I love this place! We come here when we can because it's an hour north of us. The food is consistently good and the service is phenomenal! Had the worst day yesterday. Decided to take a run up there with the fiance. We locked in an 8:45pm reservation bc it showed they close at 9. We get there at about 8:35 and the doors are locked but we could see people still eating inside. (Be patient and keep reading!).... So we go around back and side and then go ask the bar tender who says the kitchen is closed. We explain we just drove an hour and that we had a reservation. He kindly gets the general manager. Manager didn't see our reservation on the system but that didn't matter. He had us seated right away. Made sure we were fed and gave us a comp for an appetizer for next time. Waitress explained that it's slow season and the storms also affect that. So they've been closing by 8:30-8:45 this last week. Any time we've ever come here and there's been a small snafu (bc it's real life and stuff happens), they instantly handle it and always make sure we're happy! They made a truly crap day have some light at the end of the tunnel! Thank you to the manager, bar tender and waitress who was a sweetheart! read more

My husband and I always enjoy dining at this place. We especially love their SALMON POKE TACOS which are made of Scottish Salmon, Dynamite Aïoli, Guacamole, Truffle, Eel Sauce. We came to Lucky Shuck for Mother's Day lunch and had the best time! Lucky Shuck has the most gorgeous view of the Jupiter Lighthouse and the chillest, most nautical vibes. This is a wonderful place to bring out of towners to or have a day or night out with your tribe! Our server was super sweet and able to offer any suggestions we needed. They have an awesome cocktail and beverage list and tons of yummy food options to choose from. We had fresh raw oysters and lots of fresh seafood and were not disappointed! We are traveling the Atlantic coast, and Jupiter was one of our stops this week. Earlier this morning we did the Jupiter Inlet " Lighthouse tour. What a coincidence, that we selected this restaurant based off of previous Yelp reviews. We had no idea that while it sits on the water, it's across from the lighthouse. The view was terrific. For ambiance, and the best experience, definitely request an outside table. Without an Open Table reservation, we were told it'd be a 25 mins wait. It was actually less, but we had enough time to grab a drink at the bar. They have great happy hour specials during the week. Our server, Bridget was great. She was prompt and knowledgeable with the features oysters selection for the day. I ordered the fried oysters in a half shell. Full description is under the photo. They were great. I definitely recommend ordering with a side salad or a vegetable. It did not fill me up, so I ate some fries off of my husband's plate. The menu is diverse enough, I had two guests with me that did not eat seafood. They ordered the Cajun chicken and the fried chicken sandwich (slaw on the side). Great location and large selection of drinks. My friends enjoyed the poke bowls and oysters. Drinks were well made. Service was not anything outstanding once we got our food, wasn't many check ins. I will say I am not big on seafood so I ordered side of shrimp fried rice and cauliflower appetizer. Shrimp fried rice was pretty good, didn't care for the bacon flavor as it was a bit overpowering. The cauliflower- zero flavor, soggy, greasy, wasn't crunchy and didn't think it was coated until I tried to cook a portion the next day in air fryer and it left a ton of grease. Birthday dessert- underwhelming. Would suggest good spot for happy hour and drinks and def the view! read more

