This is the absolute WORST mani pedi I have ever had! I haven't been to Lucky Nails in a long time and now I remember why and will never go back. I had my nails done (gel French manicure, regular pedicure) on Thursday evening at 6ish. By the next day, half of my thumb nail had already come off in one big peel. On Saturday part of my index finger peeled off, by Sunday my middle finger nail had peeled off. As of today (Monday), now my left had has chipped and peeling! I'll spare you the pic of my toes, but it started to get red just past the cuticle on my toe so I used a cream on it for a couple of days. Uggg so annoying after spending $100, I would love my money back to get it done properly elsewhere. I've had this exact same service at Luxury Nails in Lenox and have never had anything like this happen. I'll stick with that salon from now on. read more

How they schedule is a joke. If you schedule online (like you should be able to) you may or may not have an appointment. You may or may not receive a confirmation or maybe a telephone call. The owner is very dismissive and rude. He gets annoyed if you question him about why this kept happening. He has no customer service skills whatsoever. My friends and I went here and I asked for simple white acrylic nails. I was sat and told I should get gel because it is better (which is not true I get my nails done all the time). When she told me the price of 75, I told her I wanted acrylic and she said in a rude tone, "Why I just told you gel was better" I told her that's not what I wanted and her whole entire demeanor changed. She was incredibly rude and aggressive with my hands, she hit my skin with the sander several times. She also started trimming her own nails while she was doing mine! Disgusting. I have never had service so rude and they scammed my friend for 95 dollar nails that should've been 60. They very clearly do not care about their customers and are very money hungry. Very disappointed. Have been a customer for over a year. After a few technicians that were not good, finally found one I liked. Made an appointment for a Sunday at 11:00. Earliest one my tech had available. I live 40 minutes away. Received confirmation day prior via text. Had multiple errands to do. Got half done, drove to salon, got there at 10:55. My tech was working on someone else. Was told my appointment was 10:45! I showed him the text and to my surprise there was a second one, that said see you at 10:45, have no idea when it was sent, which I never saw. I was asked, what time can you come tomorrow. I told them I can't. I work 50 hours a week an hour away. Never offered an apology, explanation for changing the time, who changed it or why I wasn't called. They never even tried to fit me in later that day. I would have thought that when I didn't show up after never being late for over a year, and they obviously changed the time, they would have at least called! Plus it was only 15 minutes. I have waited in excess of 20 minutes past my appointment numerous times!! They just lost a faithful, generous tipping customer! read more

Very disappointed. My nails are disgusting. The acrylic is lumpy and the polish is dirty, uneven, and smudged. I sat under the dryer for a half hour. The fact that I paid $30 for an acrylic fill literally turns my stomach. prices arent the same as when you call vs. when you go there. Women get their nails done to feel good about themselves, and to walk away feeling embarrassed is sad. I work very hard for my money and I will never go there again nor will I recommend this place to anyone. The woman ( coco )that did my nails didn't speak to me once. So I sat there in complete silence feeling awkward the whole time. if I asked a question I got a mumbled response. Also I brought my daughter with me for some girl time and her nails are equally as terrible. Last time I went I asked for a matte top coat, she said only gel has a matte top coat so she convinced me to spend the extra $12 for gel polish for a shiney top coat. unreal.. If I could give zero stars, I would... I'm never one to write a bad review, EVER, but my experience with Lucky Nails was anything but good.. Made an appointment, got seated 20 minutes AFTER my appointment.. No big deal, I have some patience.. I asked for what I thought would be pretty simple. Acrylic with a black french tip. The pic had jewels, I said no to them. Then the tech asked if I wanted gel polish. I said NO. I received gel anyways, unbeknownst to me & was charged an extra $20 for it.. He was so rude... he was extremely rough with my hands & hurt me even after I had told him he hurt me. He BUTCHERED my cuticles, which almost a month later, are still healing... He rushed through these nails.. It took 30 minutes for him to do them. Then when he wanted me to move from the chair to the drying stations, he pointed to them.. I said "what?" and he said "MOVE" & was extremely unfriendly to me... never again will i waste another cent at this place. I felt extremely uncomfortable the entire time I was there & one of the workers was hocking & gagging stuff up while we were sitting right there & she was relaxing in one of the pedicure chairs while people kept coming in. Disgusting... Highly unprofessional. 10/10 would NOT recommend. I happily got them fixed at a new place on Hubbard Ave which is my go to place now! read more

I was basically ignored. they sat me at a pedicure chair ( didn't fill up the basin) and left me sitting there for 20 minutes. This place is a joke- I walked out. So today I went to this nail salon to get a gel nail set with two of my sisters (one got acrylics and the other a pedicure) we made an appointment for 1:00 and didn't get worked on until 1:45 I'm not too mad about it though because all of the workers there were working very hard and they were considerate about our timing. That is why I only gave them 3 out of five stars. But form the inside it is a very clean and eye Appealing establishment. The workers are nice and have great conversations. The price low and they have a water tank and coffee station which is very nice. Getting my nails done personally was a great way to unwind after the crazy holidays and the person working on my nails made me feel relaxed and refreshed. So I would come again and tell my friends and family more about it. But next time I will come when I don't have a time budget. read more

