    Cashew chicken (lunch special)

Good location! Very small inside but they make the best use of space they can with about 5 tables. Good selection of your typical American Chinese meals, I got the chicken with cashew nuts and thought it was pretty good. Everything is very salty here, so take note of that if you don't want to add extra salt to your diet or don't like salty food. I didn't love that the chicken was breaded, I wish they had descriptions of the meals before you ordered them (or I wished I had asked). But other than that, it still tasted good. The real highlights for me were the egg roll and the fried rice. The egg roll is one of the best I've had, filled with pork and lots of veggies. Very tasty! The fried rice also came with pork and onions, giving it a nice unique flavor. I wouldn't call this place mind-blowing but they have something they do and they do it well. I'd come here again if I needed something quick and easy.

Lucky Corner just opened a few months ago. Located in the Raymond Shopping Center, Lucky Corner is the "new kid on the block" which serves up a basic Chinese menu plus Hunan, Szechuan, and Curry specialties. 25 Luncheon Specials ($5.15-$5.50) and 25 Special Combinations ($7.25-$7.50) are offered. Funny thing, they have very similar/identical prices and offerings as their competition (China One) around the corner. The bright place has an open kitchen and there are four shiny wood tables (for 4) for eat-in customers. The staff here is 20/30 something Chinese guys and they really hustle to get those large orders ready for pickup. Last night, I saw a lot of people stopping here to pick up large orders of food before the big snowstorm. I've stopped here for takeout and ordered a bunch of appetizers (Pu Pu Platter) including teriyakis, egg rolls, crab rangoons, chicken fingers, chicken wings, spareribs with an order of pork fried rice, overall greasy, but decent tasting food, priced right.

C25 beef teriyaki, chicken fingers, boneless spare ribs egg roll pork fried rice. (I had already bitten into the Beef teriyaki so not shown)

I usually opt for their combo meals and it's a great way to scratch a Chinese food itch for about $13 or under. With food prices rising lately some items have gone up but it's to be expected. I would consider the place a take-out only deal. Although, they do have tables in the dining area they end up mostly being used by staff and the owners' children. For me, this definitely adds to the overall ambiance of the place. It may be a meme, but I've found it's true that if you get rung out by a child at a Chinese place the food is likely to be fire.

The first time I was here, I had their dinner special and thought it tasted delicious for the price, quantity, and quality. I got it again and ordered the beef and broccoli with pork fried rice and boneless spareribs for less than $13. The spareribs were the appetizer, so there was a decent amount of it. But there was a lot of rice and beef and broccoli to make two meals out of this order. I definitely could've mixed my own white rice with theirs and added fried eggs to make a third The staff was incredibly polite! I remember the first I was there, I was looking up at the pictures to decide want I wanted to get and a little girl came from behind the register and gave me a menu. Super random to add on this review but it was super cute and nice of her to do that! I'm super happy I came across this place and will be trying more dishes in the future!

Main parking lot is shared but we parked on the side of the building at their additional lot. Place is lively with people enjoying their food and chatting. We love their sushi and sashimi combo for two so we went back for more. We started with both miso soup and salad included. That was followed by a dragon figure with our meal. Look at the size of the sashimi pieces. It is always fresh and delicious fish. And of course we will he back!

The table itself was reasonably clean, but the rest of the place was a mess. The men's room was filthy. Service was friendly and relatively prompt. Portion sizes for the lunch specials weren't bad, but less than years past. Food quality was also much lower this time around. Rice was dry, hardly any meat in the entrees. On the bright side the chicken teriyaki was actually pretty good. But they made my entree so spicy I couldn't even eat it really, this after me asking for it to be mild due to a medical condition. Also, it seems like a whole new staff in there, so not sure if there has been another change of owners since we last went. Either way, this place is now on my "do not go" list. Seems like it's more a place for bar flies to hang out than a restaurant now. Which is fine for some, but not a place I want to spend my money at. Kind of sad really, cause it used to be good. As another reviewer pointed out, if the place is that much of a mess, makes you wonder what is going on in the kitchen.
