Ripped me off for a $200 oil change...Never replaced my filter just ran new oil through it until until the spent oil was mostly cleared out. Then they proceeded to charge me for a complete oil change as well as all the oil they waisted in order to cut a corner because they were too lazy to do the job properly.... typical of big companies like this to be deceitful and untrustworthy. read more

My tire had just popped on my way back from a long, eight hour school day, and I ended up pulling in to a random gas station frustrated out of my mind. For the most part, an oil change is an oil change and there's no shortage of places to get that done. It's not overly technical work and few opportunities for these businesses to differentiate themselves. Waiting rooms and amenities is certainly one. I've been going to this LNG since it's opening. Customer service has become low to average and wait room nasty since then. The room is plastered with advertisements, same chairs since opening have become uncomfortable and dirty, no wi-fi, and many gas stations have cleaner restrooms than this waiting room. Dirty, unwelcoming place. I have decided to opt for a cheaper or closer oil change business for the future. read more

I really didn't want to give a bad review since I have been a customer here for a long time but I am forced to. I hope management reads this review. I usually use the coupon offered in the Paso mailer and about 9 months ago the coupon was changed and wasn't as enticing as it once was. I enjoy going here for their service so I started bringing in a competitors coupon which was more satisfying to my pocketbook. I have done it a few times and there has never been an issue with them accepting it. Well, this all changed last week when I stopped in for service. I thought it was a perfect time to stop in since I noticed the bays were empty and the guys were just standing around. It looked like they needed something to do and I could get in and out quick. I spoke to the young man that greeted me and let him know that I had the competitors coupon and that I've used it before. He made it clear to me that they couldn't accept it but he could give me a discount on the services that I needed, no where near the enticing price of the coupon. I gave him a second chance to honor the coupon but he stuck to his guns. I got in my truck and went to the shop who offered the coupon. While this other shop is out of my way, I was happy to get my service done at what I wanted to pay. It's too bad a manager wasn't on duty because management usually understands economics and would never let a customer walk over a coupon. It's better to make a few percent less on a job than pay 3 guys to just stand around and make 0 percent. read more

Took my car here due to sludge build up in the radiator & random overheating . They flushed it and the problem was gone for about a week, then it started again worse then before. Took it back to have them attempt again to only have the same problem return shortly after even worse then the first time. Finally took my car to a different mechanic to have them tell me that whoever had flushed my radiator had done it wrong and did not Bleed the air out like they are supposed to which in turn caused the head gasket on my car to blow up. So now I have no car because people are not properly trained on how to do their job or don't take the time to learn how different cars are worked on, they are not all the same. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE UNLESS YOU WANT MAJOR ISSUES OR TO BE LEFT CARLESS!!! read more

whatever you do, don't take your vehicle here to get the oil changed. I have been going there for 20 years but after my experience today I will never go back. The manager was disrespectful, had an attitude, used profanity and got into my space without wearing a mask. He said I was the one with the attitude, and said he didn't like me over criticizing their job that they performed on my vehicle. Now for the record I wasn't wearing a mask either because I left it in my other vehicle, that's why I stayed outside. Obviously the manager got offended because I told him to back off when he got 2 or 3 feet from my face. They did check the vehicle out but told me the oil leak was coming from another part of the vehicle that they did not work on. They put a note on the paperwork that the vehicle was low on oil on arrival and leaked oil on arrival. It's possible it could've been low on oil but there was definitely no leaks. I've heard of this happening to other people when they went there. The manager definitely copped an attitude because he was offended when I told him to back off. When I tried to explain to him the things that they should've done that they did not and the things that they were supposed to do that they didn't the manager started to argue, saying I was nitpicking. I told him the reason why I didn't want him standing so close to me and he started arguing saying l was not wearing a mask either. He used a lot of profanity and basically put it out there that everybody has a right to wear a mask or not wear a mask and obviously he does not believe in the coronavirus. He just went on telling me about his rights. Every store that I've gone into in this town you are required to wear a mask and the employees are required to wear a mask. I know some places don't enforce it when shoppers come in and they're not wearing one but the employees are. At Lube N Go only one of the employees was wearing a bandanna over his face and everybody else Including the manager had no face coverings on whatsoever. I'm still trying to get a hold of the owner to complain and I'm gonna go to the Better Business Bureau and of course I am putting this on Yelp. This manager was the most arrogant, ignorant individual that I've ever come across when dealing with people. Might as well say he was an idiot, and I was stupid for trying to talk to him. When I told him that I didn't like when he used profanity when he talked to me he didn't stop doing it. He just didn't care. How a guy like this ever got a job as a manager anywhere is beyond my comprehension. So do yourself a favor and don't go to lube 'n go, Find somewhere else. There are plenty of car dealerships that will change your oil for basically the same price. If I was the owner of this business I would definitely get rid of this manager. So now I guess I have to find a new place to take my vehicles to. And for the record they wrecked the plug on my oil pan because they tightened it too much and stripped it out. They told me that happens all the time, Blaming the vehicle manufacturers parts rather than their inability to just screw a plug-in snug. I hope this manager gets his just rewards for the way he treats customers. read more

