Fajita torta , charro beans and a coke
    Rene F.

Had lunch at this spot and ordered a fajita torta with some charro beans. The fajita torta was really good and the bread was soft. The charro beans were delicious too. I'll be back again to try out other menu items.

This place has become our family's new go to taqueria. I think we go at least once a week. Very small place so don't expect to dine in during covid. I've seen three people work here and only one is super fluent in English. The other two may not be as fluent but still no problem in getting your menu across! I've mostly gone for their breakfast tacos and have had their chorizo, potato and egg, ham and egg, and mexican egg(like scrambled eggs with bell peppers and onions and stuff; it was vegetarian). The tacos are made to order starting with warming up their tortilla fresh so when you add the cheese in, it melts perfectly. For lunch or dinner, I've had their pastor taco, shrimp taco, and chicken quesadilla. Again, everything is made fresh. The meats are juicy but not too fatty. I've always ordered at least 4 things every time I went but never have spent more than $10.

Eh it was okay, truly just okay. It's cute and well decorated. Very cozy and they have a quick like buffet type thing. I got the enchiladas and I did not like the chicken. It was dry and the tortillas were like undercooked. The rice tasted like it was just reheated because it was slightly crunchy and stuck together. It was good but definitely leftovers. The beans were good, in general my plate was just okay. I ate it but like it wasn't that great u know. My boyfriend got the mini tacos and said the same thing basically that it was just okay. Staff was friendly. idk just wouldn't go back there's a lot better mexican places in houston.

Super good, super authentic. Everything is delicious. Had chicken tacos and pork and cactus tacos. The service is great and the food is fresh, even the tortillas and salsas are house made. Highly recommend Taqueria Los Jaimes.

    bacon & egg breakfast taco

went here for the 1st time & was pleasantly surprised. the tortillas are handmade & make the tacos taste even better! i had an bacon & egg taco in a flour tortilla & it was sooo good! my friend, who is a picky eater, had beef fajitas with onions & cilantro in flour tortillas, & couldn't believe how wonderful they were. the people working there are so nice & made the place so happy. such a great find. we'll be back!!

Very very good place,I've tried pretty much all They're tacos on the menu, tortas and enchilada plate and they are all DELICIOUS...they are very fast, and you get to see them cook right in front of you ( no surprises, what you see is what you get ) You'll find the same great consistency every time you order from them, taco meats are tender, juicy and packed with flavor also make sure to try the red and green sauce

Omg, I just had the best breakfast tacos. They were so good we order some asada and carnitas tacos to go. You don't get this good if stuff being from Ky. They even had Fresca!

Everything was very fresh tasting. I got 4 breakfast tacos. Potato and egg. We stood right there and watched her cook our entire order.

The entire place feels clean, relaxed, and genuinely fun. Instead of picking through lukewarm trays under heat lamps, you order whatever you want and they bring it fresh straight to your table. The sushi is legitimately tasty and made-to-order. Don't sleep on the beef short ribs either--they've got a savory, slightly salty punch that hits just right with a side of rice. The drinks are solid, and the pricing hits that sweet spot: perfect for a casual, low-pressure date night where you both want to eat really well without any stiff, over-the-top pretense. Left completely full, had a great time, and already looking forward to going back

From soups, salads, sushi, tacos, shrimp fried rice, pink lady sushi, rice taco, crab lobster dip and chip. Avocado salad. All was well. One of the main flaws for me was only certain Sushi was included for the all you can eat. And it's not like you can mix a set. You will have a complete set of one type. I was hoping two to three individuals different sushi rolls. It would've been a bit better if they offer a set of three's or a bit of a variety. Which could allow me to sample more and select a full set. I love that I got some work done and order a shrimp fried rice. Be aware that what ever you do not complete you will be charged Al la carte.

We received the shrimp & crab relatively fast; perfect texture and flavor. Everything was juicy and easy to peel. Our server forgot our 4lb crawfish order probably because we had been talking flavors etc no biggie it was fixed quickly..... however after our crawfish was rush ordered it came out with dark red shells that were super hard. Generally this is from it being served right after its required boil cook time and NOT soaking for the additional 20-30 minutes needed to soften the shells and soak up the flavor. The crawfish were extremely difficult to peel and many stuck the inside of the shells another indication that it wasn't post soaked. I asked the server to ask the kitchen if our batch had been post soaked or straight from the boiler... he came back letting me know that they told him "well it's the end of the season and that's probably why they're OFF".... this response is utterly insane to me as we eat crawfish several times a week allllllll through the season and 3 places just in last 7 days and they were easy to peel and around the same size as these. It's not the servers fault at all; he offered to bring something else but my husband was already fighting his way through the bag and after the horrible excuse from the kitchen I'm just gonna stop somewhere else on the way home. I'm not ok with wasted food or money as crawfish is a waste when it's stuck in the shells. Please post soak your crawfish as it's such an easy fix. It being June and the end of season IS NO EXCUSE Crab and shrimp 10/10 Crawfish 2/10 Service 9/10

Came here with my crawfish eating besties to get our fix in before the season was over. As one of…read morethe higher rated crawfish spots in Houston, I was excited to check it out. Because of it's popularity and competitive pricing, this place had a steady stream of people coming in and out. It is a stand alone business in a busy shopping complex so parking can be challenging. This place could be classified as a hole in the wall which isn't a bad thing, but just painting a picture. When you walk in, there's a lobby area that is basically used just to order food and get your drinks and condiments. There's also a hand washing station. Then you have an inside seating area with a bunch of tables packed tight next to each other as well as a patio area outside. Restaurant cleanliness was just ok. We had to clean our own table and staff did their best to clean up after people got up to leave. They do have paper towels readily available. Customer service was ok. The menu is pretty simple here. They have boiled seafood like crawfish, snow crab, Dungeness crab and mussels. You have two flavors to choose from which are Cajun or Cajun garlic butter. You can pick a spice level as well. They also have fried items like catfish, shrimp, and minimal appetizers. If you feel like fried rice, they got that too. That particular day, I wasn't in the peeling mood so I went with the fried shrimp basket. This was a generous portion of fried shrimp and fries which really hit the spot. I liked the corn meal breading on it that was seasoned and gave it just the right amount of crunch. The fries could have been seasoned better, but it was still good. Though I didn't want to peel, my amazing friend peeled one for me and it was delicious. I had instant regrets not getting my own order. You know it's a good boil when you don't really need anything to dip it in and the flavors are just there throughout the crawfish. Overall, a good experience was had. If I am in the mood for some good ole fashion Cajun boil, this will be on my repeat list.