The atmosphere here is 5 star. To be situated in such a beautiful spot is just wonderful, located on the water with a view of the lighthouse. The service and the food are also top notch. I had the oysters to begin, they were wonderful and come with a few vinegarette sauce options. Washed it down with live and let die cocktail. It was a beautiful color and tasted great, not too sweet. For my entree I tried the pecan macadamia crusted tile fish, and wow was it flavorful. At the table we also had the pretzels, shrimp and ribs, along with numerous other entrees, as we were a party of 12. To end we had the beignets, the caramel dipping sauce was absolutely to die for. As for the prices, they are definitely steep. I would say compatible to what you'd find in the Miami area. I can't imagine paying $20 for a burger. You are definitely paying for the atmosphere. The parking is also hard to find, unless you want to valet. The views and taste definitely outweigh the cons. They were accommodating to our fairly large party and the service was lovely. Excellent service, food, and ambiance . Bridgette was very friendly and took great care of us; the floor manager Melissa dropped by to check in as well. Even Gabriella at the host stand gave us a memorable experience. Awesome snow crab legs and oysters; some of the best Brussel sprouts I've ever had. I really enjoyed Lucky Shuck. I was looking to get out of town on a lazy, Sunday-Funday, and decided to venture North to Jupiter. An early dinner landed us under a breezy-cool patio on the Loxahatchee River overlooking a picturesque lighthouse. The setting was simply perfect. My early dinner started with ahi tuna poke tacos ($11). These bite-sized tacos were filled with a bit of avocado and sesame seasoned fresh tuna. The order came with 2. Do yourself a favor, and ask for more than one order. I could have gobbled down 25 of these delicious little app's no problem. Next, we shared lobster and shrimp Dy-No-Mite ($16). There was supposedly quinoa somewhere in the dish, but I did not notice. This is a take on a Japanese restaurant's popular crispy rice topped with spicy tuna. Like the poke taco, this is a thumbs up. The lobster and shrimp topping was ordinary "seafood salad" that you would get at an upscale deli, but ever so slightly elevated in flavor and texture. The star of the dish was the crunchy grits. They were both crispy and creamy at the same time. Paired together, this was a total hit. Gumbo ($15) was super flavorful, made with crawfish and andouille sausage so be mindful if you don't care for spice. Lucky Shuck's rendition was thick from a very dark roux typical of authentic gumbo. The addition of "dirty" rice rounded out the creole staple. Purists know that real dirty rice is made with chopped gizzards, this is not that; just cajun spiced rice. Overall, I'd give this soup a 4.5 out of 5. Next, we had Lucky Shuck's roasted oysters (oysters roasted with tiny flecks of bell pepper, celery, and onion, along with a bit of Grana Padano cheese and Tasso ham). Down in New Orleans, they do a similar dish only it's charbroiled. Lucky Shuck, was trying to emulate the vastly popular dish here, however, I don't think their rendition succeeded. What makes the real dish so great is the actual charbroil. When you charbroil something, the flame will "roast the oyster" and melt the topping from the bottom, up. Here, LS's roasted oysters are oven baked, so the oyster is only warmed through rendering them neither cooked nor raw. I was disappointed. Smoked wings ($15) were good, not great, and perhaps a bit overly smoked to my liking. I was disappointed that I received only one flat and the rest drumettes. To compensate for the overly-smoked flavor, I doused the wing in their delicious white Alabama barbecue sauce. Accompaniments were typical and unnecessary. Pickled carrots were unappealing and soggy and the celery had no point. Why does every chicken wing order need carrots and celery as a garnish? Lastly, we ordered a pretty decent cup of coffee and beignets for dessert. Our excellent waiter, Charles suggested we go with the skillet cookie, but we went rogue and ordered their soft, fried cinnamon-coated (no powdered sugar) New Orleans treat. I'm always a sucker for hot dough, and these did not disappoint. Alongside the beignets were rum and apple drizzle sauces which were oh-so-scrumptious and drinkable. 5 freshly baked beignet's come in an order. I took the last 3 home with some extra sauce. I can't wait for tomorrow to indulge again! Lucky Shuck has free valet parking which is good because this little area of Love Street really gets a crowd. We will definitely be back. read more

