This is a cool location that has both indoor and outdoor seating. There's a water station and treats jar for dogs! They have card games to enjoy. The staff are nice amd friendly. There's non-alcoholic drink options such as the kombucha which was good.

A classic brewery with traditional German style beer! I love being able to offer a flight. Right next to an amazing restaurant with excellent food options. We went when a live band was playing too. I cannot wait to go back.

Been coming to Enegren the last few years. Over time, they have expanded and there are many tables outside We bring food/snacks. Family friendly, there are always families with kids. It's not like most breweries, my friends bring their wives. Haha Beers are cheaper than other breweries. Unfortunately they don't do ipas. (Well they did one time, lol) Nor stouts. They focus on German beers. Togo options. 4packs are $12-14. Which is good priced. Only one stall for men and one for women. Considering how many people visit, they need more bathrooms.

My husband and I discovered Enegren last week, on a warm, sunny, kid free afternoon. We were looking for somewhere to day drink- because let me tell you something - work has been wild lately, and a 11am beer was very much called for. Enegren is located in Moorpark, in a rather business/industrial looking street. Don't let the neighbors (including CHP and CalTrans) fool you, just continue to the very end of the road where you will be greeted by Enegren and their Alleyway, which they share with a wine bar, coffee shop, and food joint (we had their fried cheese curds ---highly recommended!). I tried their Schöner Tag and High St. Lager and enjoyed them both. Prices were very fair, and service was welcoming and friendly. They have a nice indoor area, as well as joint seating in the alley (it looks like it can get very sunny during the summer, but we found a nice shady spot). Regardless of where you sit you can watch the workers brew, and smell the hops. It was a lovely place to sit and watch the world go by for an hour or so. They also have a small reading nook, "take a book leave a book" free library, and several board games.

Great brewery with some really high quality beers. Limited selection, but they are all really good. Brewery is right there in the open, operating while you watch. Atmosphere is phenomenal. There is some inside seating and a great patio in front with picnic tables. No food, but there is a small food place next door and food truck sometimes.

    Spring decorations for Frulingsfest.

My friend said her BBQ salad looked like cans of beans and corn were just thrown on top and they didn't chop up the lettuce, leaving her with huge inedible chunks. To top it off the amount of dressing they gave her wasn't even enough to cover the salad. Another friend had the steak salad and the steak was so tough she needed a saw to cut through the pieces. The food and cocktails were excellent, and it's clear the restaurant is striving to create an elevated dining experience. One thing that stood out was how thoughtful and inventive the menu felt. You can tell the chef has put a lot of creativity and care into the dishes, balancing familiar favorites with unique twists. It's definitely a cool and welcome addition to the Moorpark dining scene. We particularly enjoyed the Tropical Bird, Emma's Punch, Lemon Drop, and Mango Margarita Mocktail. The Crispy Calamari Strips were a great starter. For entrees, we enjoyed the Lamb Ragu, Parmesan Chicken Milanese, and Wild Mushroom Risotto with added chicken. All were all flavorful, beautifully prepared, and well-executed. The servings were huge (awesome!) and we had leftovers to enjoy the following day. The reason for the 4-star rating comes down to service details. While waiting to be acknowledged, we were overlooked by the hostess for other guests entering even though we were standing right in front of the host stand. Not a big deal, but didn't love the eye roll the hostess gave when I politely piped up that we had been waiting. Was not a great first impression. While our server was wonderful and friendly, there were several moments where empty plates and glasses accumulated on our table for an extended period of time. Our entrees arrived while many of our appetizer dishes and drink glasses were still sitting on the table. With several staff members circulating throughout the dining room, it felt like an opportunity was missed to provide the attentive table maintenance you'd expect from a restaurant aspiring to a fine dining level of service. These were relatively minor issues and seem more related to training and coordination than a lack of effort. The food, drinks, and atmosphere were all very good, and with a little more polish from the support staff and greeters, I think M on High Street could truly become the upscale dining experience it's aiming to be. We'd definitely return and look forward to seeing it continue to grow.

Would not take order of first round of drinks without looking at our ID's. My wife and I are in our sixties, it was embarrassing because they made a huge production out of it. (No other patrons that I saw were subject to this scrutiny) The Ugly: we each had one drink and shared two yellow tail sashimi starters. Upon asking for another round we were rather surprised to find out our party was cut off from the bar. Water and bread only. The sashimi eaten we took the indignation in stride and decided to wait until the barmaid deemed it acceptable to serve us again. Now it gets bad, one of our party became ill and threw up in the bathroom, before we could even find out what was going on with her, barmaid from hell publicly informed us because one of our party was ill we were permanently cut off from the bar. Not considering the food as the culprit of said illness at all. My wife began to feel sick as well and we paid and left. She had trouble walking, speaking and breathing. She became violently ill and the smell of bad fish was overwhelming. I have a portable breathalyzer for guests to use at my home to ensure their safety if they drink. My BAC - .023 , my wife's was .024 obviously not intoxicated. Shame on M on High for such poor judgement and embarrassing their patrons. Avoiding this restaurant is going to be so easy as there's a plethora of good restaurants in the area. This is my experience, the Good, the Bad and, The UGLY.

Our last visit was during Mother's Day weekend, so we thought to come for brunch on Father's Day. It was busy when we arrived, but the host team managed the flow of customers very well. While being seated, the timing of the next reservation was mentioned, allotting an hour and a half for our time there. This was more than enough, and we were graciously thanked for our understanding. Shortly after, Danielle came to greet us, apologized for the previous dining experience and showed sincere appreciation for having us again. We had two servers for our section, Nathan being our primary one, but as before, we felt the entire team worked exceptionally well in taking care of customers. We started with the Focaccia Rustico which was the best part of our last meal. This arrived heavily toasted. We prefer the softer version from our dinner, but it was still very good. The husband was eager to try the French Dip, and it did not disappoint. The sandwich had the perfect ratio of meat to bread. The au jus was flavorful, along with the horseradish spread. The fries were, hot, crisp and nicely seasoned. I ordered the Dutch Baby. It arrived freshly made in the cast iron pan, with sides of butter, syrup and berry compote. This was my first time having the German pancake and it was delicious! It will now be on my radar when having brunch elsewhere, but Freda's is the standard that others will follow. Team members checked on us often, as they did with other customers. Danielle stopped by a couple more times. We were thanked again, as we left, for giving them another chance. After cutting it in half the center looked firm and somewhat dry. It tasted a bit bland but after putting extra marinara sauce on it greatly improved the taste. The shrimp was ok but it did not stand out. The portions of both seemed small, probably adjusted due to the special menu. The bread that came with the dishes were good, warm and toasty. I really enjoyed the French Dip, the prime rib was tender, and the au jus and horseradish sauce enhanced the flavor. However the horseradish sauce didn't have the kick I was anticipating, so maybe more "horse" or more "radish"? Mediterranean chicken was also delicious. The fries were thin and crispy. Mimosa was refreshing. Service was great, our server Stephen was attentive and checked on us often. Overall it was an enjoyable first experience.
