I dont care about the cookies but need the sauce as their rice is very dry. We paid for delivery & a very generous tip. I rarely write reviews, but I felt like I had to share my experience. Yesterday I ordered two happy hour combos from this restaurant, and everything seemed fine at first. But after I started eating the food, my stomach immediately began to feel strange. I wasn't sure why, so I tried drinking some ginger ale to help and stopped eating the rest of it for the day. Today at lunch, I ate the same leftovers, and soon after my stomach started hurting extremely badly--honestly one of the worst stomach aches I've ever had. As I'm writing this, it's been about an hour and my stomach is still in serious pain, and I've had to keep going to the restroom over and over. What worries me is that earlier today I ate breakfast and felt completely fine. The pain didn't start until after I ate this food again, which makes me feel like something may have been wrong with it or there was some food poisoning. Lucky Dragon is our go-to place for Chinese take out. We've been there at least 20 times and EVERY time they're food is consistent, and you get huge amounts of it! For a very reasonable price! They're boneless spare ribs are sweet, tasty, and tender. That is something I have never experienced at any other place! This is a very small Chinese food restaurant and it does not have a sit-in area. It is more of a takeout spot. The woman at the front is the owner I believe and she is typically friendly. I really want to like this place but the food is inconsistent. I've had good food from here (years ago) but not recently. The last 2 times I have ordered my food was incorrect and they weren't willing to deliver what I actually ordered because they were too busy... Street parking is accessible but not easy as it's on the corner of a very busy street but Walgreens has a parking lot next door. All in all I gave 3 stars for previous service and past food and deducted 2 for the current food and service. read more

I work 10 hour days and drive 35 to 40 minutes to get to work and over an hour in traffic to get home. I ordered food from here and they gave me the completely wrong thing and I had to drive all the way back to the restaurant to go get my correct order after driving all day for work and to and from work. They didn't even offer any sort of discount on anything or any type of compensation for my troubles. They also didn't give me the correct change back. They skipped me out on a dollar which I don't need because I make enough money, but this restaurant is very unprofessional and don't give a shit about the customer. This is my favorite Chinese food place. Don't let the outside fool you, it may be modest but the food is delicious. The fried wontons are perfect for soaking up extra sauce or just by itself. The lunch combo is a lot of food, you can feed two people! An excellent price, especially for the amount of food you get. My favorite is the chicken and broccoli, sauce is good and the broccoli still has some crunch to it. Most importantly the food is consistently good each and every time I order. Was very disappointed when I arrived home and there was no peanuts in the Kung pao chicken. I called them back and reported my findings only to be told, we never put peanuts in Kung pao chicken and I called her out on it. After going back and forth, she admitted they do indeed put peanuts in the Kung pao, but they forgot to add them and offered to run a hand full of peanuts to me. Place is very professional when it comes to handling online orders, allergies and social distance. I specified online that I have allergies to onions and was accommodated. Also I ask for white meat in the generals chicken which was really tasty. When I arrived to pick up my order the door was locked due to the Covid 19 safety. The order was ready with a copy of the printed online receipt. The woman wearing a mask and gloves inside the restaurant asked me to step back behind the line. She then confined my order and placed my order on the chair outside the door for pick up! I felt very safe and please that that this business is practicing Covid 19 safety procedures. Decent local place. Fast delivery. The duck sauce is great. It's not in packets like some other local places. Same with the hot mustard. The duck sauce is a dark variety that has excellent flavor. Duck sauce type is my first STAR and where I judge Chinese joints. My second Star and requirement is a quality egg roll . There's is decent. No red cabbage inside is a disappointment the outer shell is cooked well and the inside filling was still delectible. THIRD Star and standard is Pork Fried Rice. Not dry at all and filled with meat... Other Great items we tried Kung Pao Chicken...Great spice amazing mushrooms General Chao ...So so little E sweet and breast Beef low mein...Different low mein noodles than we are used too but still good flavor. This place used to be called Dragon Island and it was so much better before it changed hands. Everything kind of tastes off, like it has some weird acidic aftertaste that I can't put my finger on. It's edible, but just doesn't taste "right." The egg rolls are weird, the crab rangoon just kind of tasted like off-brand cream cheese, the orange chicken looked like chicken (a plus) but just didn't do it for me. It reminds me of Chinese Food down south, which is typically described by a Northerner as terrible despite it's acceptableness to most people. We have ordered from this Chinese restaurant on several occasions, so this is a more cumulative review, and not based a one-time visit. Favorite dishes from this establishment include the hand-made crab rangoon, which are single-fold wontons well-filled with cream cheese and a crab product of undetermined origin, and cooked to perfection. The only thing missing in the rangoon is a crunchy element, such as finely diced water chestnuts. The next menu favorite is the House Special Mei Fun Noodles. This dish contains fine rice noodles with fresh and crispy stir fried vegetables, egg, and assorted meats (roasted pork, ham, beef) and shrimp. This dish has been consistently good, and is seasoned well. The only item that has been inconsistent is the egg rolls. Of course, these are deep-fried, so proper oil temperature and cleanliness are vital. While we've had some outstanding egg rolls from LD, the last time we ordered the rolls, they were oily and left a rather unpleasant aftertaste (which is often a sign of low oil temperature.) We have taken the time to read other reviews for this restaurant, so we are looking forward to trying other menu items, including the much heralded boneless pork ribs and the chicken wings. Alright, so I buy the Luck Dragon Platter, and this includes 4 crab rangoons, got only 3. Strike 1. Next, as i'm eatting the food I notice the food portion is pretty small. This costs 15$ and it only fills one large chinese takeout container. But that's alright, i don't mind. I continue to eat the food, and I notice a PIECE OF HAIR IN MY FOOD. Strike 2 I immediately call back, and talk to the person who answers the phone, she seems to speak english pretty good, and tells me she doesn't understand me, but she can talk to me almost perfectly. She tells me to call back on saturday when the manager is there. Strike 3, why don't you just want to send me a refund, extra food, or anything to satisfy me.
