the amber ale tends to be my favorite! plenty of space for seating, restaurants across where u can order pizza and pick up.

Flight of six beers

A classic brewery with traditional German style beer! I love being able to offer a flight. Right next to an amazing restaurant with excellent food options. We went when a live band was playing too. I cannot wait to go back.

This is a cool location that has both indoor and outdoor seating. There's a water station and treats jar for dogs! They have card games to enjoy. The staff are nice amd friendly. There's non-alcoholic drink options such as the kombucha which was good.

Been coming to Enegren the last few years. Over time, they have expanded and there are many tables outside We bring food/snacks. Family friendly, there are always families with kids. It's not like most breweries, my friends bring their wives. Haha Beers are cheaper than other breweries. Unfortunately they don't do ipas. (Well they did one time, lol) Nor stouts. They focus on German beers. Togo options. 4packs are $12-14. Which is good priced. Only one stall for men and one for women. Considering how many people visit, they need more bathrooms.

My husband and I discovered Enegren last week, on a warm, sunny, kid free afternoon. We were looking for somewhere to day drink- because let me tell you something - work has been wild lately, and a 11am beer was very much called for. Enegren is located in Moorpark, in a rather business/industrial looking street. Don't let the neighbors (including CHP and CalTrans) fool you, just continue to the very end of the road where you will be greeted by Enegren and their Alleyway, which they share with a wine bar, coffee shop, and food joint (we had their fried cheese curds ---highly recommended!). I tried their Schöner Tag and High St. Lager and enjoyed them both. Prices were very fair, and service was welcoming and friendly. They have a nice indoor area, as well as joint seating in the alley (it looks like it can get very sunny during the summer, but we found a nice shady spot). Regardless of where you sit you can watch the workers brew, and smell the hops. It was a lovely place to sit and watch the world go by for an hour or so. They also have a small reading nook, "take a book leave a book" free library, and several board games.

Great brewery with some really high quality beers. Limited selection, but they are all really good. Brewery is right there in the open, operating while you watch. Atmosphere is phenomenal. There is some inside seating and a great patio in front with picnic tables. No food, but there is a small food place next door and food truck sometimes.

Disclaimer - I am not a beer drinker; that would be Dear Hubby in our family. That being said, we are so impressed with the local juggernaut that Energren is becoming. Their facility takes up a full side of "The Alley" on Zachary Street. They brew on premises, serving up German-style beer in a variety of flavors. They're also the hub of activities in The Alley, which includes live music every weekend. There are several bar areas inside Energren's space, with adjacent tables outside in the shared spaces. Their production facilities feature shiny storage tanks and numerous pallets of finished product ready to ship. It's serious business, with room for fun and festivities. This weekend (4/22 & 4/23/23), they're sponsoring Frühlingsfest, a German-style spring festival with many activities for the whole family. Based on what we experienced last night, I can imagine that their Oktoberfest would be epic. Festival or no, it's a great local business offering entertainment and relaxation for the community to enjoy. And lots of beer!

Enegren Brewing Company is the champion of holding stellar events and festivals. I'll give them that! As a brewery the host a few awesome big events throughout the year and are definitely known to deliver a fun packed day. The layout of Enegren I also like as they have plenty of seating and it's not stuffy. The alleyway to the brewery has a few shops so it's nice to grab a beer and to go for a little exploring. This spot has a nice open concept and the atmosphere is welcoming. I appreciate how organized they are for their events. We just came to their spring festival and they went all out. Again, super organized and reasonable prices. You didn't even have to pay to go in. They sold drink tokens which was smart and easy. The food stalls they also had were wonderful from pretzels to bratwurst. Their events have security hired and it just feels safe. I commend them for holding A+ events and festivals because they are definitely a notch above the rest. The bar staff and event staff are also super nice here. Not pretentious and all good vibes 100%. Felt welcomed and the vibes were right. The reason I dock a star is because genuinely I am not a big fan of their beers. It pains me to write that, as they are a brewery. But I had to agree with some of the other 3-4 star reviews I read about people just not being sold on their beers. I feel the same way. I've tried at least five different beers from Enegren and I thought they all were just "ok". I've even bought their beers from the supermarket and struggled to get through a pack. I don't find the flavors to work with my pallet but it's ironic because I drink all types of beers and don't feel like I'm that picky. All in all I'll continue to support Enegren when they host events and festivals as they do a damn good job. They go all out and provide a fun time. Also, they seem to be very family friendly. This isn't a selling point for me as a child free millennial LOL BUT it was cool to see so many families enjoyed themselves and feeling comfortable to bring their kids. So If you can't find a sitter you are A-ok here.

