Hmmmmm... I'm not sure it's legal but this place charges an extra $10 for the registration sticker (on top of the registration and emissions test). And their emissions testing price is the highest around. If they're going to nickel & dime their customers, they've lost my business over a measly $10. read more

Changing my review from five to one star. My wife drives a 2021 RAV4 Hybrid. Based on Toyotas recommendations with Synthetic oil, they say every 10,000 miles or once a year. FOUR oil changes in a row later and after referring many friends, I realized Lube Doc was only printing every 3,000 miles on my sticker. I confronted them via text when realized and they said that with the synthetic oil that they used on our RAV4, they recommend changes every 5,000 miles. Really put a bad taste in my mouth. I trusted their expertise and they tried to profit deceptively off of me by getting me to change oil every 3,000 miles rather than 5,000 or 10,000. Extremely disappointed after going for 6+ years with all of my cars. read more

I have used lube doc for at least 10 years now on all my vehicles. I could do it myself but then you have the hassle of disposal of old oil and the headache and time taken from your day. Why not just have these guys do it for a couple dollars more? They are fast and friendly. Every now and then they have coupons which is nice. (See video below) My family and friends have been taking our cars and trucks here for over 10 years giving them business. One of the Norton brothers told me I couldn't have o2 extenders (which aren't illegal). So I did a little magic of my own to make them disappear without them knowing, Haha passed! Went it again to have it retested and passed. I use a GoPro as a dash cam that is mounted on my back window. Caleb notices the camera and looks right at it at it and says "your truck isn't that nice". Well dipsh*t I wasn't filming you to know if you liked my truck or not. How about just doing your $11/hr job as a lube boy and minding your own damn business. And also, you passed a truck without catalytic converters so I could show the county and police that you pass illegal trucks/ cars. Say goodbye to your state license cupcake. I was throughly impressed with this place. After years of suffering through Jiffy Lubes condescending and pushy behavior, I finally branched out! And, I am so glad I did! I came on a Tuesday morning, so naturally I got right in! I could see everything they were doing with my vehicle and I really felt like they treated it as their own. As I was getting my oil changed, I saw on the wall, all of the other things they check and fill for you included in the oil change service! They really go above and beyond! All of the employees I came in contact with were professional and polite. They didn't print off an entire list of everything my car needed done (cough jiffy lube cough), but instead recommended ONE thing and really educated me on why I would need it switched in the near future. I felt a sense of trust with this business and would highly recommend it! 5/5 for overall experience! -bathrooms... The second place didn't have the special filter, and wouldn't get it. Lube Doc ran to the auto parts store and got a couple. They always kept one in stock for the next 17 years I owned the car. I've been here multiple times trying to give them a chance and each time they fail. This last time was the straw that broke the camels back. I am newly married and went there to get my oil changed with my husband (first time there for him) and the employee came out to the waiting room and asked whose car it was. I raised my hand and said "Mine!". Mind you, I wasn't talking to my husband, looking at him, etc when I answered. The employee immediately went to my husband and asked if it was okay to replace the air filter. Excuse me? You do not know if my husband is actually even with me (there were others in the waiting room). I am the one who answered that it was MY car. You should address me. My husband's name is not yet on that car. He does not pay for anything on that car. I do. They are high for the cost of just changing my oil. They are quick, but they overlook a lot. Such as my car has come in and had the "change oil" message display and for three times have they not reset it (as ALL other dealerships I've dealt with have done). I requested they do it and they did. I am by no means a feminist, but I would appreciate it if a business gave me the common respect I deserve. If I said a car is mine, do not pass me over for the closest man to me and ask him. If you had, I would've agreed to you changing a part on it. But since you didn't, you have lost my business and I will tell everyone that I DO NOT recommend this business. read more

I was thoroughly impressed with Lube DOC. This is a family owned business that is run by good people. In the quick 15 minutes my car was in their garage they topped off all the fluids my car needed, they vacuumed my interior, and changed my oil. I paid 40 dollars for everything - I had only come in for an oil change. I felt like they made an honest effort to go a bit above and beyond. They sent me home with a discount stamp card and a free lavender air freshener. I'll be returning in the future. And to the crew that helped me out: great work guys. read more

