I have been a patient of Dr. Cho for more than 10 years. It is no doubt on Dr. Cho's skills of fixing dental issues. It is the main reason that my husband and I have been going back even it means to travel from Brooklyn. Over the years, the attitude of Dr. Cho has changed to be impatient with growth of patients. The regular teeth cleaning service becomes inconsistent with different hygienists. The front desk person complained about sending the bills to the secondary insurer and would not mention the bill adjustment until the question was raised by the patient. This gradual deterioration of service and experience made it very difficult for us to return, even though I was once a regular customer. read more

I have been a patient with Dr. Cho for over 10 years. I think I was among their first patients when he and Dr. Chan first opened MDG. The first thing that struck me about their office is that you feel like you are walking into a spa - everything is spotlessly clean and modern. The staff at reception, some of whom have been there as long as I have been patient, are consistently very friendly and helpful. Dr. Cho is an incredibly well-trained and technically excellent dentist. In my first couple years as a patient he replaced 4-5 silver fillings, a crown, and some damage to my teeth caused by grinding and gum recession. I have not had any problems with these teeth or my gums since, which I think is a testament to the quality of his work. Unlike some of the negative reviews, I actually appreciate that he takes the time to explain things in lay terms. I did have one issue recently with the work that was done by a different dentist in the office (slightly jagged fillings). Dr. Cho reached out to me by phone, was very understanding (I on the other hand was a bit irrate at the time), and scheduled me to come the next day and fixed the problem. This experience is partly what motivated me write this long overdue review. My wife and kids are also patients at MDG, who see Dr. Chan. While I don't have experience with Dr. Chan as a patient, I can say Dr. Chan does a terrific job communicating with me and my wife any issues, and provides suggestions for the kid's dental needs (like getting them to floss more, like we all need to). read more

This review is way overdue. I moved around a lot growing up and went through my fair share of dentists. Most I hated. At best, one was okay---basically, that person you need to go to annually and just get something done. When I chipped a tooth while on a long business trip in NY, I needed to find a dentist and remembered my dad, who has been the absolute worst about dentists actually liked his when he was in the city. So I asked my mom for the name of the dentist and the rest is history. Dr. Cho was able to fit me in and fixed my chipped tooth. My experience with him and his team had me switch them to become my regular dentist. Mind you, I was living in California at the time. So for three years, I would plan business trips to NY so that they would coincide with my bi-annual cleanings. I'm full time in the NY area now, so luckily, I don't need to plan cross-country trips anymore (although I do need to brave the commute from NJ to NYC). I typically go to Dr. Chan now (just by coincidence), but also see Dr. Cho every now and then. Both are amazing. Seriously, do you willingly get and receive hugs from your dentist? And when my insurance messed up my billing for something early on, it was Dr. Chan herself who handled everything and got it all sorted out! And to be clear, it has not just been teeth cleanings. I've had to have two gum grafts and was terrified due to some traumatic experiences as a child getting permanent teeth pulled. Dr. Chan does not do the gum grafting, but she told me she would give me the anesthetic the first time around because she was sure she could make it less painful for me. She was right. And because of her, I was also able to trust Dr. Rosenstein with the full process next time (who also did a fabulous job). I would not consider going anywhere else for my dental needs. read more

I adore Dr. Cho and team, this was a real Yelp success story for me, when I moved to New York from the south I was overwhelmed and had no idea how to pick a dentist in the seas of options. I ended up going on Yelp and searching for dentists and the reviews for Dr. Cho sold me. This practice is every bit as kind, professional, and sleek as everyone describes it. You walk in to a gorgeously decorated waiting room that could be the waiting from for a spa, it has soft trickling water and light wood. I've always been seen within 5 minutes of my appointment time which, to anyone in NYC, you know is a rarity and a pleasure. Every dental hygienist is professional and warm; they effectively get your xrays and prework done quickly. Added benefit, while you are in the chair