Very cute decor inside. Nice outdoor seating. We were helped immediately by friendly staff. The Birria tacos are absolutely delicious. As well as the guava margarita. Unfortunately the guacamole and chips were a miss. The guacamole was very bland. We asked if we could add anything to spice it up and we were given hot sauce. Overall, everyone enjoyed their other dishes.

I stumbled upon Lucharitos one day while craving tacos, and I'm so glad I did! The decor is super fun with WWE wrestlers on the walls, and the music will definitely have you wanting to dance. The margaritas are strong but so good, and the tacos are flavorful and reasonably priced for what you get. As far as service goes, the staff is very nice and welcoming. It can take a little while, especially on Taco Tuesdays when they may only have one bartender and one server, but their positive attitudes definitely make up for the wait.I especially love going for Taco Tuesdays! They play a few rounds of bingo and winners get gift cards, which makes it even more fun. Overall, just a great spot with good good vibes, great food, and a fun atmosphere!

Driven past this place a million times and meeting my son for an early supper only made the decision that much easier. From the outside decor, the kitschy decor and ambience. Our server (whose name escapes me) was amazing - doting without looming, excellent recommendations and margaritas with Jelly Belly's OMG! Left stuffed to the brim. Definitely recommend

Came here on a Friday night, and I was surprised to see that the restaurant wasn't busy. We were seated right away since they had a lot of seating space available. Ordered two different tacos- the Carne Asada and the Picadillo. Both in the soft flour tortilla. Out of the two, I preferred the Picadillo. Drinks were also good.

Fun ambiance with Nacho Libre flavored decor. Great place for happy hour or grabbing a drink and a bite with friends after work. Food was modern Mexican style. Highly recommend their guava marg. Friendly service.

We came as a group during lunch time, it was not very busy. As a group, we were lucky to be seated right away. The decor and vibe of this place is super cute. They have lots of art and even a duck hunt game when you first walk in. Our waitress was so sweet, and very attentive to us. We ordered nachos for the table which were amazing. It was enough for the whole group, I am not sure how two people could finish it and move onto their entree. The margaritas were amazing! The presentation in a little pineapple shaped glass was unique. The margarita did not make you feel heavy afterwards either. The chicken quesadilla was really good. The salsa on the side was 10/10, I loved it the most. I enjoyed the food here as it doesn't make you feel heavy afterwards. Overall it was a great experience.

Fun spot for a bite of Mexican inspired food. Wouldn't go here for authentic Mexican food, but it was comforting and the servings were generous. Tried the street corn and the duck carnitas quesadilla. Corm was a tad under salted but was otherwise sweet, bright, and melded well with the lime juice and cotija cheese. Wish the quesadilla was a bit mixed in toppings - it was a lot of duck meat and cheese without vegetables or anything that could help cut the heaviness of the meat. Tasted good and it was a large serving of meat but I got full very quickly. Ate half and the rest reheated well as leftovers.

Such a beautiful and fun place for all ages ! First off , being an OG WWF fan , loved looking at all the different pictures of some great wrestlers. Second, the good food ! We started with the appetizer of the day - Philadelphia Cheesesteak empanadas. Crispy outside and soft inside - what a cool curated starter ! Had the chicken tacos - crunchy shell and real tasty chicken. The server Jaydah could not have been more friendly and kind . When an establishment has employees like her , it is more inviting. And That's the Bottom Line Cos' I Said So!

I donate blood across the street every couple of months so I have wanted to check this place out for a while and this last Tuesday, we did. The atmosphere is fun and very, very casual. It seemed to need a good cleaning though. We were greeted warmly and our server was attentive despite the fact that she also made the drinks and delivered the food. It was a Tuesday afternoon so maybe that's why. The food was very basic and not at all traditional Mexican. They seemed to put a spin on the traditional Mexican by adding different things like buffalo cauliflower but for me it didn't work. I did not like my watermelon mint margarita either unfortunately. I wouldn't return

The decor is very cheesy to the point of cuteness. But don't be fooled by the look, the food is good! Loved the Al pastor, carne asada, and mahi mahi tacos

On a fluke, I was passing by and saw this attractive restaurant and suddenly made a decision I was hungry for Mexican food! So I went in and boy am I glad I did! The food was excellent. The restaurant was immaculate. They also offered outdoor seating which was really pleasant. The servers were some of the best I've ever encountered. It was so good, I can't wait to return! We ate the Flower Power burrito and the Classic Nachos- vegetarian. Who knew grilled broccoli and zucchini could be so delicious on nachos!

Don't be fooled by the sparking clean and interesting decor, our food was not good and I would recommend coming during their 5 dollar taco times so that you at least don't waste too much $$. Loved how my Nacho looked, but underneath the meat was pathetically dry and impossible to eat. Jalapeños were left off. The tomatoes on my friends Frieda salad were embarrassing. Really a shame because the place is cute. Watch your receipt We split the bill on cards and the tip suggestion was listed on the receipt as if it was the entire total, something I've never seen. While it was our bad, we left over a tip of over 6 bucks each for a tab of 18 dollars... adds salt to the wound. Not recommended other than their special times at best.

There are a few Lucharitos locations. I went to the one in Melville. There is a huge parking lot so you wouldn't need to worry about parking. There are also options to sit outside or inside. Since it was a beautiful day, my friend and I came here for lunch and sat outside. We were seated quickly. Many tables inside were filled. I ordered the Coconut Shrimp Taco which is on the menu as "A best seller!" It had crispy coconut shrimp and mango salsa with pickled cabbage, corn salsa, & chipotle mayo. I also ordered the Crescent Farm Duck Taco. It had pulled BBQ local duck with pickled cabbage, corn salsa, & chipotle mayo. The duck was a little dry. I definitely liked the refreshing flavors of the Coconut Shrimp Taco more than the Crescent Farm Duck Taco. Each of the tacos were $7.50 which is a little steep for 1 taco. Service was fine and the waitress needed to keep walking in and out of the restaurant. There were no complimentary chips or anything.

