We were still deciding which pedicures to get because we had dinner reservations later and wanted to make sure we had enough time. After standing there for another couple of minutes while we decided, he told us, "There's another nail salon across the street if the price of our services is going to be an issue." We left immediately. At no point did we say or imply that price was an issue--we were simply deciding which service would work with our schedule. His assumption, tone, and the rushed nature of the interaction made us feel extremely unwelcome and unwanted. The comment felt like an ignorant and intentional microaggression, especially considering there was no reason for him to assume we couldn't afford their services. I see that most of the reviews here are positive, but unfortunately, our experience was anything but.