they have a tv with Hulu, it makes going to the dentist a treat, especially if you need more extensive work done. Dr. Cho himself is efficient and pragmatic, he explains the situations honestly, for example, when I had to get my wisdom teeth out he told me there was only one that had to come out but recommended to get them all out because of the way they were positioned. His analysis empowered me to make the right decision. The other story that I think really highlights how great Dr. Cho is was when I was in a 4pm appointment, the last of that day. He had finished up the scheduled checkup work. He pointed out to me that my filling of my chipped tooth was uneven. Being a front tooth I asked how soon we could schedule to fix it, and even though my appointment was over he fixed it right then, really extraordinary care for these days. The other thing I like is the office staff is fantastic with billing, they tell you exactly what things cost before they happen and I've never had a billing issue or confusion. Long over due positive review. I am very skeptical of going to a new dentist and was very much so with Dr Raymond Cho too (7-8 years ago). This is the first dentist where the cleaning was both thorough and not tortuously painful (consistent across all their hygienist) in contrast to multiple dentists in the area I tried the few years before this practice. This review is long overdue. I agree with Other 1 star reviewers Dr Cho can be impatient and mean. You can tell by his responses to critical reviews what he is like. I also agree with other reviewers he has no social skills and likes to show off what the knows and lecture you. I initially liked Dr Cho but I went to another practice because during my last session with him he was trying to talk me into invisalign for some teeth that shifted due to night time grinding. Since I had already had braces as a child I didn't want to commit to a treatment right then and there. Within seconds he turned plain nasty, downright catty in fact. He had placed the handheld mirror on my lap after he was pushing the Invisalign on me. The mirror fell fell when I shifted in the chair and OMG. He was so mad and said in taunting way I dropped his mirror. Not sure if he was having a bad day but I was appalled by his behavior. I had temporarily gone to another Dr there but she left the practice which seems to be the norm since they have Dentists who don't stay very long so it would be hard to build a long term relationship with any dentist ms there except Amanda who i think is his wife. I haven't been to Dr. Cho in like 4 years or something but there's a good reason for that: the last time I went, it was for a tooth sensitivity issue and he claimed in order to stop it, he would have to drill a larger hole just to fill it. He then proceeded to jam the dental pick right into the sensitive hole which not only hurt like crazy but made me cry and have a panic attack in the dental chair. Needless to say he was condescending as usual and I never went back since. I then had found another random dentist closer to where I live and he was able to quickly patch up my sensitive teeth and I've not had a problem since. I always thought you "get what you pay for" with doctors/dentists but here is not the case. One of the hygenists once told me that they never hire anyone full time so that they don't have to pay them benefits. This is why I would constantly get a different hygienist every time I went in for my cleaning. I've also had times where I'd make an appointment with Dr. Cho but another doctor would see me for no reason because he was "busy with others" like ok but I made this appointment weeks ago what gives? Anyway I'm glad I don't come here anymore and if you ever felt uncomfortable you shouldn't continue going here either. read more

A few years ago now, I went to make an appointment with Dr. Cho at his previous practice, Dr. Stephen Lim and Associates... Imagine my surprise when they told me that he was no longer with the practice and no, they wouldn't give me anymore information on his whereabouts. ....it speaks VOLUMES about the quality of care that Dr. Cho gives that, instead of taking an appointment with another available dentist, I promptly hung up the phone and started searching the web for Dr. Cho. I finally found him at Meridian Dental Group, a new practice he had just opened with his wife. The new office itself is bright, modern, warm, and friendly and Dr. Cho is just as awesome as I remember. He has a very calming presence and is very careful to cause the least amount of pain possible while examining and cleaning your teeth. One last word to the wise - if my exhaustive internet search to follow my dentist years ago didn't convince you he's worth it, perhaps the fact that I've referred several coworkers will convince you. No? Well then how about the fact that I