What a nightmare this place is. To start there is an employee sorta sleeping in the first massage chair when I walk in. I prolly laid there 8 min with my feet in the water before the girl working the counter came and basically rubbed my hair for like 5 min while talking to people the entire time. I guess she was just trying to do something while waiting on someone else to become available. Eventually she has someone else take over and the new girl is pinching not massaging. She basically throws my legs and feet around and is sloppy with everything. I really felt like I was getting a massage by a crack head. While this is going on another male employee is massaging a female 2 spots over and constantly saying relax relax relax like literally every 3 minutes and then asking her if she's ok. Like dude shut up people are here to relax. While this is going on it also seems their alarm or something is broken because every couple minutes something is going beep beep beep. My massage chick actually stops the massage to answer a phone call on speakerphone and another employee was also laying in there talking on his phone. As I'm walking to the register to pay the crack head like massage chick is like standing in my path waiting on her tip. Jeesh I don't know what to say other than stay away. I will never be coming back to this place first I noticed they did not change the towels on the chairs what most bothered me was that the face towel was reused. The person I got the moment he put his hands on my face it was the most disgusting smell of cigarettes he then started talking to the person next to me and his breath was absolutely foul. The entire massage I was trying to avoid taking deep breaths. He was also very very rough so rough I have bruises on some areas where he applied excessive pressure. When I mentioned it a few times he seemed to stop for a minute then become even more aggressive with the massage. It was absolutely awful I will never be going back. WOW seriously one of the best massage places I've been to. Everytime I come in, I never have to wait. I really recommend their 1HR half body and half feet massage. They apply the right amount of pressure to get out those troublesome knots and sores on your body. Price wise it is very cheap and similar to all the other asian massage places in Houston. They do take credit card here so if you do not have cash don't fret! They do have a bit of trouble speaking english so I just pointed to what I wanted and it was all good. Also, feast your eyes on .. (well.. uh.. it's a little dark so it's hard to feast your eyes on..) a distracting wall-mounted TV playing terrible old-school movies interspersed with commercials and infomercials! (Fortunately, the volume is turned off). But wait! there's more! While you relax under that gross hand towel to get some shuteye, enjoy a happy reunion with your old childhood friend: pinkeye! Yep, that tingly sensation of the bacteria working its way into your eyes is their free gift to you! And would a circus not be complete without it's boisterous crowd? That's right sports fans! We have lots of participants lending to Lucky Feet's grand symphony orchestra! In the wind section: we have the not-so-courteous workers gossiping quite loudly with each other over their not-so-relaxed patrons! They straightened-out the large bath towel on top of which I had lain, and the hand towel that was draped over my face was folded neatly and placed on the head of the massage chair/table (chrable?) ready to be used on the next victi.. err.. customer. I came here by default. All of the other foot massage places in the adjacent shopping center had no availability so I decided to walk over to this one. They only had two other chairs occupied when I got there. It's the normal $20 for a foot massage (which includes the rest of the body) but I got suckered into paying an extra $10 for what the receptionist described as a full body massage. This was by far the worst of the worst massages I have ever received in my entire life. The man's hands reeked of cigarettes as he was "massaging" my face- more like playing a game of tip toe fingers. I felt like he was trying to break my foot as he was digging his knuckles into the soles of my feet. It felt like pure hell. After 30 minutes of torture, my boyfriend and I were lead to a room for the second half of our massage. Now, this isn't unusual. I've been to places that will bring you to a room to massage your posterior side because their chairs lack the hole for you to place your face in. So we went in there with no instructions, they shut the door, came back a few minutes later and told us to take our clothes off.... While watching us from the doorway. While we aren't shy or easily embarrassed people, a little privacy would have been nice. I was so glad once the massage was over, however, I left with feet more tired than I had came with, and shoulders feeling like they needed some chiropractic attention. I should have taken the empty massage place as a sign. Stay away if you don't want to spend money and leave with mental discomfort. The massage therapists were not bad and I respect the work they put into. However, the receptionist/owner was rude and sneaky. I was not around when my husband was checking out. After we came out, I asked him: "did you have a good experience?" He was very upset. We paid $60 for 2 people, which is industry standard. My husband gave $5 tips, while there was no sign of how much is the minimum tip when we walked in. All of sudden the owner's face looked full of anger: "IT'S $5 MINIMUM TIP PER PERSON." And she kept going back and forth: " TOO LITTLE TIP!" She tried very hard, and gave out all she had for a few extra bucks, rather than keeping some potential long-term customers. Lady, where is your manner? Do you ever feel ashamed to trick customers so that you can cut down cost on your end? We did not pay $65 for your rudeness and sneakiness. Think about why there were 3 customers at your place today, including