This dress shop was amazing. Upon arrival, my daughter had her measurements taken and was asked what color and style she wanted. I was asked what price range. With a couple colors and a vague "puffy bottom", the woman there was able to find the exact dress my daughter was looking for. From there, we paid the $50 deposit (understandable due to the cleanliness of people entering the store) and she assisted my daughter with the dress fitting. Once we chose a dress, she took quick measurements and had us come back later with the straps adjusted correctly and the dress steamed. The only problem I saw with this store is its location. If they were a stand alone store, they wouldn't have to worry about people just wondering through their store without seriously planning on buying anything. While we were there, three girls with food and drinks (one with ice cream) came in and gave attitude when the owner informed them that they couldn't walk around with food and drinks, even offering the counter as a place to put it while they looked. Overall, this is where we will be shopping for every formal gown and probably most dresses as we are guaranteed a perfect fit. Price wise, it's on the low end to middle range (we paid $350 for a dress listed at another retailer for $500). The quality of the dress seems great and the service was wonderful. The cons are there were only two people working so it's best to get an idea of what you want prior to going in so it speeds up the process as they can easily become overwhelmed. read more

This really just echos what most others have said. What a bizarre way of selling. Most of us adults know when looking at it if a dress might compliment or support our bodies. I needed a dress for mom prom. No idea of color, just needing a supportive fit for my mom bod. There was a post-it note on the door that said they would open at noon. They did not. Around 1240 when I checked for the 3rd time it was opened. Same thing that others have said, all of the dressy/formal gowns were crossed off with stanchions. I had kind of assumed she just wanted to know before people were in there and be able to be helpful or tentative. Nope. I asked if I could look at those. She was very abrupt and said I needed to tell her my budget and colors I wanted to look at. And that she would choose some for me to try. WHAT? I told her I don't know what color I want. Red, blue, green, black and that I would expect to find that out by looking at dresses that caught my eye. I said I want to pick my own dress with my own knowledge of my body and not a stranger picking a few for me. It's just so weird. All I can think is they're aiming for an extremely upscale luxury type feel. But if that's the case, they need a different location with a far less crowded and cluttered look with different dresses. I'm not knocking the dresses, i'm sure there was many in there that would be perfect for dances and proms, and the like. But they're not extreme luxury brands and quality AND the shop is so packed and cluttered that it feels like a flea market so... All in all, I didn't care for the selling model, she was rude, I told her what I said above (that I'd like to pick my dress, duh) and I walked right out end of story. The owner or whoever the crazy Russian lady was, asked if we had a budget and I said 300 for a prom dress she proceeded to tell my daughter the dress would be 300 ( she hadn't even showed us a dress) and that there was a 100 deposit and if we decided not to get the dress she was keeping the money........uh what??? Went into this store for my daughter who was looking for a prom dress. The owner Lucia was extremely rude and pushy for a sale, her first question was what is your budget? She immediately told my 18 year old daughter to not touch the dresses. My daughter liked a dress in the window but Lucia would not let my daughter try on a dress unless we paid a $100 deposit. I asked her what if the dress does not fit she said it was non refundable but could be used towards another dress in the store that she would find. In the middle of her store she has areas roped off so you can't go near the dresses. I have never been treated this way in a store and will not be returning or buying anything from her ever! I was in the mall & decided to stop by to see if there was anything i thought my daughter might like to wear for homecoming. I was told there were strict store rules, and that I needed to bring my daughter, along with a picture of what style of dress she wants and tell them how much I wanted to pay. The owner would then find something SHE thought would work for her. She said I wasn't allowed to look at the dozens of racks of dresses even though they were protected in plastic. I was a bit taken back at the hundred dollar deposit needed to start dress shopping for my daughters prom. But after the amount of work that I saw being put into it -try this dress let's try that dress I saw the purpose of it. We found an amazing dress great quality and they were able to do the alterations in House very quickly. The night before the prom we had an issue with the fitting and zipping it up. We hadn't had time to try it on after picking it up for alterations so I called the number late at night thinking I would just leave a voicemail and they actually picked up. And they DROVE to meet me in Coeur d'Alene so that we could make sure that this dress would be ready for the prom. turns out I just didn't know exactly how to get the dress on her and it was already perfectly altered so they drove all that way to show me how to zip up my daughters dress! But all of them are in plastic bags covering them so you cant see them really well and this Russian or German lady, she was the only one in the store, asked if she could help me find something so I told her what I was looking for and everything she pointed out wasnt what I was looking for (a conference in Hawaii) I found one that looked more Hawaiian like with a pretty blue and bright melon color flowers with tank style strap instead of spaghetti straps. I told her more this style and cut, not really meaning that particular dress, its too too flowery than I want, and I told her I would to like to try it on to see how it fits. She said if I let you try it on are you going to buy it, I told her well yes if I like it, and she said well if it fits you will you buy it, are you here to buy something today. I said yes, but I wont know if I like it unless I see it on. I said maybe I should take in a few more to try on, she said you'll have to pay $30 to try on more, I dont work for free. So I just tried on the one and ended up feeling so pressured to buy it and she offered to alter the length then charged me $50 more. I went here to get a dress for a recital. I was looking through the racks of dresses and the owner came up to ask if I needed help. I asked her to point me to dresses at my price point, and she asked if I'd like a dressing room so I