I purchased 2 packages of multi-session PICOSURE laser treatment, valued well over $1400 during a boxing day sale. Like many others, I was swayed by the glowing reviews and overall posh atmosphere. Much to my dismay, the first few appointments were completely useless as there was minimal to no change in my condition. The latest appointment made "somewhat" of a visible difference (thanks to the technician), but was met with an incredibly rude staff member who spared no effort to be slanderous when I turned down their (illegal) sales tactics of accepting risky and lower value procedures prior to initiating sessions that I actually paid for. Not just that, but they LACK TRANSPARENCY when it comes to certain 'private' policies that directly impact clients- even after they've paid for dubiously un refundable multisession "treatments"- as well as PROVIDER CONSISTENCY when it comes to the performance of actual procedures. If the director, Oscar Amar, is reading this- THE clinic is constantly in clear violation of compliance with service contracts with their clients. Refusing to proactively schedule (or reschedule) appointments, refusing to offer excellent service, refusing civil staff mannerisms are all serious damages to any mature person's financial, physical, and mental well being. The clinic must offer refunds for services not rendered, and train front desk staff to SERIOUSLY please those who are paying customers.

I underwent a series of CO2 laser treatments, including fractional laser on my cheeks, for my icepick acne scars between 2022 and 2023. Unfortunately, my experience was highly disappointing. Despite spending over $6,000 on 6 sessions and additional mandatory treatment skincare products, the results did not meet expectations. This was extremely disheartening in the end, as the procedure itself was extremely painful, requiring a full week of downtime after each session. TREATMENT: During my treatments, I noticed inconsistencies in the care provided. While Ina, the technician responsible for most of my sessions, did take her time during less busy appointments, I noticed she would rush through sessions when her schedule was packed. Given that EACH session cost around $1,000 for 50 minutes of treatment time, I expected a more consistent level of care. I understand it's a business, but for the cost, a little more attention and respect to the patient should have been given... I strongly believe there is a chance that I did not get the results I was told by the staff I would get, because of the lack of attention actually given during the treatments. CUSTOMER SERVICE: After 3x initial sessions, I was advised in December 2022 to undergo an additional 3, with the clinic CONFIDENTLY promising me a 60% reduction in the appearance of my scars. Unfortunately, after completing all 6 sessions, I saw little to no improvement (less than 10%). Rather than addressing my concerns with empathy, Ina and the front desk staff attempted to sell me more sessions, which was disheartening, considering the financial and emotional investment I had already made. Overall, this experience gave me the impression that the clinic prioritizes profit over patient care. Considering the pain, time, and significant cost involved, I expected a higher standard of professionalism, bedside manner, and customer service. I strongly do NOT recommend this clinic, as it appears to focus more on profit than truly helping patients.

The 2nd: a sour owner who seemed miffed that my using her Groupon offer meant I was ripping her off. -- I mean, she is the one who agreed to the package price, and I'd called her directly rather so she wouldn't lose money to Groupon! Most unpleasant. I found Medica Laser Spa through Groupon, also, called them directly (which they appreciated), and they agreed to the same package price. Also, the area I need treating is not the face but the decolletage area, and they agreed to treat that area, instead. Their IPL treatments, though, are incredible by comparison! They do the regular treatment stuff (IPL, face serum, SPF cream) but then do much more: They do a couple of other serums and an oxygen bath. They spend twice the amount of time on me as the other places had. Medica Laser Spa's staff go above and beyond the minimum -- the best deal in the city for IPL that I've found. Plus, again, they're NICE. And I really like to support nice businesses and not feed the negative ones. The location is right beside the Eglinton subway station so the convenience is great. Considering location, it's all the more remarkable that this place is such a great deal. :D