now live on Long Island (God help me) and still come into the city to see Dr. Cho? Dr. Cho is a good doctor. But I would encourage Yelp users to be a bit skeptical. Be skeptical of mostly glowing reviews, and overly negative reviews. The office is clean, the staff mostly friendly, the equipment up to date. This should be the norm, rather than the exception. In some ways, our standards have dipped so low that anyone above par seems extraordinary. A dentist should have a solid bedside manner, and competency. This dentist seems to have both. There's a but: I do not want to schedule three or four months in advance because a dentist is popular. Check Zocdoc. Bad teeth is something that I unfortunately inherited. This includes root canals, crowns, impacts, a bridge, cavities, etc. I have always had a very close relationship with my dentist due to frequent visits to ensure my teeth remain healthy and my smile gleaming. When I moved to NY 4 yrs ago, I blindly searched to find a practice that I could rebuild a relationship. I found Meridian Dental and Dr. Cho through YELP. On my first visit, I absorbed all that is provided through this practice and felt really good. As I continued visiting, I felt so at home and I enjoy going to the dentist. The practice/office is spotless and their equipment is up to date I never have to wait in a lobby HULU in the chair is a plus Same staff, since I began, that recognize my voice when I call! Staff retention really speaks to excellence in management. Office staff always do all the dirty work with my insurance provider Dr. Cho goes above and beyond by educating me on current state and action plans to keep my teeth healthy and beautiful. Even though I always follow his advise, he provides options on next steps so you can make an educated decision on how you want your needs handled. I NEVER feel the anesthesia injection! He works with extreme accuracy and can accomplish a lot in each or any visit. The finished product is nothing but the best! I truly lucked out finding Dr. Cho. Dr. Cho and staff are wonderful and i'll just try to highlight some of the key points that makes this practice so great. I've been a patient for a number of years, but this is my first review following my latest appointment b/c this experience really made me appreciate them. 1. WHAT NEEDLE? There's something to be said about getting stuck with a needle and never knowing it. I've had plenty of shots performed over my years, but this was the FIRST time that I actually didn't feel the needle. I'm not afraid of needles and know when i'm getting stuck, but this time...nada....How Dr. Cho does this is still a quandry for me. If you're afraid of needles, he's the man to go to. 2. KEEPING YOU INFORMED They tell you what they're doing and why they're doing it. And...they use laypersons terms. Never did I realize more of what was going on in my mouth until now. Not only did I get my issue resolved (big big filling replacement that is being upgraded to a crown - upgrade? yea i suppose it is), but was educated in the process! How many 'professionals' have you come across that are condescending and don't take the time and effort to help you understand? Not here. These guys and gals are awesome. 3. DIGITIZE ME The office is fully modern and digital. Not only from the 'round-the-world' thing they have in the back that takes a full head scan -really cool by the way- to the intra-oral camera that was used to take snapshots of the crater that my filling was covering; but the fact that Dr. Cho had the digital history of my teeth, he called up the problem tooth and talked through what we had been done historically with it. To be able to get a history like that is awesome and really gives me the confidence that not only was he looking to take care of the current issue at hand, but to really understand the history of my teeth. Sounds kinda geeky, but how often do you walk into a place thinking they know much about you, but realize that they don't anything! 4. CHOICES This goes with (2) above, but it goes down into helping me make a choice of what I want to do. Dr. Cho, by keeping me informed and educated also allowed me to understand what options I had for treatment. Didn't realize there could be so much, but we talked about the various technologies and the pros/cons of each to help me make a better decision not just based on one factor (e.g, price), but on others including longetivity, strength, and comfort amongst them. 5. COMFORT Now really, how comfortable are we going to a dental office and hearing drilling, etc.? Well, at Meridian, they really focus on the comfort factor. Let alone all the things I wrote above about how satisfied I was, but throw in the other things like the digital monitors with hulu and web surfing and you've got a relaxed environment that really transforms the dental experience. She is