Terrible & loaded with MSG. Crab Rangoon is hard, shrimp toast is greasy. The MSG made me ill and gave me palpitations.

Not a bad place. Standard Chinese fare with nothing special on the menu, but what they have is good. Just nothing outstanding.

The food is always good and I like their sesame chicken the best! The sauce they use for the sesame chicken is always good, it's not too sweet. There is no more seating I the restaurant since Covid. But the place seems clean. I like that they have a table set up for all the sauces that is needed. Some Chinese places either give you too little sauces or too much. I love picking up and bringing it to the park near by.

I could not believe the size of the portion. I always finish my meal, and this was the first time I was too full to finish. The chicken, and pork fried rice with broccoli was delicious. Here is why I didn't give them a five star rating. When I walked in at their one and only table that they have, was I women, a teenage boy, and girl. The girl got up from the table, took my order, and said it would ready in 10 minutes. As I was a waiting for my order I notice there was no one in the kitchen cooking. After about four minutes the women at the table playing with her phone decided to get up, and start my order. It would have been nice if the customer came before playing on her phone, and they left their one and only table open for a customer to use.

If you are looking for the inverse, facebook is it. This is the greatest Chinese take out restaurant available in CT. I won't say in ALL of CT history because do you guys remember House of Chao (RIP). But the past is the past and SING Hee is the present. Sing Hee is delicious and reliable and the people working there seem INTENSE and work hard. You can see straight back into the kitchen they are working like no other. Young kids at the front counter askin me if Kirby want sauce, i'm like all I needs is hot MUSTARD packets. Bro gives me a grin like we're in Ocean's 11 and loads me up w like 15 mustards, ya boi stocked for LIFE. I get extra egg rolls because egg roll for breakfast microwave for like 30 seconds and DOUSED in hot mustard is the breakfast you wish you could have everyday but you can't because u have a heart attack or something. Most important is the Lo Mein is perfect, not too saucy, not too dry, not too oily. It's like the Lord himself made this Lo Mein. anything w broccoli is also delicious. My friends have been raving about China King for a quite some time. They love their chicken with…read moregarlic sauce dinner combo (with an egg roll and fried or white rice). I was a bit skeptical at first, but one of them owns a Chinese restaurant in San Francisco so I had to believe his word when he said the food here was good. I decided to grab my first take-out from this place tonight and called in that order ahead. The food was ready when I got there in 10 mins! The gentleman was friendly and accommodating when I requested for chili oil as well. The restaurant has tables and chairs so one can actually dine in. However, it's mainly for takeout so a lot of people just come to pick up their food or have it be delivered. There is a large parking lot so not to worry. Aside from good portion I was given, I was impressed by the well-balanced proportions of fried rice and garlic chicken/veggies. Some places like to skimp out on the meat and veggies by giving you more rice, but this was not the case here. The veggies were not overcooked and the chicken was soft and tasted fresh. As for the massive egg roll, it was crispy and had good filling of pork and veggies. FYI my friend said that you can switch out the egg roll for a spring roll. The requested chili oil on the side was a great condiment to the dish since I love spicy food. Lastly, the fortune cookie tasted fresh... I was shocked by the poor reviews below, but I realize that the ownership has changed so I recommend giving China King another try and it will prove its worthiness of the crown (haha). I will definitely come back here again especially during their lunch hours with great prices!

I was so pleasantly surprised from our first visit at Sakana that I had to make a return trip later…read morethe same week. It was a humble reminder that you don't need to go to a culinary destination to find good food. Cheshire Connecticut may not be known for its food scene, however, I found Sakana was a genuine diamond in the rough. My expectations were admittedly low going in. My level of skepticism is always high when I see the "Asian Bistro" moniker, as it is frequently used for restaurants to try to appeal to the masses at the expense of quality by having a "jack-of-all-trades" menu that lacks the technical intricacies and mastery required for specific dishes. Additionally, these establishments tend to follow a "cookie-cutter" menu and offer the same boring dishes you can find at every other Asian Bistro. Even when initially walking towards the restaurant, I had my doubts. The exterior of Sakana honestly looked more like a clinic than a restaurant. Once I saw the menu however, my skepticism shifted towards optimism. For a local bistro, they feature a surprisingly extensive wine and cocktail menu, including premium sake options. I was particularly impressed to find toro on the menu; although it's undoubtedly becoming more of a trend in Connecticut, I was nevertheless happy to see it offered at Sakana as well. Overall I liked their sushi selections and everything I ordered was well-prepared and tasted fresh. We ordered a chicken and broccoli for our daughter and found the chicken tender and broccoli perfectly cooked. That may not sound impressive to those reading, but you'll be surprised how many restaurants fail to execute this baseline dish correctly. The service, although pleasant, was probably the only "weak link" of our experiences here. The quality of service was noticeably inconsistent between our two visits, and they would benefit vastly from having a more reliable and experienced front-of-house team to match the execution coming from the kitchen and sushi bar. Despite this minor gripe, Sakana was a standout. As long as I'm in the area, they will definitely be among the top of my list of places to eat!

So friendly. Is the food exceptional? To me no, but my parents enjoy it. Tonight we started with crab rangoons. Pretty good. Sauce on the side not very exciting. A chili sauce would be better. I got a sushi roll with White tuna inside and cooked shrimp on top and wasabi mayo. I forget the name of the roll but it was better than the two times I've ordered takeout. Miso soup was also good. Their soup bowls are in the shape of a heart which is super cute. Dad got some sort of a mixed protein dish with brown sauce (had shrimp, chicken and beef). Mom got the chicken and garlic sauce. They both got fried rice on the side. I tried it and it was very bland. Dad also got a salad with his meal and the ginger dressing was not very good. Red coloring to it. Usually ginger dressing is more on the orange side. Dad also got the Malaysian chicken coconut soup to start and it could use a bit more flavor. Was a bit watery. Mom loved her sweet and sour soup. Nice that this place is 5 minutes away. Cheshire needs more restaurants. Def not my fav restaurant in town though. Food to me is just ok.
