Okay, so tacos is one my favorite foods so when I saw this place near my favorite coffee shop I was excited. I ordered 3 tacos; the 1810 beef/chorizo taco, pulled pork and Baja fish. My first thoughts was this is a cute take out joint for tacos. The service was good and fast for take out. The sauces were very flavor. The fish tacos were good but little over dressed for my taste more American less street taco as advertised. My favorite was the 1810 beef/chorizo taco was really greasy and salty for my taste. The pulled pork was the best one I tried. Prices are a little higher per tacos but food is so much higher now overall. I doubt I'll return but someone who likes more American street tacos may enjoy it more. Best Foodie!

Beef street tacos were excellent! The charro beans were also great!

These beef street tacos hit all the right notes - well-seasoned ground beef on fresh corn tortillas topped with classic diced onions and cilantro. The lime wedge adds the perfect finish. The charro beans make a nice accompaniment with their herb-rich broth. Simple, authentic flavors with generous portions and that classic taqueria presentation on checkered paper. No frills, just solid street food done right.

Cute little restaurant, attentive staff and good food. We enjoyed an evening with friends. Cocktails were done well too.

What a stunning restaurant. The greenery throughout the store made everything feel so wholesome and…read morethe elegant decor added a touch of sophistication. The exterior is just as beautifully decorated. It's clear that chef-owner Lori Pope poured a lot of time, heart, and soul into both the menu and the store's design. The hostess was super friendly. As soon as I walked in, she gave me a warm and smiling greeting. The menu was a feast for the eyes. It had a lot of lovely pictures of the different dishes. I was ecstatic to see that there were so many vegetarian and vegan friendly options. Also, most of the dishes can be requested to be made gluten-free. Big plus. You don't order at your table, instead you go to the counter in the back and make sure to bring the sheet with your table number on it. The gal at the counter who took our order wasn't as friendly as the hostess but she was polite enough to inform us about the 15% charge. The food came out very quickly. Hopefully it's because they had a ton of people working in the back. Hopefully. I ordered the Magic Mushroom Tacos and thought it was a beautiful plate. My favorite thing about the dish is the tortillas. It had a nice light crisp to it and kept all the fillings intact from start to finish. The "Magic Mushrooms" were good but could have been better if the batter were lighter and crispier. The batter was a little on the heavy and dense side for me. I also think the sauce could be even better if it had a bit less oil and a bit more flavor. I really enjoyed the potato slices and the fresh berries were a great way to cleanse the palate. My lunch date ordered the Biscuit and gravy dish and thought it was good. We also ordered a side of the Belgian waffle to share. I thought the waffle on its own was extremely sweet and way too dense for my liking. I am happy there's a locally owned and created brunch place like Harvest Kitchen and will definitely be back to try other dishes. Note: There's an automatic 15% service charge to every order.

I needed to update my review 06/17/26…read more Never did I threaten her granddaughter or the hostess. Her underage granddaughter often works here during school breaks. She brought me my cinnamon roll after I asked for a refund, I relayed that message to granddaughter. My review reflects on her unwelcoming hostess mentioned.. I was also met with pages of messages on Instagram from their personal page after this review that I KINDLY responded to on how they no longer served us. Apparently you can't be open and honest on yelp without being banned from this restaurant. Lack of professionalism and ability to accept open criticism is clearly an issue & displayed here. Being labeled as much considering the close and friendly relationships I've had with the staff here is disappointing, disgraceful, and disrespectful. I will not longer be commenting on this as of 06/17/2026. 06/16/2026: I am a regular. I can't remember the last time I enjoyed my meal and/or experience here from start to finish here. Today was my last straw. The experience and food is noticeably different when chef Lori is not here. For $80 I expect my food to come fresh and delivered with the rest of the tables food. I don't expect to sit down for 10 - 15 minutes to then be notified they are out of what I ordered. I've sat down for an extra 5 - 10 minutes and I saw 10 empty tables with no line. The whole experience here has gone downhill and rapidly fast. To say the least, I will not consider myself a regular here anymore. I added an old picture because I really use to enjoy this place.

Another pleasant surprise in what I'm going to arbitrarily designate as a brunch fusion menu…read more Firstly, it's a very nice layout. Tables are well spaced plenty of room eight crisp environment really just a very comfortable ambience. The services superlative from the moment you walk in in which you are immediately accommodated to the server who takes an order and then the servers who serve the food which is not necessarily one in the same. It's simply a very efficient service system and very pleasant if you're a customer. You get warm food. In my case I had hollandaise with Salman underlying it, which was very good. The eggs were cooked perfectly the hollandaise not by any means obnoxious but a very deliberate Irving and a wonderful salad, which both underlines the egg and is served as a side with the eggs, which were perfectly poached. In so far as the buzz is concerned, there are wines and beer available and really quite an extensive menu in both. I enjoyed a beer with mine, which I know it sounds like an odd combination, but it worked quite well for me. Really this is a wonderful addition to Katy options for breakfast or brunch.

I had been watching this one being built for a while and was especially curious to try it since this location has a full bar, which adds a really fun twist to the traditional coffee shop concept. I stopped in for lunch and decided to sit out on the patio which ended up being the perfect choice. The atmosphere was relaxed, bright, and inviting with a nice open feel that makes it easy to slow down and actually enjoy your meal. The staff was friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in and everything moved quickly and smoothly. I ordered the guava mimosa and it was SO good. Light, refreshing, and honestly the perfect daytime drink. For food I had the chicken avocado wrap and substituted the chips for truffle fries and both were SOOOOO good. The wrap was fresh, warm, and packed with flavor and the truffle fries were absolutely worth the upgrade. I love that this location keeps the cozy Buzz and Bites feel while also leaning into a slightly more elevated vibe with the bar and patio seating. Between the atmosphere, the friendly staff, and the great food and drinks, I can already tell this will become a regular lunch spot now that it is so close to our office.

I went with a new item on the menu - the Barbacoa Chilaquiles Breakfast Bowl. It was pretty good - for a non- Mexican food place. And it was a lot of food. The only thing I would knock on this was the red sauce. Needed a bit more bite. Maybe some jalapeños. But pretty dang good. Moms and bro cleaned their plates to so no complaints from them. I ordered the Barbacoa Chilaquiles Breakfast Bowl and a water. 1. When the plate was served I found it odd that I didn't see any Barbacoa in the dish. I figured it's in the sauce and looked for TEN MINUTES while also looking at photos of the dish online. It did not have any barbacoa in the bowl. I explain this to a different waitress and she takes the food back to the kitchen and brings it out again with a small piece of barbocoa sitting conveniently on top of my food! She tries to point that out saying there's meat in it which is absolutely ridiculous! Very insulting and gross. SEE THE VIDEO, there's only 1 piece of meat on top. I didnt take a single bite of food. Absolutely unacceptable to bring a plate of food back from the kitchen trying to trick the customer to avoid remaking the dish. They comped a single order of avocado toast and the manager came to apologize. Completely ruined my experience and would not recommend this place to anyone. (They also spilled water on my shorts but I understand accidents happen )

Our party of four each got a different dessert, one strawberry cheesecake, one turtle cheesecake, one strawberry pie, and one Boston cream pie. AMAZING!! Definitely going back because the menu looked extremely good on breakfast items and other entrée selections.