very skilled and great at what she does, the office uses state of the art techniques and equipment ( not one of those smelly old dentist offices), and she is kind and personable. I highly recommend Dr. Cho, enough so that I even followed him from his old office to this new practice that he opened up with his wife, Dr. Chan. During my first visit with Dr. Cho, I was a little wary that I was seeing a "lesser" dentist because the dentist who owned the practice was not available to see me at the last minute. I'm sure the other dentist is wonderful, but I'm so glad to have become a patient of Dr. Cho. Dr. Cho has always made me feel very comfortable, plus he is extremely thorough and meticulous about his work, making sure every detail of a procedure is done properly before he'll let me out of the chair. I also really appreciate that he never tried to sell me unnecessary procedures; in fact, I was the one asking for them! I love Dr. Cho. He does the most beautiful fillings. If I need a very difficult filling done, I'll go back to him. The man's an artist. But there are two kinds of dentists: one that addresses every little cavity as soon as possible and one that addresses cavities when it becomes a problem. Dr. Cho would be the first kind. And I found out later on that that might not be such a great idea because fillings are never as strong as real teeth, being that it's bone. So if you have a lot of fillings, like I do, your teeth will overall become very weak. Another unfortunate matter is this practice has some of the highest prices and doesn't take some dental insurance. I had a difficult time keeping Meridian and Dr. Cho because they didn't take my insurance at my new job. As for customer service, it depends who's at the desk. Four years ago, the girls were good. After the office renovated, like two years ago, the staff was impersonal and unfriendly like the girl with the glasses that gets you to pay at the end who doesn't bother to crack a smile. Maybe Meridian is getting bourgeois. But for me and doctor's offices, it's the quality of the work and the kindness of the staff that gets me to return. I've only seen Dr. Cho & Dr. Chan, they both are informative, not intimidating, and give good feedback on my teeth. You can tell they have a lot of patients, because you have to make your appointment 2 months ahead in advance for just a cleaning. The front desk staff is also nice and will call you if an earlier appointment opens up. They also send appointment reminders via text/email. Clean/modern office. Hulu is up on the screen as they work on your oral cavity. Only thing that I didn't feel up to par about is that hygienists don't do a thorough job/cleaning, maybe because they're young/new? I'd definitely recommend him for anyone looking for a dentist with fine skills, attentive bedside manner, a lot of experience and willingness to explain through every step of the procedure with patience. I had a deep cavity close to the roots in my molar and was extremely nervous about it. I must have grilled Dr. Cho with a million questions, and he answered every one of them with thoroughness. I was leaning towards having a root canal in case a crown doesn't work. But Dr. Cho. insisted on a more conservative treatment with a crown and reassured me that it will be fine based on his experience with past patients. I'm so glad that I took his advise, as the crown is now working fantastically, and the whole procedure was painless and trauma-free. I researched online and read wonderful reviews about Dr. Cho and his staff at Meridian Dental Group, so I decided to book an appointment. I must say that they are the nicest, most professional people. Dr. Cho came in to exam me, and he explained everything in great detail, and really made me feel comfortable. He really knows his craft. I was due for a cleaning and was really impressed with their dental hygienist. She was so sweet and funny, she worked quickly and made sure to explain things as she went along. The facility is immaculate and very chic in decor. The front desk receptionist was a doll, and got my paperwork entered quickly and I didn't even have to wait 5 minutes. I would recommend Dr. Cho to anyone looking for a dentist. I used to use the Madison Dental Group, but I had such a terrible experience with them (my dentist missed my appointment twice!) I moved to Dr. Cho. Their technology is top notch, and Dr. Cho actually does a great job of making you feel comfortable and explaining the process along the way. On one visit he told me I had 2 cavities potentially developing and in the past I would think my dentist is just trying to drum up unnecessary business because I couldn't really feel it. I have nothing but great things to say about them. I just had my wisdom teeth removed today with Sr. Cho, and he did such a good job that I didn't feel any pain during the