I was able to call the same day to make an appointment for evening massage for two people. There was barely any customers there. The owner is Chinese but the front desk can speak English so you do not have to worry about the language barrier. My masseuse, her name is Alice, she was very good and strong. I wanted to love it here because I'm tired of driving all the way to Chinatown to get my monthly massages. The prices are great and the office staff is nice - super easy to just call and make a same-day appointment without having to create an "account". I scheduled a 30 min foot + 30 min body for $50 cash. I was a bit disappointed in the quality of massage, though I understand that this can be masseuse-specific. Normally I enjoy deep tissue and will have to tell my masseuse to go 'harder' but this experience was odd in that I would have to ask her to adjust multiple times. The pressure points were off and I ended up just enduring the pain because I didn't want to keep adjusting. This small, tucked in a strip center foot massage spa is surprising great. Don't let the location scare you away. Went with a friend and we opted for the one hour Reflexology massage. It was great ! You'll want to come in comfortable clothes with short sleeves and the ability to roll up your pants to knees or wear shorts. You'll start by taking off shoes/socks and soaking feet in a warm water tub placed at the end of your chair/table. Masseuse will have you place feet in tub and then have you lay down. He will start by massaging your scalp, temples, ears, and then shoulders. You're fully dressed but he will put a warm blanket over you and a cloth over your closed eyes. There's soothing music in the background to add to the ambiance plus dim lighting. He'll work these areas for a while, also massaging upper back. Then he'll remove the tub of water and prop your feet up before starting to massage your legs and feet. Each masseuse seems to have their own style but don't be tricked by the name foot massage- it's scalp, shoulders, back, arms, legs and feet. It's really a great massage. Only reason i did four stars is my Masseuse didn't speak much English and didn't quite understand my initial request to stay away from a certain area. Then when he took his hand away, he didn't gently pull away like you'd expect a masseuse, he just gripped, and then let go. That set the tone of this massage. *Every* transition was abrupt. He was extremely against using lotion, he left the room a total of four times to remove lotion, just to reapply it. Very strange. I even told him after he wiped it off the third time "lotion isn't an option. I need you to GLIDE across my skin, not exfoliate it." Felt like waste of my time. No intuition. Had to tell him too much pressure with elbows instead of him feeling me tense up. Lower back massaged was virtually non existent. Even after several attempts of redirection. Inconsistent moving from right to left, one side would be one pressure, one technique, the other side would be less on both aspects. This was especially true with arm and shoulders when he had me turn to lay on my back. This was not my first bad experience here but my boyfriend loves it, there a lady that really does a great job. This wasn't the same guy I had last time. I called the last guy "elbow master 3000", and left that massage upset as well. My advice is to only ask for the lady masseuse. read more

I absolutely love this place! I've been back here for a long time now, both for the Acupressure Treatment and for the Foot Reflexology. Sciatica has been, quite literally, a pain in the butt ever since I was in grade school, and I've been seeing Mr. Wilson for his Acupressure Treatment. I go in with a lot of tense muscles, and every time I walk out, I feel like the world has been lifted from my shoulders! He uses the right amount of pressure on the pressure points, and whenever it gets unbearable (because I suffer from chronic pain) he will adjust the pressure to what is comfortable and effective. I usually go in for the foot reflexology when I want to maintain my body. I was a bit skeptical at first as to how a foot reflexology would help me, but after going in, I saw how much better I FELT. The pressure is exactly what I need, and yet again, they did adjust everything so I can be comfortable, but at the same time, it will be effective. I've tried all the therapists here, and I can say each has their own little technique, but they all get the job done. I would definitely recommend this if you really just want to relax and feel AMAZING when the hour is up. The setting and staff: as a designer myself, I feel so welcomed when I go in. The colour of the walls and the placement of everything is perfectly suited to those who have to wait to go in (since they also welcome walk-ins). I LOVE this place. I was driving home from work one day and was stuck at the light on Main when I glanced to my right and saw this place in the corner of a little strip center and made a mental note to come by for a massage. Best decision ever.!. I had what I can call the best massage of my life here several times. The masseuse really cares to ask what your trouble spots are and gives tips on how to manage them at home. I do feel though that the senior therapist is probably better at acupressure than a typical western massage though. Please read all of this if you're thinking about going here. I went to this place based on yelp reviews and upon leaving I have no idea how anyone could rate it more than one star receiving the massage I did. The massage room was sparse with only a white bath towel to lay on and another white bath towel to cover you. I had to ask for a paper cover to go over the face hole as it was clear that it wasn't single use. I've never been to a place that didn't at least have a sheet. Ok, well I shouldn't expect a lot for $60. Now to the meat of why I have 1 star. I was informed my therapist was deaf and I could communicate with him via hand signals. That instantly made me uncomfortable but I didn't say anything as I didn't want to be rude to someone with a disability. The first 25 minutes were OK, although very he was very jerky with me and I couldn't communicate it was too rough past a thumbs down for less pressure. Didn't seem to work. After finishing my back, He went to wipe the oil off and went down into my underwear with the towel. Like all the way down to my vagina. Ummmm ok. I felt very uncomfortable at this point but still thought it might have been a mistake. I flipped over and he started on my leg inching closer and closer to my groin until he started to move my underwear to the side. I immediately stopped the exam with hand signals and felt so gross. I sat up quickly and my breast popped out of the towel and he laughed! As I got dressed I noticed some of the oil got in my vagina and was burning. There is NO REASON a massage should get oil inside of you. After dressing, He followed me to the front of the office trying to make sure I wasn't alone thinking i wouldn't say anything with him standing right there. Even tried to collect my money! I reported him to the manager there and it didn't seem to be taken seriously. A formal complaint has been filed with the Texas board. read more