Awesome German brewery in a cool alley setup with food directly across the street + wine + shopping. Indoor and outdoor seating. Beer options are all German, different sizes, including flights. Order at the bar and grab a seat. Food across the way was tasty or BYOF. Large parking lot. Reasonable prices. Overall if you are looking for good German beer, a cool ambiance, and food...check this place out!

Great architecture and decor as we walked up from the parking lot.staff greeted us offering inside of Al fresco dining, because the weather has been spectacular we chose to sit outside. A local duo was setting up for music outside which made the Al Fresco even better, we chose to order drinks and food of of the happy hour menu as well as the regular menu. Drinks were fabulous and loved the happy hour prices, they were short staffed that evening but we didn't mind because our server covered the entire exterior on her own and the the music made the evening more delightful. Once our food came out all the dishes were tasty and plenty. We enjoyed every bit of The Ranch and we will be returning again very soon. Well done The Ranch we now have a favorite summer spot..... Never received anything walkout after being therefore an hour. No excuse for this especially when they acknowledged my presence. Service was so bad even the bartender had an attitude and seemed as if he, and the entire staff wanted to be elsewhere. NO organization, free for all. Too many kids running around unsupervised in the bar. The band was at best a poor karaoke cover band.

We honestly were not sure if we wanted to make the drive to Moorpark again, but given Phil's extended efforts, we felt it was only right to give Freda's another try. Our last visit was during Mother's Day weekend, so we thought to come for brunch on Father's Day. It was busy when we arrived, but the host team managed the flow of customers very well. While being seated, the timing of the next reservation was mentioned, allotting an hour and a half for our time there. This was more than enough, and we were graciously thanked for our understanding. Shortly after, Danielle came to greet us, apologized for the previous dining experience and showed sincere appreciation for having us again. We had two servers for our section, Nathan being our primary one, but as before, we felt the entire team worked exceptionally well in taking care of customers. We started with the Focaccia Rustico which was the best part of our last meal. This arrived heavily toasted. We prefer the softer version from our dinner, but it was still very good. The husband was eager to try the French Dip, and it did not disappoint. The sandwich had the perfect ratio of meat to bread. The au jus was flavorful, along with the horseradish spread. The fries were, hot, crisp and nicely seasoned. I ordered the Dutch Baby. It arrived freshly made in the cast iron pan, with sides of butter, syrup and berry compote. This was my first time having the German pancake and it was delicious! It will now be on my radar when having brunch elsewhere, but Freda's is the standard that others will follow. Team members checked on us often, as they did with other customers. Danielle stopped by a couple more times. We were thanked again, as we left, for giving them another chance. It was a great experience from beginning to end and a testament to Freda's dedication to customer satisfaction. We'll be back. :)

They are part of the InKind app where you pay with the app and earn rewards. The exterior reminds me of a house where you would sit outside with a cold glass of sweet tea in the summer time. We opted to sit inside as it was a little warm outside, but I kind of regretted it as the breeze kept the temp down. Anyways, the service here was great and friendly. We started out with the french onion soup and meatballs. Both dishes were really good. The meatballs sat in a nice marinara sauce and it was firm, not mushy in the middle. Flavor was good and the marinara was really good. The french onion soup was a little bit salty, but not to the point where you can't eat it. I like the texture of the cheese and it had a nice pull. The steak frites and Chicken Scallopini was also good. Though, I did find the pasta to be a little bland and I could just taste mostly butter. Could have used a little more seasoning for sure. The steak frittes was really good. It came out medium rare and pre-sliced. I really liked the fries. They were fried to a perfect crispiness and seasoned very well IMO. The steak was a little under-seasoned, but a little salt and pepper did the trick. The chimichurri was a good compliment to the dish. Overall, I enjoyed the food here. The drinks could have been better, but that was secondary.

Let's s talk about the food, very good for a Pub scene, food was plenty and came out hot. The French Dip had plenty of moist beef in it with a great Au Jus, burger was cooked to perfection and the smashed chicken sandwich was amazing. Plenty of choices of beer featuring local breweries as well as the standard go to's. We got there before the dinner crowd got there and it filled in fast. Much to my surprise, it was about as lively as I had remembered it. The Alley was established during Covid times and offered a retreat to escape from the humdrum of the homestead. These days, its friendly vibe welcomes neighbors and visitors with a backyard setting strewn with twinkle lights and family-style tables. It's a causal scene and easy to soak in the live music, sunlight/moonlight, and neighborly banter. The layout resembles an alley with shops on either side, big open doors invite you to grab something to eat, sample a drink, or shop for handmade gifts. On one side, you've got craft brews and coffee roasters. On the other side, it's local wines and piping hot pizzas. Dogs are welcome all around. At the center of it all, there's live music on the weekends. As a self-proclaimed wino, I opted for a sampling of the Lucas Sellers Wines. Ashley, who was behind the bar and top of the pours, gave me good suggestions and offered anecdotes about each wine on tap.