entire process, not before and not after (not even now). It could be because of the teeth were in a good position to remove, but the way he does it was so gentle and he makes sure you understand the entire process which just makes you feel so not anxious - on a dentist chair!! The team there is really friendly and responsive as well! I had a treatment plan for me and they sent me PDF of the entire plan with the expected expenses, and they answer all kinds of questions you have. I had terrible TMJ pain and Dr. Chan recommended that I have my teeth straightened with Invisalign to help alleviate the pain. Although I was skeptical after years of pain and trouble eating, I agreed to try it. It turns out she was completely right. I was referred to Dr. Cho by a coworker, and I cannot say enough good things about my experience at Meridian Dental Group. I now live in New Jersey, and gladly commute into the city (about 1 hour) to go to MDG for my regular cleanings and check-ups. The office is new and clean, with top-of-the-line equipment. I love that you can watch 'The Office' while you get your teeth cleaned. Dr. Cho is extremely pleasant, and takes the time to explain everything to you, including the options you have for treatment. Also, I have never had to wait for more than 5 minutes in the waiting room...even though they have the good gossip mags. Quite simply the best experience ever! A beautifully clean Zen-like atmosphere with all the latest hi-tech dental equipment, and experienced dentist. You'll be treated to a spa-like experience for your teeth. They sized me up in minutes. I never had a cleaning that was so painless. I needed to find a new dentist after recently moving to the city and I made an appointment at Meridian Dental Group based on the good yelp reviews. It's also conveniently located near my work so that's a plus. My experience with them was great. I actually arrived 5-10 minutes late due to train traffic so I was worried that I would have to sit in the waiting room forever but when I got there all they needed from me was to sign a couple insurance forms and they took me back right away. It was so fast and painless. The dentist even went over all my x-rays with me and explained what we were looking at and anything that she thought needed extra care. Perfect convenient Midtown location. Small, very clean office with great staff. TVs with Hulu that you can watch before/during/after your appointment/procedures - amazing. I've seen a few dentists in the city and finally found the one! Everyone there was so kind and helpful. I have (had!) a fear of the dentist from a bad experience in Seattle a few years ago, but everyone here put my fears to rest. They would explain what they were going to do before they did it, and didn't look upset or annoyed if I freaked out a bit and needed a break. I had my first crown put in here and I was surprised at how relaxed and painless the whole procedure was here! I found out about Meridien Dental Group from a co-worker about three years ago, and was impressed by the quality of the office, service, and promptness they provide. They have, as one reviewer writes, TVs with shows which they offer you in case you want to be distracted. Although this is a cool feature, it's really not good to watch something like a comedy and want to laugh while drilling is going on in your mouth. What really blew me away was the technology they have which has x-rays almost instantly uploaded to the computer, and these show you exactly where in your mouth a problem is, if there is one. I guess my last dentist was old-school and had all those little negatives separately on the table when he needed to see what was going on in my mouth. Over the years, I have had visits with Dr. Chan, her husband and business partner, Dr. Cho, and another dentist, Dr. Soeprono. All three are excellent dentists, very respectful of a patient's fears, and willing to work with a patient when there is a disagreement about how treatment should proceed. In fact, I've had Dr. Chan advocate for "seeing how it goes" with a tooth, instead of wanting to do an immediate root canal or extraction. I did have to have a root canal last year, and Dr. Soeprono worked on that. He was very precise, careful about my sensitive teeth, and took great pains to make sure that the tooth was absolutely sterile and ready for the procedure, even if it took one more visit that usual. There's always great music playing, courtesy of Dr. Cho, and Dr. Chan always greets you with a smile...plus she really listens to you after she says, "and how are we doing?" I never feel rushed, and there's only been on instance (someone had an emergency) when I had to wait for 15 minutes. Most times, I'm whisked in on the dot of my appointment time. They run a clean tight ship, and I'm glad I found them. My most recent visit was for a cleaning, and