If I could leave NO stars I would!!! I've come here before for a foot massage while I was pregnant and it was good so my husband and I decided to come again for a full body massage! First of all the male who did my massage was WAY TO ROUGH! I was saying ouch and moving a lot due to the pain I was feeling but he continued to do it roughly! When we paid the lady charged our card an THEN asked "did y'all want to leave tip" we said yes and she said "cash preferred" so my husband gave what he had and the girl in the front said "oh is that all? After being stuck inside and working from home for months with the pandemic, my back and foot started hurting and my neck and shoulder knots just got worse. I came here based on reviews and was extremely satisfied! I didn't get the name of my masseuse but she has some strong hands for a little lady. (Would recommend you say something if you are sensitive though, it's not fair to deduct stars if you are not upfront with your pressure preferences. And be aware of possible language barrier) I could tell she found points in my shin areas when she kept going over the same spots and I had knee surgery so she knew the stuck spots without me telling her anything. Pretty sure it is supposed to be a bit painful when you have that much stuck energy/blood flow there so I just bared there pain. She also got my neck and shoulders super well and the bottom of my scalp which started holding a lot of tension there as well. I called to ask if I can walk-in or would they prefer an appointment- they preferred the appointment so I booked for a 90 minute session. I arrived on time, checked in and went to the back. The foot reflexology chairs are in the center (open space) while the massage tables have their own private rooms. Because I had a 90 minute session he asked if I wanted more focus on my feet or back- I said feet. I woke up this morning feeling pretty tense so this massage was at the right time! The guy started off pretty good as he went from my head to my neck, face, shoulders then feet. Weirdly, I noticed only a small drop (literally a small drop) of lotion was used on each area. Once he started on my feet and legs the pressure was so intense I couldn't bear the pain. He heard my numerous "ouches" and eased up. I kept thinking I know my legs will be sore tomorrow. After I turned over he spent the last session on my back. What a complete waste of time. The amount of attention that was given in the beginning was not the same in my back. Not one drop of lotion was used and it definitely felt like a rush job. Once he finished I normally sit still for a minute then ease up slowly but I shot up so quickly. Majority of the reviews are good and they're running a $25 foot reflexology special so I'd still recommend you try them if you're in the area but I don't think I'll be returning. read more

Went there for a body massage because I'm getting married next week and I needed to relax and calm my back pain. First, I felt uncomfortable while the person doing the massage moved the sheets (I felt like I was left too uncovered and the massager was a male) so I did not quite relax. The massage wasn't anything special compared to previous experiences I had in other places. Second, the massager spilled baby oil close to my clothes and did not mention it, so when the massage was over and I put my clothes on, I noticed that my shoes were stained with baby oil. I showed my shoe to the front desk lady, tried to clean it (unsuccessfully), apologized, and they charged me full price for the massage. I came out of there more stressed than what I was before. I'm never going back to Heights Reflexology (and I have to buy a new pair of shoes). read more

I go in and everything seems fine at first, generally a clean place is the best which this place looks pretty clean to me, however the experience wasn't as pleasant, the lady who gave me a massage was really rough I understand when you massage you need to get knots or relax muscles with certain amount of pressure but let me tell you this lady wanted to break my back, the foot massage was more like a foot rub however it really didn't feel as if she was actually making a difference on my feet. But with that being said the massage experience I rate it a 1 because I left worse than when I went in, my back is hurting even more now, and lastly I find it pretty rude to ask for a tip, If I'm not leaving one it's because I didn't like the service but for the lady to tell me "where's my tip" after I paid I was shocked, my sister came with me and said "that's not professional at all" and then after I spent the $50 for the service all I had in cash was $10 and I ask for change to give her $5 at least since it seemed like she needed it, she started to say that $5 wasn't enough and I'm just shocked I gave her the $10 and left, very unprofessional place and will not be going here again read more
