She was so easy to talk to, and she explained (in plain English) what I might expect if I took her advise. She did not try to push surgery but instead recommended a trial period of wearing corrective lenses to see if my eyes would react to the treatment, and if it does then maybe surgery would be a good alternative. She was very pleasant and took her time to answer questions. My eyesight and previous 60 years of treatments are very complex. I am looking forward to continuing with her and excited to follow through with her opinions. I took her advise. That's twice they literally saved my vision. On top of that, they are very professional choosing the right lens for me.

She finally called me back and told me that I wasn't covered to them and I owed almost $600. I canceled the glasses however it was still charged $110 for my free exam. . They knew it wasn't covered but did not tell me when I called and asked if they accepted my she said yes. When I got there, I was stood up to be taken. I feel I'm owed my money back. After years of taking my kids to VisionPoint, I was disheartened when they stopped allowing me to…read morebook appointments for all three of them in the same day. I tried to get appointments for them at both the Portage and Chesterton locations and was told the same thing. I began to call around and encountered the same problem at a few other companies, but the employees at Target Optical were happy to make the appointments for all three kids in the same day so we wouldn't have to make multiple trips. Once there, the process was fairly simple. The kids were each pre-tested as I completed new patient paperwork. Before I could finish, my first child had already been called back. Within an hour, all three appointments were knocked out, and we were on our way. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Dr. Baker is quite knowledgeable and caught that the last place we went to overcompensated for my daughter's astigmatism. The only drawback I'd say is that they need to offer a larger selection of frames, including flex frames. My kids were initially nervous with it being a new place, but they left happy and said they would like to go back the next time they need checkups. I have no problem with that!!! :)
