We were referred to LTI from a sod installer who said they had the best product. They were close so we went there and we were Wowed! The business was very clean, the staff was exceptionally professional, from the guys on the trucks to the office team. They delivered the product quickly and it is beautiful! The delivery driver was friendly and did a great job dropping the item on our driveway and making sure to avoid sprinkler heads. Our grass is down, looks great! DO NOT USE LTI!!! A week after the snow/ice storm, we had our yard RE-sodded with Zoysia sod, which was purchased from LTI (Landmark Turf). The sod looked very brown and brittle, so we asked if it had been left out in the snow/ice but were told no. Needless to say, after several weeks of following the proper care instructions, it wasn't growing. We contacted the installer who reached out to LTI and they said they would not warranty the sod. After a discussion and threatening a small claims case, they asked to wait until the end of April to "give the dormant sod time to grow" and if it didn't they would replace. Here it is nearly the middle of May and now they won't respond. We are filing a small claims court case against them and a local news channel is going to do a story. Our hopes is that nobody else gets burnt like snow/ice sod they sold us. Again, DO NOT USE THEM!!! read more

Found this place on online, went there and purchased 5 pallets of Zoysia sod after a short conversation with Andre who sounded very polite and professional. Two days later the sod was delivered, while the driver was unloading I noticed that the sod is mostly brown and very dry, some didn't even look like Zoysia, I asked the driver if there where two kinds of sod mixed up, he said it's just a little dry and will be fine after installing it and watering it, I didn't argue because I know he's just the delivery person delivering what he was told to deliver. After the installers where done I went and looked at the sod , it was obvious something was wrong. I called LTI and left a msg for Andre, that was Friday, I called again and left a message for him again on Saturday. Over the weekend I emailed him photos and asked him to take a look and let me know his thoughts because new sod should not look like this. This morning he called me back and was very defensive and told me that it's normal for new sod to be like that because of the heat and all that. I didn't argue much because I knew I was not going to get anywhere with him, he told me to water the sod and let him know how it turns out in three weeks. I had someone who knows about sod come take a look. The minute he saw it he told me that it's too old and most of it will probably not come back. I will not waste time and money watering dead grass. I paid $1790 for 5 pallets of sod and I don't have to go through this. Please look at photos and let me know if I'm wrong in the comments. read more

I have been getting grass from LTI for my personal use for the last 10 years. They treat me with my 15-75 piece order just as great as if I was buying a trailer load. I ordered Bermuda sod and when it arrived it looked dry and dead....I was told to immediately start watering. I watered for five days and it is still dead looking. I think the three pallets of sod delivered was older sod, dry and mostly dead and dumped on me. I had used this company before and was satisfied, but not this time. Even the man I talked to on the phone was not very responsive when I called to ask about delivery time. I was told a driver did not show up and that it would be another two hours before delivery. This is a busy place in the morning but they manage to cycle everyone through efficiently. Get there early before they sell out or place an order in advance and have it delivered. Their prices are better than Lowe's or Home Depot but they're set up more for large orders than for a couple of squares. Good people with good quality product. read more

I can't speak from a customers standpoint about LTI sales, but from a vendor standpoint I do not recommend doing business with them. I had a signed order from their owner on a $40,000.00 forklift and he cancelled when I went to deliver it to him. He lied and said he tried to call me a bunch - but that's definitely not true. The product is excellent, assuming you can actually get your hands on anything. There is no ability to pay up front and have LTI hold sod for pick up later that day. Separately, the customer service is atrocious. I have called several times looking for zoysia and was jut lectured about sod farming and how busy they are and to call back tomorrow. Read about this company on a neighborhood Facebook site. A couple people had great things to say. I have always bought my grass rectangles from HD but I needed a whole lot this year. Called up LTI and they told me exactly what grass I needed (zeon zoysia - looks like Bermuda but grows in shade under my trees). I ordered it, drove up, they placed a pallet in my truck bed. Took about 10 minutes. It looked so good I bought another pallet today. The owner asked me wait an hour for a truck to arrive because THAT zeon zoysia would match what he sold me last week (red clay). So the product is excellent, the service is excellent, and the price? Much, much lower than HD. read more