I was not even slightly impressed. I called early in the day for a mani & pedi. I got there a little early and tried to find the color I wanted with no luck. I'm from Long Island & all the nail places by me have a tremendous color selection. Ok... I had a pic of the color I wanted & figured I'd ask for assistance when I met the person doing my nails. They were obviously pretty busy . I was a little concerned because I had an appt following this one. I waited about 15-20 minutes then the man who was going to do my nails came over. I waited for an hour and a half before they STARTED me. Even after I said something he kept telling me 5 minutes. both my friends who only had scheduled a full set and fill, were taken in and done before me. and To top it off the tech I got was extremely rushed And clearly more worried about getting off work since I was there until 930 at night and was the last customer in the store. on top of that I couldnt make my friends wait two plus hours so I got my nails done alone with a nail tech I was extremely uncomfortable with. I'm very disappointed with this place first off the people yes they were very nice to us being that we only went here twice I left them a good review as you can see on the first time we went there But the last time we went there a week ago or so was my concern don't get me wrong they were friendly it's a beautiful place the seats a great equipment is nice and luxurious but you can't judge a book by its cover and looks don't mean nothing The job they did it is nothing compared to a smaller place that looks nothing compared to this so a long story short my wife and I went here a week and a half ago Our second visit i got a pedicure and my wife got a full set of gel all of her nails fell off after six days the whole thing only one thumb was left not to mention last time Oneil fell off the first day mind you she doesn't do much with her hands for it to fall off like that and they're not acrylic and we paid $100 total between my pedicure and her nails and a $15 tip my pedicure was even worse all the calluses on the bottom were not removed but I paid for them to be removed that night I looked and said you know all this is still on my feet but I thought she did her best job because I don't get pedicures often I just started going so we decided to go again today to get her nails fixed and I said you know what let me get another pedicure maybe if I keep up with it because I didn't like how my foot pretty much look the same after going to this place The lady at Cee's nails under price right next to Joann fabrics it's brand new and they did amazing the lady quote and quote thought I was lying when I told her I got a pedicure a week ago she said it looks like nothing was done and she was shocked and she was actually curious where I got it done and I told her didn't amazing job on my feet they actually look surprisingly so good there's not one piece of dry skin callus nothing and my wife's nails look great and so far they are not showing any signs of problems and the best part about all of this is they're cheaper i'm not just a little bit I'm talking way cheaper we only paid $80 her nails were $40 for a full set of gel as opposed to 68 at Lucky nails and they fell off less than six days later and my pedicure was $32 and at this place it was the same price but she did amazing job worth every penny I would've given her an extra 10+ a tip just because of how good she did My opinion is never ever go to this salon like I said I'm giving them two stars because they were very friendly and the place is nice and clean but other than that if you want a good quality job then you need to go to Cee's nails I mean I'm just a guy don't take my opinion for it if you don't want but my wife gets her nails done her whole life and she agreed with the lady and a professional that said my feet look like they weren't done a week ago and she wasn't saying it for competition she literally felt as if they were never done lol good luck read more

I agree with other reviewers, that unless you are a regular, you are treated with rude indifference and made to wait for no obvious reason, even with an appointment. Forget about feeling even slightly pampered (isn't that the point) or even acknowledged as a human being, expect to be met with cold indifference and a " how can I visibly express that I could care less about your experience and can't wait til it's over, so you can pay and get out" attitude. Worse upper lip wax experience I've ever had. Person slathered the hot wax all over my upper lip, no precision and no tact. I had to firmly decline (several times before she got the message) having my eye brows done. Then she proceeded to coat my under lip and entire chin area with the wax. As I vehemently told the worker I did not want her doing that area, repeatedly telling her to stop, she put on that area what I thought was a cloth (presumably to wipe the wax off) just to learn (the hard way) that it was the paper for waxing. Needless to say I ended up having areas of my face waxed that I never intended or wanted to have done and will now pay the price of that for the future. I scheduled an appointment to come get my nails done- a full set of tips and acrylics. The interior is well decorated/visually appealing, clean, and comfortable. I had just planned on getting a normal set but Nicole, my nail technician, found gel polish that matched very closely with the OPI color I had selected. She was quick, precise (and continually checking in to make sure I was happy) and most importantly she was gentle. So many places I've been to are super rough with my hands and even make me bleed. No such worries here. Another thing is I have essential tremor that makes my hands shake. Nicole was very nice and didn't say anything mean or draw attention after I mentioned it to her.