FIve star review here, not because they did everything right -- they did not. I had special instructions, which the tech agreed to follow, and then they did not follow my requests. But the important thing is, I talked to the manager, and he made it right -- and refused to let me pay for the oil change. I took my car in for a safety and emissions check. (I passed!) They were quick, friendly, inexpensive, and did I mention quick? My last one at an unmentionable competing company set me back way more money and WAY more time. I pulled into Lube Doc 30 minutes before closing, and they had my car done within 20 minutes. I noticed there was a line of about 5 or 6 cars ahead of me too. They had skilled technicians really doing thorough work, but keeping the process going fast and smoothly. Lube Doc is my go to for oil changes! Easily the best service in the orem area. Always super quick and professional. I never feel pressured to do/buy anything extra. If my filter's dirty they'll show me it and let me decide if i want to change it or not, no pressure. But it's honestly only when it really needs a change and not when it's just slightly dirty. I was concerned because I've had problems at Mobil oil change in AF, across from Lowes, where they said they checked air filter and when I asked to see it, they didn't know how to open the air filter compartment up and when it was finally opened, the filter was black! Oh, I was upset! Since when does the customer become the person who inspects the work? When work is inspected, performance improves. I didn't like having to become a stress case when and during the oil change process. And if work is inspected by me alone, that's not often enough for performance to improve! The checker place next to the (legalized) slurpy sugar drink shack and across from Lowes needs to be managed... period. Lube Doc didn't make me feel stressed out and I really appreciated the feeling. This place is clean and service is stellar. Thank you Lube Doc for caring. It's old fashioned I know, but for some reason caring just makes it all work right the first time and this was an example of it just working the first time. read more

My car failed safety because of a loose turn signal light (it had been loose since I bought the car in 2005). I told the employee this and that Lube Doc had passed it in the past without any issue or mention. The employee stated that I was exaggerating, which was pretty alarming to be basically called a liar. He checked the broken section and then agreed that it had not broken recently. He began explaining how I can bolt it on and pass inspection. Somehow my nodding was perceived as "being testy" (his words). I wasn't sure how I was suppose to be following along in any other way. He then grabbed then rested his hand on my shoulder for some reason. I looked at his hand and he removed it and apologized. After being told I was "being testy" I was unsure as to his intentions grabbing my shoulder. I told him I would return with the issues fixed (the right brake light was out, also.) I returned after replacing the brake light and adding a metal bar to sturdy up the turn signal light. They completely ignored checking the brake light and went right for the turn signal. They said the turn signal fix would pass this time, but not next year. After the way I was treated, I will not be back. read more

I have gone here 3 times now and each visit is better then the next! They take such good care of my car! $39 for an oil change plus coupons. And if you forget they remind you about the coupons. The guys there where very personable and made sure I was taken care of. The price for an oil change was very reasonable as well. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I called ahead to see how long the wait was and I was told I could be in and out in 20 min but that turned out to be closer to an hour. Even the older gentleman running the front desk recognized that I had been sitting there for a long time, so at least they are aware of their customers. Most other customers there seemed to be repeat customers and they were recognized by the workers and that showed me that they care about the people they serve. read more

I'm truly impressed. I pulled up and asked for the price because I had so much cash in hand. He said 42ish or 38 with coupon. I hadn't even fully parked my car btw.... I hopped out after I was satisfied with the price and went inside to wait. As soon as I could plop my buns on the chair, i looked into the bay to check out their workplace and like WHAT THE????? There it was. My car already in the bay and they were popping the hood. Mind you the guest area was 2/3 full..... Jaw to floor. I started getting anxious as I read the pricing board because it said $55 or something for high mileage and I was like... crap they going to bend me over. So after about 40 omg's in my head they called my name. He told me the price and had already applied the coupon because he told me about it in the parking lot. They reset my oil life counter... had no idea that was a thing and topped off my windshield washer fluid which was much needed. Told me to come back within the mileage if I need more oil or windshield fluid for free. Like... damn. I'm rarely this impressed by customer service but.... damn. Oh.. the dude that was working on my car seemed like he didn't want to be and the guy I spoke to took over and took care of it. I took my car here for an oil change the other day. Everyone I encountered at Lube Doc was happy and PROFESSIONAL which immediately made me feel comfortable leaving my car there. When I came to pick it up they knew exactly which was car mine. The cashier/"man behind the counter" went over everything they did item by item (unlike other places I've been to) so I knew just what I was paying for. It was basic oil change stuff: change oil, replenish liquids, vacuum, etc. But I'm glad he reviewed it with me. Lube Doc customers also receive a discount card which reduces the oil change price every time you come. The staff at this place made all the difference. I'll be returning. read more

Last time I got my oil changed I went to Jiffy Lube. Talk about a nightmare. I went for a basic oil change and ended up waiting 1.5 hours! This time around I went to Lube DOC and was pleasantly surprised by their quick service and willingness to help. They jumped up to meet me when I pulled up and got my oil changed in 5 minutes. The 17 point oil change is a little pricey at around $50 but they were trustworthy and honest about the work they completed on my car. Would definitely recommend them. read more

I called to see if they could wait for me to get there because I live about 15-20 minutes away and I called 25 minutes before they close and their answer was, "Probably not" which is the last time I'll call them because anybody who doesn't understand that doing that will cost them a lot of future business because I've got seven kids five of whom are married and the other two are adults and one of them lives just a few blocks from them and I will not recommend my kids go there ever. I went to lube doc to get my safety and emissions done. I only had to get my parking brake adjusted for it to pass. I had it adjusted 4 times before the grease monkeys would pass it. I'm not mad that they wouldn't pass it. I am mad that they put up such a stink that it wasn't good enough for them. Yet, it was good enough for big o tires and les Schwab. I won't be be getting my vehicles serviced here ever again. read more