us. It is not enough to simply post some seemingly nice replies "oh we changed our personnel" on Yelp. He's awesome but Every time and I mean every time I go there I leave itchy as heck. It's not just me..my husband and my friends thinks so too. I had an alright time here. I paid $37 for 30 minutes of back and feet. What I liked was the hot stones and how they put me in a room when I went to get the back massage done. I didn't like how most of the workers here barely spoke english so it was difficult to communicate with my choppy chinese. It would have been nice if there were hooks to put things in when you're getting your foot massage and if the restroom was cleaner. There are so many reflexology places offerring the same thing, but the techniques here were very basic and not something that made me feel like a new person. He looked at me and said "NO_ GIVE ME 10" I was shocked... he hadn't spoken any english up to this point - I thought he was confused - so I said - this is your tip (trying to explain) - and he said "I GIVE YOU GOOD MASSAGE - GIVE ME 10" - That is rude and totally out of line. I told him NO and walked out. He threw his hands up and made a loud noise. I realize $20 is cheap for a massage - but isn't that the point of going? Tipping 25% should be appreciated - not yelled out. I'd recommend going somewhere else. Also - he had just come in from smoking & he smelled STRONG like an ashtray - and his hands did too. OMG!! I get a massage every week, and have been to most of the options in Chinatown but Lucky Feet is AWESOME. The owner/manager was super sweet and very accommodating, after making my appointment she text me clear directions. I can't say enough about Tim, my feet were not so nice after a week of camping in Wisconsin, he started off giving me a mini-pedicure and ended up giving me new perfect feet. I did the 2-hour combo so I also got a full body massage. The pressure was perfect, he is very talented, and pampered me like a king. I went in for a $20 reflexology on what I thought was just my feet, but it turned out it was a whole body treat. Just got a full body massage today and it was wonderful. My masseuse is very sweet and she really takes care of me. She focused on every pressure points of mine and I felt rejuvenated when I was done. For $40 you get an hour for full body which is great and they do a good job. The only flaw I have, is that it can be quite loud in there. The room I was in had two beds with a sheet dividing the two so that room I will not go back into, next time I will request a single room with one bed. Well, the place is inexpensive and you get what you pay for. I did the 90 minute with 30 feet and 60 body. The 60 body was more like just the back. She literally spent 60 on my shoulder blades and back, didn't touch my legs (even though I tried to signal to please do my legs). She never had me turn over to do the front. This review is only for the incredible 90 minute full body massage. I have had massages all over the world... And in fact have given professional massages for over 20 years. And I have to say this massage is better than mine! And rank probably the top five as far as technique. One star off for ambience and the fact you are sharing a room with another person... albeit there is a curtain drawn between the two beds. Another thing to consider is that this is a very European or Vietnamese massage where you must be comfortable with partial draping...and where the therapist is not hesitant about pulverizing your lower back, glutes, and hamstrings. Also included is an intense 15 to 20 minute foot massage. Then add the fact that 90 minutes is only $60 and includes hot rock therapy. It was by chance that I ended up to lucky feet. I wanted healing feet which was located just a block down. However, they were closed for holiday. As I came up to luckys entrance, i was pleasantly greeted by a very nice man. I went in for the 20 dollar/hr special, however I upgraded to the 30 dollar special- this included 30 min of feet and 30 of back massage. It was heavenly... What more can I say. The dim lighting and soft music was perfect.I was seated in a low love seat like lounge chair covered with a light blanket. My tired feet were spoiled here for half an hour, soaked in a bucket of herbal hot water. Later, they moved me into an other room for privacy to work on my back- that was my favorite part. The masseur was good about asking if everything was ok. I also liked how they used hot towels to wipe my back down. I was very apprehensive about a man working on me, but it was unwarranted since he was very professional and not once did he make me feel uncomfortable. I gave him a $10 tip. From what i hear that is a very fair amount. They also have a special - buy 6 for $100. Overall, I was very happy when I left. On top of this-usually after getting any type of massage, I would get the biggest headache ever. To my surprise, i didn't have to down any anti-inflammatories afterwards. Furthermore, Ive been to triple tree center also, but I like this place more. They do come pretty close to each other, but i will be choose this place over any other places ive been to. The ambience is great, clean environment. Just the place I need to come to after a rough week at work. The manager is always there and makes sure to inform the staff how I would like my massage (easy, moderate, high pressure). I have been to a bunch of the places and once I found lucky feet I won't bother going back to any others. It is very clean. You can text them for an appointment. You can get a punch card and get 6 massages for the price of 5. They can accommodate a group of 6-8 friends at the same time. Be sure to tell them if you want softer or harder - they will do what you want if you comunicate. Wear yoga type or loose pants that you can roll up or shorts so they can do from your knees down. Also, wear a sleevles shirt under your street clothes so they can do your arms and neck without getting lotion on your clothes. read more
