On the day of pickup, our pet was excited as usual, but there was something different this time. Her anxiety was pretty high. Our pet's belongings (blankets and bed) are in the wash (hot temp) as I type this because they smelled horrible. Our pet didn't smell that great either. She has been itching excessively as though she was exposed to fleas. I gave her an extra dose of her preventative flea med just in case. Needless to say, I won't be taking our fur-baby back.