I came here for an oil change while on vacation because my change oil light when on. My husband usually takes care of the oil change on my car but was unable to do it before I left on my trip due to sickness. I call beforehand to inquire on service and availability and get quoted a starting price of $85. Time of service depends on how busy they are when I come in, the guy says. I make it out there when there is only one other car in shop. They take my car in immediately and I expect it to be done in 15 minutes, as he told me if there was no wait. I wait nearly 30 minutes with my dogs tied up before I get the report that the guy can't open my oil pan to change the oil. He doesn't have a 10mm standard tool to release the bolt. But he has "easy-outs" but not in the correct size, which he has already used that have damaged the head on the bolt. It's apparent he'd been trying for a while to open the pan with no luck and tells me it was the previous shop's fault. Angry and panicked, I contact a Chevy dealership 30 miles away and get quoted $2010 to do a full labor to repair and replace the oil pan. They refuse to even look at the car unless I'm ready to do the job. I return home traveling over 130+ miles on dirty oil and lots of questions in my head and ask my husband to take it to the previous shop to figure out what happened. The workers there didn't take more than 5 minutes to let my husband know that the bolt was tampered with and now I need the entire pan replaced. It may not cost the $2010 that I was quoted for at the dealership, but it will be several hundreds of dollars above the $85 I was quoted for at this place. There was nothing previously wrong with the bolt. But now I need an entire oil pan replacement done bc I didn't get an honest report from the get-go. Thanks guys. Took my wife's car in for an oil change for a second time. ( the initial time no issue) The synthetic oil poster for 75 or 79 I don't recall. Sat there during the oil change and when it was done the cashier said that it would be 136.00. We were floored the previous price was 75-79 asked about it. We were told they only fill with what the manufacturer recommends?We weren't told this, And prior we paid the regular price. The manager at the time stated he was from another store and asked how much we paid before. He gave us a 30 dollar discount but it was still 100 hundred dollars for an oil change that should have been around $80. We felt they were being dishonest about the specific manufacture oil request, even so, They need to inform customers before the work is performed! We have several cars that need oil changes and smogs regularly and will not return because of the dishonesty. read more

This is the second time I have been here. What I learned today is that they charge you more for oil that is for your car. I guess they did this last time and I didn't realize it, because they don't inform you about the up sale. This time my hubby came with me. When they rang it up I thought wow tax isn't that much and asked why is it 5.00 dollars more. The guy said oh its for the oil that the manufacture recommends, which is all well and good if I was told. So my husband said well you need to mention that when we drive up. He said oh Brian should have mentioned that.. well he didn't so as we were leaving my husband walked over to Brian and said you should have mentioned the up sale for the oil to us. He put his arms in the air and shrugged his shoulders and said we did the same thing last time. My answer in my head was well this isn't last time its now.And they didn't mention that to me last time either. I had paid for a new air conditioning filter and walked out of there paying 99.00 and didn't know they charged me extra for something not told to me. His attitude really sucked. I thought his customer service skills really sucked.The last time they didn't give me the coupon I brought in and said oh well you can use it next time. To me they should have said Oh I am so sorry let me adjust that for you and give you a credit on my card. As they should have today.... I don't mind paying more for things at all but I do what to be informed about it!!! Next time Brian say oh I am so sorry for not saying anything let me take that off for you !! I wouldn't take my vehicles anywhere else. They never pressure you in buying things that aren't necessary. All of the employees are completely honest about what services I need and what services will be coming up. What really impresses me is that they check and show me every serviceable fluid even if it's not due for service. The Lube techs are well knowledgable and the prices are VERY reasonable. This is the only place I get oil changes in Paso. I like that they are locally owned and 98% of the mechanics are helpful and have good customer service skills. They will try to sell you over priced cabin air filters and transmission flushes every time, which I'm sure they are instructed to do, but never seem annoyed when I politely decline. I like to get there right as they open, because they do get busy and it's a long wait in less-than-comfortable seats when there's a line. Plus side: there's free drip coffee in the waiting room. read more

They were the best - super friendly and helpful! I was passing through on my way back down to LA when my car threw a check engine light just outside Paso Robles. It was Sunday, and they were the first shop I could find open that I figured would be able to read codes - I took my car there, but I had turned my car on and off enough times to clear the code. They pulled the car in and checked all the fluid levels as well as the engine bay for any signs of a rock hitting it. All said and done, they couldn't find anything amiss, so they sent me on my way with some peace of mind and freshly washed windshields, and I made it back to LA without any further incident.
