Fajita torta , charro beans and a coke
    Rene F.

Had lunch at this spot and ordered a fajita torta with some charro beans. The fajita torta was really good and the bread was soft. The charro beans were delicious too. I'll be back again to try out other menu items.

This place has become our family's new go to taqueria. I think we go at least once a week. Very small place so don't expect to dine in during covid. I've seen three people work here and only one is super fluent in English. The other two may not be as fluent but still no problem in getting your menu across! I've mostly gone for their breakfast tacos and have had their chorizo, potato and egg, ham and egg, and mexican egg(like scrambled eggs with bell peppers and onions and stuff; it was vegetarian). The tacos are made to order starting with warming up their tortilla fresh so when you add the cheese in, it melts perfectly. For lunch or dinner, I've had their pastor taco, shrimp taco, and chicken quesadilla. Again, everything is made fresh. The meats are juicy but not too fatty. I've always ordered at least 4 things every time I went but never have spent more than $10.

Eh it was okay, truly just okay. It's cute and well decorated. Very cozy and they have a quick like buffet type thing. I got the enchiladas and I did not like the chicken. It was dry and the tortillas were like undercooked. The rice tasted like it was just reheated because it was slightly crunchy and stuck together. It was good but definitely leftovers. The beans were good, in general my plate was just okay. I ate it but like it wasn't that great u know. My boyfriend got the mini tacos and said the same thing basically that it was just okay. Staff was friendly. idk just wouldn't go back there's a lot better mexican places in houston.

Super good, super authentic. Everything is delicious. Had chicken tacos and pork and cactus tacos. The service is great and the food is fresh, even the tortillas and salsas are house made. Highly recommend Taqueria Los Jaimes.

went here for the 1st time & was pleasantly surprised. the tortillas are handmade & make the tacos taste even better! i had an bacon & egg taco in a flour tortilla & it was sooo good! my friend, who is a picky eater, had beef fajitas with onions & cilantro in flour tortillas, & couldn't believe how wonderful they were. the people working there are so nice & made the place so happy. such a great find. we'll be back!!

Very very good place,I've tried pretty much all They're tacos on the menu, tortas and enchilada plate and they are all DELICIOUS...they are very fast, and you get to see them cook right in front of you ( no surprises, what you see is what you get ) You'll find the same great consistency every time you order from them, taco meats are tender, juicy and packed with flavor also make sure to try the red and green sauce

Omg, I just had the best breakfast tacos. They were so good we order some asada and carnitas tacos to go. You don't get this good if stuff being from Ky. They even had Fresca!

Everything was very fresh tasting. I got 4 breakfast tacos. Potato and egg. We stood right there and watched her cook our entire order.

For drinks, my husband and our friends tried some of the margaritas from their large and unique margaritas menu, as well as their hibiscus agua fresca. All of the drinks were very pretty and it seemed like everyone enjoyed them, too! We started with their chips and salsa trio, which we all really liked. The chips were on the thicker side, but were crispy and not stale or chewy at all. Each of the salsas were quite different, and two were served warm, which we really liked! For the price, I'd consider getting the chips and salsa as a non-negotiable, honestly. For entrees, we tried the enchilada rojas, chilaquiles verde w/ chicken and beef, birria barbacoa ramen, and huaraches. My husband felt like his ramen could have included more meat, but aside from that everyone really enjoyed what they ordered. The highlight was probably the desserts, though! We got a quatro leches and two ordered of their giant and amazing churros. Both were incredibly tasty and reason enough to return for another visit in the future!

It was my first time trying out Tex mex style. It was so busy on a Saturday evening. The chips that were given to each table was incredibly warm and the sauces paired so well. They gave me 4 giant house made tortillas which was also fresh and warm. This meal can be finished by two people. Definitely come here on an empty stomach and the portions are absolutely massive.

That tamale was amazing. I would get several orders of that soft white tamale by itself to go. And the service was a 10/10. They kept refilling my red and green sauce and kept checking up on me throughout. Ambience was great as always. Its a life changing dish. Thanks Teotihuacan for the great breakfast and great service! Service was remarkable and very friendly from the host to the cleaning staff. Food was delicious. I really appreciated the creative flavors that were inspired by authentic Mexican cuisine. Standouts were the guacamole and wagyu carne asada, but everything was fantastic. I loved the Clara cocktail and enjoyed learning about the process to create it. It is clear that there was care and attention behind each menu item. Also, the pace of the food being brought out was evenly paced, which I appreciate, and our server gave us just the right amount of attentiveness. We celebrated my husband's birthday here, and they sent out a tres leches with a candle on it. Very kind and very delicious dessert. Usually not a big fan of tres leches, but this one was not overwhelmingly soaked in condensed milk, and it has a very fresh tasting peach (seasonal) puree drizzled on top. We will most definitely return.

We ordered the breakfast burrito and the duck carnitas. We added barbacoa to the burrito, and it was honestly the definition of comfort food. It was EXTREMELY greasy though, so I ended up eating it with a fork and knife. If I had been home alone... I probably would've just shoved the whole thing in my mouth. I couldn't not order the duck carnitas. It came on a sope, which is basically my definition of the perfect Mexican brunch. It was really yummy, and I especially loved the salsa that came with it. My only real critique is that the portions felt a little on the smaller side. Either bump them up a bit or add a small side, because I definitely could've eaten a little more.