"There's a bistro where we would dine Candlelight and…read moreCalifornia wine" (Donna Summer) The Greatroom Bistro is the in-house restaurant at the Marriott Melville Long Island. You'll find it on the main hotel level -- walk past the check-in desk, keep walking toward the elevators, and you'll see it on the left after you pass the elevators. It's open for breakfast (6 or 7 am depending on the day) and closes at either 11 (Sunday through Thursday) or midnight on Friday and Saturday. So, it's open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks throughout the day and evening. The restaurant is gorgeous. From our table, we saw a sprawling four-story tall courtyard rising to a glass atrium. We had two meals here - a Thursday lunch and a Saturday breakfast. Lunch was a California Chicken Sandwich ($19.50) and a Chopped Salad ($16.50) with added chicken ($6). Coffee was a steep $5. My Chopped Salad was pretty good- a big portion of fresh chopped Romaine, avocado slices, diced onions and tomatoes, crumbled blue cheese and bacon, hardboiled egg slices, and a very generous portion of sliced chicken breast. I had zero complaints about the quality or quantity, but the $22.50 price tag was on the high side. The chicken sandwich was solid, and the fries were pretty good. I already mentioned that pesky $5 coffee, so when we added up our lunch bill with tax, we were North of $50 before tip. Was it a $50 lunch? Nah, I don't think so. Lunch service was below average. The restaurant was empty except for four guys yukking it up at the bar who thought it was a good idea to blast a prank call on their phone that was so loud I heard it at my table on the other side of the empty restaurant. It took a long time for our food to arrive -most definitely 30 minutes from ordering to delivery. When a manager walked by and asked how we were doing, we mentioned the wait, and she said "oh, there was a mix-up in the kitchen and its being finished up". Ten minutes later it arrived. Breakfast was quite a bit better. We had a large group for their buffet and everything was excellent. Shout out to the lady who ran the omelet station, she was a delight and did a great job handling the line by herself. The buffet was very good -a nice mix of hot trays, cereals, yogurt, fruit, pastries and more. So, there you have it - decent food, uneven service, and Long Island pricing.

Service 4/5 Friendly waitress who checked in occasionally. Ambiance 4/5 Good decor and they have some games to play while you wait. Nice touch that actually makes the wait feel shorter. Cleanliness 3/5 The restaurant itself was fine. The restroom had been left a mess by a previous visitor, and it was pretty obvious no one had checked it in a while. Probably not the norm, but routine checks would go a long way. Parking 5/5 Easy. No stress. Huge lot Value 3/5 Good food, but $25+ for a burger adds up. Portions are decent so you're not leaving hungry, just lighter in the wallet than expected. Oddly the waitress told us candidly that the lunch specials were small and not worth it. I'm glad she told us but that seems kinda' lame. Overall 4/5 Good sandwiches, relaxed atmosphere, easy parking. The restroom and the prices are the only real knocks. I'd go back.

Yeah, you read that correctly... not a typo. We were visiting my daughter and her family while on Long Island, but we had to fend for ourselves one evening while they had other plans. We were in the mood for Mexican food, so Yelp to the rescue... and this place popped up. Well, it lived up to all the hype, I'm happy to say. The restaurant is really small... the only negative... and it can get kind of loud, so okay, two negatives, but the food more than made up for it. We had a really good waiter, who was very helpful in helping us place our order. We ordered guacamole, and they made it to our specifications, minus the hot peppers and cilantro. It was FABULOUS and just like I like it.... as good as Besito, by the way !!! I love that place, too. However, what really won me over was this salmon dish in red mole sauce, which I had never had before. It was AMAAAAAAZING. My husband and I SPLIT an order of their Salmon Con Tropical Mole, which was pan-roasted filet of salmon, mole manchamanteles, sweet plantains, papaya pico de gallo. We got some extra plantains and some street corn, and with the gargantuan size of salmon, it was more than enough for the both of us... plus we definitely filled up on chips and salsa (and guac for me). Everything was superb, and I want to say that the salmon was some of the best I've ever had. It was flaky, flavorful and succulent with a very light but appreciated outer crunch. It was soooooooooooo good. So we came away from this place, raving to everyone and anyone who would listen. We talked my daughter and son-in-law into ordering takeout from here as they were worried it was just too small to deal with a bunch of us going, esp. with their young children. Anyway, I'm disappointed to say that their takeout was an entirely different situation. We ordered the "same" salmon dish, and it was like HALF the size. It was the size for one... not that two could split. (If you look at my photo of it, you'll see how large it was... now cut it in half... that's what we got on takeout.) I let my husband have it cuz I was too angry. It had the mole sauce, but I didn't care once I saw it.... plus the salmon itself looked different... it didn't have that nice crunchy shell from pan roasting it. Just so disappointing. The guacamole was still as good as I remember, as was their salsa... but the portion size and quality of preparation... at least with the salmon... was an abomination. I can't speak to what my daughter and son-in-law ordered for entrees because we didn't try it in the restaurant, so we have no point of reference. I feel bad because I raved and raved about their food, and this takeout experience sucked. There should be NO difference. I guess my takeaway would be to recommend that you dine-in there. I'm awarding all FIVE stars for DINE-IN ONLY... and nothing to do with their takeout process. Brave the crowds because they will be there, make a reservation which will help, and eat THERE. I just don't trust the takeout experience with them.

We sat a bit and waited to have our orders taken and sat a bit longer for the check. They were nice, polite, friendly but a little quicker service would have been appreciated. Would I go back? Sure. I'll try something else.
