Instead of attempting to resolve my concerns professionally, Jeff sent me the following text message: "I flagged your account and deleted the invoice from today. It's a small price for me to pay to realize you were an issue to begin with and we don't work well with people like you." I believe this message speaks for itself and demonstrates how customer concerns are handled. Additionally, Jeff S., as listed on the review, posted a review about me personally online despite never having hired me for any business services "Do not recommend Stephanie R, very rude and callous" Rather than addressing the service I received, the response attacked me personally. It was also stated that I instructed the company to never contact me regarding the service. That is simply not accurate. As the property owner, I specifically instructed the company to contact my tenant for scheduling and appointment confirmations because I do not live at the property. I did not tell them to never contact me regarding the work itself, that is ridiculous- I am the one paying for it all. I believe businesses should respond to customer feedback with professionalism and factual information. Unfortunately, my experience after leaving an honest review has only reinforced the concerns I originally raised with personal attacks and name calling. ------- Original review: I called them out because my tenant admitted in writing that she had changed the sprinkler controller settings and wanted the system checked afterward. Before scheduling the appointment, I explained to the company that the service call was specifically to inspect and reset the system because the tenant had altered the programming. After inspecting the system, Jeff called me and immediately said the entire system was "all messed up," claimed the controller was "an old Home Depot one," and estimated approximately $1,100 in repairs. He also told me there was "probably nothing they could do" to reset the controller. After questioning that conclusion, the story suddenly changed, and I was told they actually could reset and reprogram the controller after all. What concerns me even more is that when I received the invoice, there was no mention that the tenant had changed the controller settings or that this was the reason for the service call. I specifically requested that this information be documented, and the company refused. The property was purchased in February 2026 and underwent a professional home inspection with no sprinkler system issues reported. I find it difficult to believe that just a few months later the system suddenly required extensive repairs, including replacement of 17 sprinkler heads, especially when the service call was prompted by a tenant changing the programming. I can't say whether the repairs were truly necessary, but I left feeling pressured into a very expensive recommendation, received inconsistent information from the technician, and was disappointed that the invoice did not accurately reflect the reason for the visit. Because of that experience, I will be seeking a second opinion before authorizing any major repairs and would encourage others to do the same.

The tech was very timely. I liked everything about this company! I hired them to repair some drip lines that had been chewed by animals. At my request, he took a look at my entire system and noticed a few other things that needed work. (He may have done the inspection without my request -- a lot of companies do. But I specifically asked for this.) On the spot, he gave me an itemized estimate for everything. His recommendations were great! He capped a head in a section of my backyard that was getting watered by three different zones and pooling water. He replaced 2 heads in the front yard, including one that was blocked by tree roots. He changed the spray pattern on 1 or 2 other heads to optimize watering in a problem section. He noticed that I was running a zone to an empty garden bed and recommended that I turn that zone off. She said he turned the sprinklers on, saw that they were dribbling, ran his hand under the faucet and said "you have a pressure issue. This feels like a 45 and it should be 75. You need to call a plumber to increase the PSI". He did not use a pressure gauge of any kind. Today my new favorite plumber came (from Scout Plumbing - also does sprinklers, heat and A/C - highly recommend!!!) Come to find out one of the sprinkler heads was damaged and 2 zones were wired together in the control box. He replaced the sprinkler head, rewired a zone, and now everything is working great. So basically I paid American Sprinkler Repair $133.90 to come to my house to do absolutely nothing and provide completely incorrect information. Wish I could give zero stars...

I have an acre, and much of the backyard surrounding the pool and walkways was done in travertine stone, altogether a couple of thousand square feet. I had extensive flood damage to the stone in the last 2 years. Much of the stone had to be removed and reset or replaced, of course with a completely new stone bed and mortar. In addition I had a broken area of my driveway that needed to be redone with concrete pavers. The masons finished their job about a week ago and I was just amazed at how meticulous they were. I have done complete remodels, including extensive landscaping, on six different houses, and the paving work done by Cabrera was so far superior to any other crew I have hired that there is really no second best. They were head and shoulders above all the others. They were absolute perfectionists, and did not rush at all. What was originally thought to take 3 days or so turned into a 5-day job for a three man crew, but there was not a bit of complaining from anyone. They did not try to increase the charge because of the unanticipated extra labor. The owner of the company was always available and always responsive to any question. What I have today is a hardscape that is far superior to the original installation done 10 years ago. This is a company, family owned, that I will keep on my list for any landscaping needs in the future.