Jodie, the hygienist was wonderful about some of my teeth being very sensitive. She actually hand-scaled those, which i know takes more time and effort than just running the scaling machine over and around a tooth. I don't know why one of the other reviewers said their hygienist caused her mouth to bleed, but I've never had an experience like that at Meridien. I give this dental group five stars, because even if (as another reviewer said) we should expect great service and not elevate everyone just because they give the quality of service we should have...the reality is, we hardly ever get that level of service as a rule, so why not give kudos when you find it? Lastly, the office is being expanded this month, so they're working with construction going on where the old office used to be. Despite that, the place is still as clean as can be, and the staff as friendly as they were when they didn't have to deal with construction and drilling noises and smells all day. read more

After a poor experience at another a different dental office, I scheduled a last minute appointment for a second opinion visit and will now be transferring my care to Meridian Dental Group. The staff and doctors are very welcoming and friendly. The office was aesthetically pleasing and clean. Dr. Choi and the hygienist took their time and were very thorough during the appointment. They were both very professional and took the time to build patient rapport and answer questions. I loved my experience and the hygentists and dentists at Meridian Dental Group. I recommended them to a handful of friends who are now their patients. However, I do want to suggest if patients are recommended for highly expensive procedures or products, to get a second opinion. I complained about gum sensitivity. From then on out, they pushed (for 2 or 3 visits) a skin graphing procedure to fix the issue. A very painful and expensive procedure. They said my teeth would eventually fall out if I didn't do it. Scary! Also, the oral surgeon shares office space with them so I am sure the dentists were getting some type of financial kick-back from him or her. I relocated to another city and got not one but two other opinions about this and both dentists did not agree with the recommendation at all. They thought the procedure was a last resort move and offered a handful of other solutions. I was never offered other solutions by Meridian Dental Group. I ended up getting a mouthguard which immediately fixed the problem and I have yet to lose any teeth. Again, great dentist office but buyer beware. read more

I have been seeing Dr. Cho for more than three years now. I've been to only one other dentist in the city, and I plan to stay with Dr. Cho as long as I'm working in the area. I have recommended him to friends and family. Pros: (1) The modern equipment in this office makes the experience much better. I'm not talking about TVs or anything like that, but rather the use of digital imaging and other health technology. It gives me more confidence that the techniques being used are up-to-date, and it makes it easier for me to understand my treatment. (2) The office is spotless and seems remarkably organized and well-run. (Of course this should be the norm, but in my experience it isn't.) (3) Dr. Cho is smart, knowledgable and up-to-date. He also has a good manner with patients. (It's true that he now only pops in for consultations and handles emergency, non-cleaning matters. But this hasn't been an issue for me.) (4) The location is insanely convenient for me (5) They take my insurance, and it has always gone smoothly. (6) The appointments staff has always been extremely friendly, something that I have found to be a rarity in New York. Average: (1) The cleaning is fine. It's nothing special, but it's speedy and not painful. (2) I suppose it's true that cleaning appointments need to be made far in advance. But I don't have a problem with this. I schedule cleanings every six months. The one time I had an semi-emergency, a small chip in my tooth, I was able to get in right away. read more

Best dentist i've been too. After a horrible experience with another dentist, a coworker referred me to Dr. Soeprono. My previous dentist had messed up my root canal and caused serious damage. Dr. Soeprono not only explained all my options but let me know either way he was going to fix it. Almost 2 years later I have yet to have a bad experience here. Hands down best dentist I have ever been too. Dr. Cho keeps the place super clean so you know he'll do same for your mouth! Very upbeat and knowledgable staff will make this dentist trip a memorable one and definitely in a good way. Very friendly Recel gave me great tips on how to clean those hard to reach molars in the back. Trick is to move your lower jaw to one side freeing up some space for your toothbrush to go to work! If