Dave responded quickly to evaluate the project, he was attentive to my concerns and what I needed, and he presented me with a range of quality and price options. Based on my research and competing quotes, the cost for my chosen option was reasonable. I wanted better windows and I knew they would take a while longer to manufacture. Unfortunately, we were up against a deadline with winter coming and weren't able to sneak the job in before the weather turned consistently bad. It was definitely worth waiting for though. On the day of installation, the crew arrived on time, were very professional, and they did a fantastic job. I would definitely hire All Star again for another project based on price, quality, and service. (This next piece will not be of interest to everyone, but if you are a single female homeowner, I think you know what I'm talking about when I say that a genuinely respectful contractor who listens and doesn't just flex, lecture you, and then try to hard sell you something you don't want is a gem. Reliable Window Repair is basically two guys - Gene and his right-hand-man Nick - and they are…read moregreat vendors at what they do - window and door repairs.  They do quality work at reasonable prices and I'm happy to have used them and now also highly recommend them for any of your window or door repair needs.  I think Gene said they have been at it for 4 years now. I found them via word of mouth referral from my neighbor, and who in turn had done the same from another neighbor.  Our community's townhomes utilize casement windows (Pella brand but it doesn't matter on the brand). Casement windows after a couple of decades have a common issue and that is rotting wood on the bottom sash that ultimately will prevent crank operation of the window.  Even the non-movable center window experiences bottom sash rot and Gene and Nick also repaired two of these center windows for me.  They also repaired a side casement window and the repair cost was about $300 per window.  They use high quality cedar wood for their repairs.  In case you were wondering, a new small Pella casement window costed me $850 9 years ago because I replaced one, not knowing then that I could have had it repaired like new by these guys. Gene and Nick are honest, courteous, keep their word, work cleanly and neatly, and have a good work ethic.  They hail from Moldova, and that may not be here nor there, but some cultures just generally breed a good work ethic and I think that is the case here.  When done, they cleaned up, vacuumed, put moved furniture back in place, and left our neat place as it was when they started.  Big thumbs up and thanks again for the great work, Gene and Nick!

Deck Doc just finished power washing, sanding and staining my deck, and I am 100% satisfied with…read moretheir work. I scheduled the work around last November, as I wanted my deck to be refinished and looking good for the full 2025 season. The first days with decent weather in late April the deck was washed, and by early May the deck was finished. A crew of 2 worked a full day power washing and bleaching the deck and 2 sections of yard fencing. Every part of the deck was thoroughly cleaned, including areas not normally visible, and all areas of the deck that were surrounded by bushes. Within about a week, as soon as we had a few sunny days and warmer weather, a crew of three worked a full day sanding and staining the deck and fence. The deck floor was power sanded, and all other surfaces were hand sanded, before all sawdust was carefully blown away and stain was applied. Deck Doc did an outstanding job, and I would not hesitate to recommend them. Communications regarding scheduling were excellent, work was done competently and on the days and at the times promised. The area around the deck was left completely clean when work was completed. Thank you for making my deck look like new.
