The corn on top of ice was super fresh and sweet. At 0.33 cents a cob it was a bargain (Limit 6). It boasted a vast produce and frozen section (heck most areas were huge) and good prices. While it was packed and lines long, they had a ton of register open so the lines moved fast. They also have a small pizza shop selling slices etc. The store only takes cash or debit. The parking lot is vast and we had no issues despite it being Friday at 5PM.

Adrienne (assistant store manager) was dismissive and did not investigate, even after it was clear multiple items were affected. I also asked to speak with the store manager (Tom), but no clear information was provided. I've included photos comparing this location to another store, where the same product looked normal. This is not about a refund , it's about product quality and how customers are treated.

Our faves are their crema empanadas, quesadilla, muffins, and the alfajores! It's a must. Also, we recently gave their taqueria a try and went straight for the pupusas revueltas. Let me tell you, I was surprised, they were so good! The size, flavor, and price...you can't beat it! I picked up 8 for under $4 each and my whole family was obsessed. The curtido and salsa were also on point! 10/10 across the board.

He spoke a lot under his breath about this issue. When it came time to bag anything and everything is thrown literally into bags. I just spent $320 on my 6 little bags of groceries and you're treating me like crap for it even though that's how they have jobs. Then a clerk comes up and he proceeds to ask about hearing him over the walkie talkies, meanwhile the new clerk blows her nose, messes with her tissue a few times, puts it in her apron and starts touching my food items! They pretty much always have milk, eggs, ground beef, etc., but they do change items fairly often, and are not a huge store. Having said that, part of the fun is that you never know what you might find. Sometimes, you'll find high-end products (eg. wine, cheese, speciality items) at a reduced price. I'm giving them a "4" because I love the pricing and the interesting items I tend to find there (can you say offbeat seasonal novelty Cap'N Crunch variations?). Also, this particular location has great, friendly service. It's been pretty consistent over the years, which tells me that they are well-managed.

The produce pricing is bizarre. I recall them trying to sell jicama at a premium, so much so that I saw the same sad jicama week after week until it shriveled up and died. The pricing only comes down when no one would want the bruised or old produce. It's wasteful and stupid. Check the labels for outdated items. The Winco is better and has competitive prices, perhaps because it is a coop and not a corporation? Meh. I can live without the occasional "find" I used to go there for. Lately, they just have the same unsellable junk.