there's something strange going on with your teeth, who you gonna call? Meridian Dental Group! I've worked across the street from this office for many years and have never had the inclination to change dentists because c'mon, they're all the same right. Wrong! I finally heeded my colleagues' advice and went for a cleaning during lunch time. It was the most thorough cleaning I've ever had; each tooth was carefully flossed and cleaned all while I was watching Netflix. Yup, didn't gag, wasn't in pain nor did I wish it were over quickly. X rays were easy too. The office is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and super clean/modern. I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Cho. From that first visit, I knew I had to let go of my other dentist. He kept calling me and for many months, I had ghosted him until I finally told him I moved and found someone else *cue heartbreaker song*. Fast forward to an issue I've been having with a particular tooth/crown. It was bleeding and hurting; quite frankly ex-dentist #1 didn't do a good job. He placed an"mushroom" cap which lead to me not being able to floss the tooth properly. I entrusted Dr. Cho to fix the issue. They would use their super state of the art technology to create a custom crown. The one Dr Cho created fit like a charm and I was able to floss properly after. It was all done in about 30 minutes all while I was watching Netflix again. Fast forward a year later, the same tooth was dying and I needed an emergency root canal. I came to the office for an emergency visit, Dr Cho saw me immediately, prescribed antibiotics and scheduled an emergency root canal the next morning (meanwhile the office followed up with my insurance to obtain an estimate for me). The next morning, I meet Dr. Shin who immediately puts me at ease. I told her the last root canal I had under my family dentist, I felt the entire procedure even though I was numbed. She assured me she would numb me well enough. And she did! She also put a "latex net" to cover the surrounding teeth during the procedure (it's the little details that show how careful and attentive they are). Thirty minutes and a Big Bang theory episode later, I'm done. Pain free. And relieved that the numerous issues I've had with this tooth over the past decade are finally behind me. About a week later, my partner experienced a similar tooth infection. I return for a routine check up and tell them about his pain. Dr Chan personally reached out to their in house endodontist who was on vacation and scheduled an emergency session for him all the while being in communication with me on text over the weekend. We were so appreciative! He was scheduled for a tooth extraction a few days later. I have never had such pleasant experiences with a dental office: from the dentists to the front office to the PAs to the billing. Everyone is a true pleasure to work with and really go above and beyond. I recently moved out of state and refuse to find another dental office. I rather fly back to see you guys. Outstanding dental practice that goes above and beyond. Dr. Melissa Choi is absolutely amazing, and everyone who works at the office is professional and pleasant. I've had all kinds of dental work done here - from rebuilding a crown to cleanings - and it's always handled well. Dr. Choi has been kind enough to fit me in at odd hours when I've had emergency needs arise, making sure that unexplained dental pain was addressed, or when my schedule required extensive travel. It helps to be able to watch TV while they're working on one's teeth, as well! I've referred several friends and newly relocated people to NYC to this practice because it's so great. I started coming to Meridian because Dr. Cho used to practice at Dr. Lim's office when I was a patient there. I was amazingly surprise how good of a dentist he was. He's patience, detail-oriented and did an exceptional job in all my fillings. So when he and his wife opened their own dentist office a few years ago, it was my to-go dentist. The facility is clean, modern and high tech. Staff was also nice and helpful. There were times when Dr. Cho was unavailable to see me, however the other 2 doctors that examined me were just as good. I've been to other facilities before and they do not deliver to my expectation as Meridian does. Their recent office expansion signifies their overall growth. They used to only open M-F 9am-5p, which was tough as I used to work in downtown, but because I think they're worth it that I would leave work early to go see them. Try not to be late, one time I was 20 minutes late (due to the train) and end up getting half my check-up done which was upsetting to me but at the end it was my fault. This is also the reason why overall wait time is great, at most is 5 minutes as they would not overbook or overlap appointments. read more
