They didn't use furniture pads that I bought for them to put under the couch and other furniture. I thought they used them and when I tried to move my couch, it scratched the floor. When I called them, they said it wasn't their responsibility to use the furniture pads or to get the streaks out so it looks like a new floor. They were very rude. I ended up hiring a new company for $3500 to get my floors looking the way they should've the first time. I would never use them again. They said there's nothing more they could do and it wasn't their responsibility to put on the furniture pads. I talked to the president of the company and he was very rude. We really enjoyed the hands on process of working with Elizabeth, our designer, who helped guide us through the entire process of creating our dream primary bathroom. We had a fair bit of back and forth throughout the design process but it resulted in some highly detailed and thorough design plans, which included realistic renderings, all the selected hardware and finishes, and overall layouts. We felt like we got great advice from Elizabeth, and she really listened to what kind of look and feel we were going for. We then got with Daniel, our project manager, who helped turn the plans we received into reality. He was also a pleasure to work with and always provided very clear project updates via text and phone. They exceeded all of our expectations…read more We redid a few rooms of flooring (including one bathroom), changed out a lot of the trim, and upgraded the stairs from carpet to hardwood. Peter is probably one of the most professional contractors I've ever hired. He confirmed the start of the project the day before, showed up on time every day of our 3-4 day project, finished at a decent hour (so we could have our evenings to ourselves), and kept me informed about the progress of the project every step of the way. Everything was contracted and professionally handled in terms of invoicing. He made suggestions for how to improve the appearance of our home in certain places and gave us up-front pricing about every additional change we could add on if we wanted (we took all of his suggestions and so glad we did!). He paid such great attention to detail, fixing so many errors throughout the house that previously were there...things I didn't even know needed fixing! So many of our doors were not sealed correctly and the flooring was all a mess, they fixed it all for us. This was a big project for us - we saved for a whole year for this project - I am so happy we chose to work with IDC.
