't know I could even do that" and she responded the smirkiest comment AND with an ugly tone "well now you do" heeeeeck no"! Instead tell your workers in a smirky tone to do a better job, not me. I work hard to pay for a set that is going to LAST, press-ons even last more than 5 days pfffffft!!! Anyways, the nail was fixed and no charge (just this once) and it only took like 6 min or less to fix it. That's just pure greed at this point.... proper customer service would have been to apologize for the nail falling so soon and for the inconvenience of me having to return, and then just fix the damn nail for free. I can understand if I'm constantly coming in with the same excuse that my nails are falling soon, expecting them done for free every time, but this was literally my first time in many years that I've been coming to this nail salon. They should be a little more loyal to their customers, just the way they expect us to be loyal to them and continue coming for services here. I have recommended this nail salon to my mother-in-law, my two sister-in-law's, my coworkers who I used to work with, and many other friends. I am very disappointed.

They work 6 days a week and are always consistent. They take the time to get to know their customers and they have a huge number of regulars. I don't even have to tell Tommy how I want my nails done. He already knows, and when I went through a phase where I wanted something different every time, Yen put her best creative foot forward and never let me down. The ladies that do the pedicures are all great and friendly. We have conversations about their families and ours. We discuss our vacations and plans. It's an open area with a spa-like atmosphere. There is a separate room for waxing and they have contemporary music playing, while the TVs show whatever talk show/news is currently on with subtitles so you know what's going on. I have zero intentions of going somewhere else for my manicures and pedicures. When you have a good place, you don't leave.

I didn't have time to get my nails done again, so I popped in for a removal. The tech burned my nail and I reacted, she did not apologize or seem to care. When I sat down, she insulted me saying my nails grew out so long. She improperly removed the acrylic set and even tried ripping them off with an extra acrylic nail. She left artificial nail on all of my nails, I realized this when my nails have been in pain. As seen in the photo, my real nail beneath the artificial residue. I have chipped a piece off of the artificial left on top of my real nail, seen in photo 4 in my palm. This is an outrageous way to treat a paying customer, let alone anyone. I am not going to the salon to rectify this so they can cause more damage. I have previously voiced my concern at a separate visit, about the lack of professionalism and aggressive practice done by some of the techs here. It does not seem to me like this salon truly cares about all of their customers and that is disappointing because I had referred family to this salon but will be warning them to save their money and health of their nails. Also worth noting they would only offer certain customers a water, never once did they offer me a water.
