There was two people in there. They finished up and left in 20-30 minutes. I inquired about some of the t-shirt sales. One was featuring a squirrel cook off. $10 older shirt Oct 2025. The only size they have in stock is a medium. Sad face. The TV was off. The jukebox springs to life unprompted reminding us that it was there. We each had 2 beer and one shot. Or ticket was $18.50. At the bar I work for it would have been $26.50. The outdoor space had been cleaned up. The old bar was removed. The food shack had been cleaned out. The covered area opened up. Although the scaffolding was still present and probably holding the roof up. The lawn area inside the enclosure was groomed. The access to the grassy area outside by the bayou was restricted and still overgrown. Edit to add. The lawn closest to the property is cleaned up. The grass closest to the bayou is not.

The music genre rotates from country and western to Cajun Zydeco to 80s rock . No hip hop music. There are four or five breweries in a row. Sometimes, on weekends, there's a big concert in the back ally. It's called Hurricane Ally. It is a sophisticated ally/entertainment complex (check website for line-up). Often there is also smaller Music offerings in each brewery. On weekdays, it is more classy. There is usually music two or three nights during weekdays. Tuesdays and Thursdays are the most common days for music, but sometimes they also have music on Monday and Wednesdays. Check the website for the lineup. The midweek music is usually more sophisticated.... a high-quality musician playing a guitar or keyboard. Jimmie Wooten and Haley Brook are 2 of my favorites. The Smash Burger at Seventh Tap is outstanding if you are hungry. This is just a great place to sit back and relax, enjoy good food, drink, and music and have an enjoyable time.

Lots and lots of people here, especially on summer weekends. For those maybe not from the south, the heat and certainly the humidity might seem overwhelming as this is an outdoor live music venue. Most of the acts seem to be cover bands but also mostly, they seem to hail from the Dallas Metroplex and are actually quite good. Honestly, these Dallas area cover bands, or tribute bands as some are called, are almost as good as the bands they are covering or paying tribute to. Seriously. And at my age and at this point in my life (cough, lazy, cough, cheapskate) I'd rather see these bucket list bands in cover form here for free than pay beaucoup bucks to see the real deal, probably in Dallas. Recently, I saw the Maroon 5 cover band from Dallas, Animals, close out the summer season here, and they were outstanding. I don't even really like Maroon 5 that much but these guys in Animals were just spectacular. Sounded just like the cd or radio. I mean, just like it. And what a crowd for that one. Packed. Bossier loves its cover bands. Hurricane Alley is safe and makes for an enjoyable night out. Food and drinks are readily available for purchase at these all-ages events. BeauJax Crafthouse and Frozen Pirogue are right there. Fridays and Saturdays these free shows go from 7pm to 11pm. Parking in the lots around the venue is free. There's also a huge outdoor flatscreen tv on the wall showing any major sporting event. Just be prepared to stand for the duration, unless you bring your own chair, which you also can do. Being outdoors here, it's also nice for me to smoke a good cigar while enjoying these bands. I hope they can bring an Arcade Fire cover band from Dallas here soon. I think she had just started 2-3 weeks before. Still one pool table. Juke box. 4 poker machines. Karaoke at 8. Saturday is guest appreciation day. Some kind of food is served every Saturday. On this day it was meatball sliders. We helped ourselves to 2 each. They were pretty tasty. Prices are competitive but still , it can get expensive when you start adding shots. We did. And at 10:30 we cashed out a $58 ticket.

For the next event- a band I didn't know and don't remember- I was RIGHT UP FRONT. And the lead singer seemed to take a liking to my friend, so she got special attention. That was fun. For both events the beer was expensive, but not hard to come by. The ticket prices vary by venue but aren't unreasonable. I do recommend this venue if you really want to see 'that band ' .

An outdoor venue that in the past has hosted a…read moremore diverse selection of live, musical entertainment (Ted Nugent, Sebastian Bach, Better Than Ezra...Jamie Lynn Spears!!!), but as of late has skewed more, and maybe more naturally, towards the country music genre. This venue is located on the same compound, and directly adjacent to the BBQ pit, Silver Star Smokehouse & Saloon. It is in the rural realm of Dallas Cowboys Quarterback Dak Prescott's hometown of Haughton, but is still in Bossier City, right off Highway 80 in close proximity also to Harrah's Louisiana Downs horserace track and casino and hotels. The Bossier City Police Department maintains a friendly and welcoming, but heavy presence here during shows. The setup here is amphitheater-style, and actually makes for a quite enjoyable and intimate live music experience. We were situated primarily and relatively in the back of the house, as it were. We could see, and definitely hear the acts just fine. And though, it's the middle of the summer, thankfully, even with all the bodies in attendance, the stage lights, and other various lighting systems overhead, it never got too killin' hot. There are plenty of long beer tubs, iced down and adequately staffed around the area, making it very easy to grab an ice cold tall boy! There is also a two-sided, long bar in a tiny saloon close by, also adequately staffed to mix up your favorite batch of poison. There are beers-a-poppin', drinks being slung, and barbacks running every which way. The place is in motion, and running like a top. This is a solidly-run production. Parking is free, self-service, no valet, and there's plenty of it. There are three clearly-marked parking sections that distinctly go the distance from closest to The Stage, to furthest away. And in that order, they are as follows: Paved asphalt, then Gravel, and then lastly, the lawn (or grass). For Pat Green, last night's phenomenal performance, we parked in the outer reaches of the grass. (Pat Green? Grass?...Green? Grass? Buuuuaaaahahahahaha!!!...C'mon, people!!! Work with me here!!) But even if you park at a distance on the property, the walk is a pleasant and short one to the entrance. Ticket prices are agreeably kind to the ol' wallet, and I would gladly return for another event at this location!

It's locally known as a biker bar, but from what I've seen its just a low key local bar with friendly folks hanging out, and having a drink, and anyone and everyone are welcome. Coyotes has become my go to watering hole and it's always fun.
