When I spoke to him, he denied it and when he opened the machine he claimed he found nothing in there and it must have went down the drain. He pretended to not be able to hear me when on the phone and then he was laughing to others about the situation in the background. He blamed me for leaving my license in the wash. Wouldn't reimburse me for my licence renewal and was dismissive and sarcastic. Go the extra mile and give your business to someone else.

Just around the corner from my place, I decided to take a chance with the route 112 laundromat. Janet, the older woman at the desk with the long white hair was very hospitable and welcoming. My first impression made me feel more like family than a laundry client. She assured me that my clothes were in good hands with her and that she had years of professional experience handling delicate and high end clothing. I had zero qualms after speaking with her and now Janet has a life long customer. When I come back to patchogue for Thanksgiving, I'll be trusting my clothes with Janet. Unfortunately, my summer excursion went by way too fast but I could enjoy it without worry once I saw the phenomenal care to detail Janet paid to my garments. A+ service with a family feel and an above and beyond experience. I'm recommending all of my friends who live in the area to trust Janet with their clothes.

I've actually been unable to get the smell OUT of some clothes so I stopped going there, because it smells like old lady perfume or something and is strong. Once, I did my sheets there and had to re-do them all, because my bed smelled like a herd of old ladies or weird white ladies with bad taste from department stores were sleeping in it. I used to always go to the other one on Main Ave. -- which has a severe lack of washers because the staff uses them and does not care if there are none for customers and will let stuff sit in dryers for a considerable amount of time, even if people are waiting to use them. They suggested East Ave, and like I said, great facility, great people, but I don't understand the perfume smell. If it happened once, I'd not complain -- but it happened more than once, and I really don't like the time waste of doing laundry as it is, so having to do it twice is just painful to me. Maybe they'll look into it. I know I have a bit of a wolf nose, but it IS strong and my husband noticed it, too, since I never smell like old white lady.