agreed. She kept bringing me dresses, so I tried a few on but didn't settle on any. I was on a bit of a time crunch that day, so I thanked her and said "I'll come back another day when I have more time." She started YELLING at me??? She said "you expect me to work for you for free???" I said "No! I just don't have time today to keep looking." She kept yelling at me, telling me I was rude and disrespectful for using a dressing room (which SHE had insisted I do.) I ended up rushing out just to get away from her, and I will not go back. This was during a very stressful time in my life and I ended up crying in my car after this awful interaction. Do NOT waste your time or money here. HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE! I took my daughter in to shop for her first-ever homecoming dress. The employee who approached us seemed friendly at first, but the taped-off, segregated set up prohibited us from looking at dresses at our own free will. I asked if dressing rooms were open and she said only if we planned to buy. I agreed that our intent was to find a beautiful dress and we were prepared to make a purchase. She only allowed my daughter to take 4 dresses into the dressing room, so I continued to browse as she tried on dresses. Apparently that set off the employee who reminded me that we had to buy a dress today. I chuckled and said that we plan to buy a dress if we could find one that we like but we aren't going to be bullied into buying something we don't like. Our debate quickly escalated, she took the dresses out of the dressing room and then proceeded to tell me we have to pay a fee to use the dressing room if we don't buy a dress. I firmly told her I do not agree with her business approach, and I instructed my daughter to put on regular clothes. When I told the employee that she lost out on a good customer and a sale, she disagreed with me and walked away. I literally have no idea how the store sells anything in a legitimate manner. Lady was really nice at first, saying she could make altercations to my dress if it was to big. My mom was bringing dresses to my dressing room, so I could try them on. One of the things that I truly find amazing is they take great detail in how their dresses are handled. Please know, if you do not have a dress in mind it maybe hard to find what you would like with covid regulations, and wanting to keep the garments as nice as possible, and off the floor, to unsure there are no rips tairs or snares. I know without a shadow of a doubt if you walked in with a couple of pictures from the internet, she could pull two or three dresses that are, if not identical then really close to it. They have a wide variety of long to short as well as long-short dresses, camisals, covers, lace tubes, strapless bracelets that can be tailered to fit, and or even add cloth/mesh to a bustline of a dress. They have dresses for every event posable; from cocktail, prom , homecoming, bridesmaid, and even wedding. In every color, and or shape tailered to fit your figure perfectly. All the accessories that you would need, including shoes, and hand bags. They take pride in wanting to give you the best service possible. I highly recommend you checking them out. Look at the bustline of my daughter's dress. The inside lining looks like it was made to be that way with shorter straps and putting material in to make it beautifully modest. If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. As prom approaches, stay AWAY from Lucia's boutique. We brought 3 teen girls over for the weekend, stopped in this little boutique that had some adorable dresses in the window so we went in. The lady asked if we were shopping or buying. We explained we were shopping but if we found something they loved, we'd be buying. Fast forward to her showing us some awful dresses and 2 of 3 girls trying on, not finding anything they loved, someone mentioned we were done. The lady snatches all of the dresses, goes to the front, starts talking shit about us in Russian. She then comes back to the dressing rooms (where we still were because the girls were getting dressed) and starts freaking out about how she was going to remember our faces because we lied and said we were buying and she would have made us pay first if she knew we were only trying on.. $50 a person.. I needed a formal knee length dress- which is IMPOSSIBLE to find! This boutique had a good selection of them, but the one I liked the most was a full length. The owner offered to alter it for us for a reasonable price! This was a very important dress and there was a bit of a language barrier, but she assured us that she does quality work and we went with it. When we picked it up- it was PERFECT! She did a beautiful job and we couldn't be happier! this was not a simple alteration- we're talking pleated chiffon being cut to a very precise length we had to meet! My Daughter, granddaughter and I went into this establishment on 3/10/18. We were looking for a specific length dress for granddaughter for DYW program. We were treated very poorly by both the male and female working there. My daughter was on crutches and the owners went out of their way to ensure we could find the right dress that would work for her brace and if she has to use the crutches. Came in to shop for a wedding dress as we are on a budget. There were several options that we liked and I found a dress pretty enough for a wedding as well as a more comfortable after party dress. She allowed me to put down a deposit on the wedding dress to hold it for 2 weeks until I had the money. The woman who works here if very sweet and returns my phone calls and even offered to adjust the dress size so it would fit me better. It makes sense that she wouldn't want anyone to try on a dress if they weren't serious about finding something to buy. She was never pushy about me buying something I didn't like and brought tons of options for me. She would tell me if she thought something wouldn't fit me but she took my measurements so she was just being honest. These dresses are expensive and obviously easy to rip. I am Hispanic and Italian and neither her or the man who works there were racist. I think that if they came off rude it's because of the language barrier and people just don't realize that they are not trying to be rude just honest and helpful. It is their business and there aren't many stores with dresses of that quality for the affordable prices they have. Prom and wedding dresses can run up to thousands of dollars in many places. The other stores in the mall have nothing but ugly plain dresses and the owners have to order these dresses personally. My advice to all of you is to get over yourselves and if you don't want to buy a dress or have the money don't try it on. If you're actually interested in buying one she will let you try them on and you don't have to buy something you don't like. She's obviously not a thin woman and she isn't fat shaming.
