I pinch myself for not going to the joint sooner. I am a fan of BBQ and it did not disappoint. We walked in and got seated right away for dinner. They have specials throughout the week and we went during a time that anything was going on, but it didn't stop us from chowing down. The pulled pork sandwich with crispy onion straws and a side of mashed potatoes did the trick. I put on a good amount of BBQ sauce and it was so good. The golden Oreo banana pudding, caramel cheesecake, and key lime pie ended our evening sweetly. Our waitress was personable and she did a wonderful job making sure we were happy with everything. The food came out quickly and we were able to enjoy everything without being rushed. I will definitely return sooner than later for the next visit.

HUGE PORTIONS! Nachos were ginormous! We made a good dent in this pile of chips. Sandwich was amazing, all around great experience! [[HIGHLIGHT]]We sat outdoors, but there is plenty of indoor seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was great, and food came out quickly

Lucilles's is a chain of barbecue restaurants serving lunch and dinner daily. They were founded in Boca Raton in 1997 by a husband and wife. I had previously tried their Delray Beach location and did not have a good experience so I had shied away from trying them again. Recently a family member was in town and wanted to meet here at the Boynton Beach location which opened in 2002 as their fourth restaurant. I was not enthusiastic about the choice but fortunately this visit went better. Upon arriving I liked the area out front with a fountain, stone benches, and landscaping where we were able to snap a few pictures. There are also some tables with umbrellas for al fresco dining when the weather is nice. The inside of the restaurant is L shaped with the dining area in the rectangular part. It features a huge American flag mural by artist Ruben Ubiera along with a tin ceiling and brick walls. We had a booth and after checking out the extensive menu we decided on the Hawg Heaven For Two which included a quarter chicken, half a rack of ribs, pulled pork, chopped beef brisket, and pulled chicken with three sides, fries, sweet potato, and coleslaw. Everything was delicious and it was a great value. There was more than enough food to take home for additional meals. While Lucille's started out as strictly barbecue they have expanded the menu through the years to include salads, seafood, tacos, and wraps. Our whole family enjoyed their dinner and service. They also have dessert but we were too full. A Yelp check in revealed a generous $10 off coupon which they honored. I am glad I was talked into giving them another chance and I would come back again to this location if I was in the area.

Paul and I went to Lucille's for the early bird special on Friday evening. We had to be there by 5:30 and we made it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We sat outside because it was freezing inside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We were very comfortable and our waitress attended to us regularly and did a fantastic job. We ordered the ribs with salad or soup and two sides with an ice cream sandwich and a corn muffin. The ribs fell off the bone and were delicious! I had the steamed broccoli and sweet potato and Paul had the macaroni and cheese with sweet potato. It was more than enough to eat and the price was so fair. We brought home doggy bags. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was a quiet time to eat and digest our food and unwind from the day.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Lucille's is a fabulous neighborhood place to enjoy comfort food.

Yummy and good weekly deals on the wall and posted through the menus. The space offers plenty of room for large parties and group settings. Service was pleasant and helpful throughout the meal of our group of 6 during our lunch meeting . One funny thing learned the products offered are not Coco Cola or Pepsi, it makes me laugh as two of my Team mates are particular to their drink favorites. The French fries were my favorite style I have ever tasted, they were hot Crunchy and packed with flavor. The wings were cooked well and mouth watering for medium , portion was perfect . Had a good time $20 for 10 wings and fries, I think other locations offer a better price , but quality was solid!

It took a few minutes to get a grasp on the menu. The staff was friendly and helped explain everything. I ultimately went with the lean brisket, a side of coleslaw, a side of collard greens and they also added in a piece of cornbread. My wife got the same, except she got the regular brisket which was much more fatty. I absolutely loved my food. Even though the brisket was lean, it was still very tender and of course the flavor was sensational. The sides were also solid. I liked that the coleslaw was chopped on the finer side and it wasn't too saucy. The collard greens also had great seasoning. I didn't try the cornbread but it looked pretty good. The only complaint we had was the texture of my wife's brisket which was a little on the mushy side. The flavor was good, it's just texture wise, most of it was like a big blob of meat and fat, rather than brisket slices. She wound up throwing more than half away. I've actually passed this place a million times and eaten at restaurants all over the area. But somehow I never stopped in at Mission BBQ. Glad I did! Four stars, I am looking forward to trying more items off their menu.

We got the pulled pork sandwich, (the only tolerable item to eat) and the 2 meat combo with brisket & ribs. The sides were corn bread l, Mac & beans. The brisket was so dry, as shown in the photo and the ribs couldn't even been chewed off or cut off if we tried. They have two bbq sauces a smoked bbq sauce and a mustard sauce. No plain or basic bbq sauces. That could have made the pork a bit better. The Mac n cheese was good but came out cold. The beans tasted odd, then I looked at the menu and saw that they were vegetarian. Interesting. Lastly the cornbread... I couldn't believe it. It was soaked in some kind of hunny sauce. That was so sweet, if it was just the cornbread it would have tasted better. This is a hard pass. Sorry. Way too many places around to get good bbq.

He got the pulled pork with collard greens and beans. He liked it all. I tried his sides and they were great. I got the small brisket platter. There were only two slices of meat on the plate -- looked quite skimpy especially after removing the fatty edge. The meat was a bit dry and needed help -- by adding some of the sweet bbq sauce. I wouldn't order the brisket again. For my sides, I got the shells Mac n cheese. That was creamy. I liked it. And I got the sticky corn bread. That was a bit too sweet. I'd get it plain next time, if I got it again. We shared a sweet tea. I didn't care for it at all. There was so much honey flavor in it that it was almost thick and cloying. Not refreshing at all. I'd get a soda next time. For someone who loves sweet, I was surprised to ever find "too sweet" in my vocabulary. But I'd definitely come back to try the ribs or the pork. The pastrami sounds intriguing, but they don't always have it and it's not available on a set schedule. I asked about it and was told to call to see if they had it that day. But the lemony collards and beans will definitely be added into my future visit.
