I paid the rush fee, plus an additional $20, because I knew completing the work within two weeks was a significant request. When I returned to pick up the dress, it was in far worse condition than when I dropped it off. The hem was completely uneven, with the back noticeably shorter than the front, making the dress unwearable for my event. I calmly brought my concerns to the owner, hoping we could find a solution. Instead, I was met with yelling, a refusal to issue any refund, and an overall lack of professionalism. Even other customers in the store commented that the dress looked uneven and poorly altered. The owner ultimately told me never to come back, stating that too much labor had gone into the dress to offer a refund. Paying over $200 for alterations only to receive a dress in worse condition than when I brought it in was incredibly disappointing. Thankfully, I took the dress to Erol's in Cherry Creek, where they were able to correct the alterations. They even offered me a discounted rate after seeing what they described as the poor quality of the previous work. I rarely leave negative reviews, but I believe others should be aware of my experience. If you're having something important altered--especially for a special occasion--I would strongly encourage you to consider another tailor.

We waited while they waited on other customers. The manager finally stopped chatting to ask if it was done and she was told that it had been done for awhile. It was still uneven. Another employee took me to the back again to measure and it was still over half an inch longer on one side than the other. They took it in the back to "fix," it again. They were starting to close, they brought it back out again. It was still uneven. They said that they didn't have time to fix it and that I would have to fix it at home myself. They refused a refund. Their "fixes," left holes in the garment. Terrible quality and no accountability.

For my Birdy Grey satin dress, that meant 4 yards worth; at about $25 a yard, that was over $100 after taxes for alteration. YIKES- that is literally more than I paid for the dress alone! My seamstress must've seen my shock; she went back and chatted with her team; she asked me "How many times will you wear this dress? Once for the wedding?" I replied yes- as much as I'd like to "rewear" my bridesmaid dress, I'm gonna be honest- after so many weddings, I know it's just for the big day of my friend. So she suggested a cheaper seam (not as durable, but does the job), which dropped my alterations to about $60. Just some notes for ladies to be aware of. I wish I had known more coming in on what I was was expecting to pay! Overall- a good experience. They finished my dress with a few days to spare.

Grace and her team can pretty much do anything you need done. Turn around time is usually about two weeks, but they can work with your timeframe if needed. Tailoring is expensive. BP charges what other tailor services in the area do, so when I say I spent $144 on tailoring a dress and denim jumpsuit, know what to expect. I will continue to use BP for all my tailoring needs.

Disappointed would be an understatement. I brought my wedding gown to Olga, based on the…read moremostly-positive reviews seen online. She said it would be ready in four weeks (6 days before my event). We asked if she took appointments, to guarantee that we could be seen at that time, but she said no, and recommended we come at 9:00 when her shop opens. On the agreed delivery date, we arrived at 9, and waited 15 minutes outside for Olga to show up. Upon entering, I told her I was back to pick up my bridal gown, and her response was "It is not ready. I was going to call you and ask you to come back on Wednesday [5 days from now] to get it". This meant my dress would not be ready until 2 days before the big day, which hardly left any margin for error, or further tweaks to be made, if needed. When I expressed these concerns to Olga, she was less than empathetic, insisting it would not need further alterations at that time (which is impossible to guarantee). She then told us she had been "very upfront" about the vacation she was taking (which evidently delayed her, and which none of us recalled her mentioning at the time of drop-off), and argued that we had brought the dress to her 3 weeks ago, rather than 4 (which was debunked when we showed her the recorded date of our initial deposited check). At this time, I asked if she would consider any kind of compensation or discount for the inconvenience, lack of communication, and delay. She disagreed with me that there was a delay, and gave me a curt "no". By this point, I was extremely distraught and stressed, knowing the difficulty that lied ahead with finding a different tailor to complete multiple alterations on my gown, but ultimately decided it was worth leaving Olga's store with our deposit, and finding another provider who would stay true to their word. Would not recommend entrusting tailoring services here, if you have any emotional or logistical stake in the game.

Olga does not make appointments, but told us to come back on Saturday September 30th- 6 days before my sister's wedding, and to arrive when the shop opens because we couldn't make an actual appointment. We arrived this morning and Olga didn't arrive to open her shop until 9:15, then told us that she had not yet started on the dress and that we would need to come back later in the week to pick it up. She didn't communicate with us to give us a heads up about the delay, wouldn't offer a discount for the inconvenience and didn't apologize for the stress she just caused my sister, on the week of her wedding.
