The braids are all different sizes, in huge chunk sections with uneven, non-square parts. My hair is already poking out of the braids after just a short time, and I was told the style should last 4 to 6 weeks. I honestly doubt it will last 2. I was also informed by the owner while in the chair that I would be charged an extra $80 for 8 packs of hair used in my head. I was not told to bring hair nor is it listed to bring hair on the website. I spoke with the owner days in advance before my appointment. The hair is extremely heavy and not what I asked for. Before I paid, the owner, Dr. Leshell M Dennis looked at the back of my head and took photos of it herself. She saw exactly what my hair looked like. When I reached out afterward, she admitted in her messages that she knew it was the wrong style. She was fully aware before she ever accepted my money. When I requested a refund, I was only offered a redo, which I declined and was ignored by the owner. Please do your research before booking here.

Everyone that I spoke to was very friendly. Emmy made feel very comfortable and welcome. Emmy cut my hair perfectly and I was done. I don't know what any of their other service are since being a guy I just get my haircut. Looks to me like a well run and we'll organized salon. I have used Heather and she is great, but now go to Mimi and my husband has his nails done and cuticles trimmed and loves the way she does his. She does a gel American manicure on my nails and really takes her time. I have tips on this time and my nails look amazing. She also did an awesome job on my toes. During the winter, I usually do gel on my toes so I can put my shoes back on and in the summertime, I do a regular polish on my toes with my sandals already on before she paints them. It is not inexpensive, but so worth it!

You can look for that review elsewhere if you want. I was ecstatic that Becky was still here as she was my hairstylist for at least 6 years prior to The Shutdown. I found her after my other stylist moved to up state NY. I can't travel there to get my haircut. But I can travel to Ocean Pines when visiting OC. Don't be put off by the look of business sign (needs some sprucing up) or the exterior as the stylists inside are wonderful, professional and talented group, many have been there for years. I personally go to Becky Ange and from the 1st visit years ago to today, she listens, knows how you look when you walk in & works with you & what you want, either a huge change or keep what you have, but just improve it. My hair always looks beautiful and I always leave feeling so good about myself. I went back to her today as I was tired of cutting it myself & my attempt to find someone closer to home did not work out well & I desperately needed her & ONLY her to fix a bad haircut. She is excellent! I've since been back a few times. She listens to what I want in a haircut & adjusted my color until I was satisfied. The prices are higher than NJ, but good work is worth it.