There are dozens of casual restaurants with views of the Jupiter Inlet in Palm Beach Gardens, Jupiter and Tequesta. The menu offerings are remarkably similar. We were, however, delighted to see the broad, deep and interesting food menu at Lucky Shuck. The deviled eggs, smoked chicken wings and "Nawlins-style BBQ Shrimp" all looked excellent - and were devoured by the folks who ordered them. My favorite was the Key West Pink Shrimp Stack. The perfectly cooked and diced shrimp were spread over a bed of mango-infused avocado and red onion under a layer of arugula. The really neat add-on was that the whole dish was surrounded by a Cajun Bloody Mary; delicious and refreshing. The Lucky Club Salad was delicious and the Caviar Ranch dressing something different. Although the grilled shrimp with it were delicious, I was just a bit disappointed that there were only four. The Wahoo main was perfectly cooked. On our server's suggestion I ordered it "A La Marie Laveau" style. A great suggestion. The fish was served on a bed of thin asparagus, accompanied by marinated crawfish all under a Creole Hollandaise sauce. The beer list was in a class by itself. Along with many familiar beers, the list included dozens of craft and micro brewery offerings. I even found two amber ales that I was not familiar with. Before closing, the views of the Inlet were very nice. All in all, I think that Broadway Joe and his partner threw a touchdown! read more

If you want UNDERCOOKED FISH and subsequently getting falsely accused of SEXUAL HARRASSMENT, Lucky Shuck is the spot to go. I took my neighbor, an 87 year old retired Hospice doctor here for dinner on his birthday. He ordered the wahoo and it was raw, so we politely sent it back...no big deal When the waitress (Marissa) returned it the plate was missing sides so he asked for it. Several minutes later the Manager came to our table and said the waitress was upset that she was "touched". We were dumbfounded...I asked for details and she refused to give them and said she was going to warn everyone at the tables around us too that touching is not allowed (which she never did). We asked for the check and she told us "If you come back you are not allowed to touch the staff". Absolute lunatic, accusing a 87 year old retired doctor in the middle of a restaurant of inappropriate behavior. Maybe he touched her arm to get her attention, I did not see it, regardless, it could not have been more innocent. On the way out at the valet stand 2 men and a woman were waiting on another woman to join them from Lucky Shuck. As it turns out she became violently ill after eating there and threw up in the bathroom. Guess her food was undercooked too.... I highly recommend avoiding Lucky Shuck unless you want a horrific dining experience. read more

Had a great meal and time here with a friend and at the bar! We came in for the happy hour specials which cover both drinks and food. We got a dozen oysters for $12 and a dozen smoked wings for the same price. That was just the appetizer! Was washing everything down with the "Fresh" IPA that was delicious! Lucky shuck, say whaaaat? After living in Miami for the last three years, it's hard to believe I haven't made the trip to #jupiterflorida, just a little over an hour drive away. Lucky Shuck checked off all of those boxes, and earned extra points for the lighthouse view that turns on as the sunset falls past the shady palm trees on their outdoor patio. This place was interesting. so many items on the menu sounded good but didn't look appetizing in pictures. I ended up ordering the salmon poke bowl. While the portion looks small, it is filling. but it could have been that I had oysters and the break before which filled me up. The salmon was tasty and went well with the pickled onions and cucumbers. The red peppers were good but I could have done without. The guacamole definitely did not go with this meal. It looked unappetizing. I would have rather had sliced avocado. I was told the jerk rubbed fish meal was good. You get to choose the fish you want at Market price. The oysters and bread as apps were good. The bread was soft and it came with a fluffy butter. The bread was never offered but because I saw a picture on Yelp that said "complimentary bread" I decided to ask. Then the server brought it out. For drink, I tried the Broadway- house infused Strawberry gin, pimms cup, aperol, lemon, cucumber. It was alright, lacking a bit of flavor. When we arrived at the restaurant it looked busy from the inside. We wanted to put our name down but the hostess said they were fully booked. We ended up walking around looking for other spots and from the back side/outside of the restaurant we could see at least 6 open tables. After a bit we walked back to the front and spoke to a different hostess who said we could sit at the bar. When we sat, a third person came over and said there was a table outside. Finally we got seated but it took a while for a server to come. He seemed a bit frazzled. Service was slow but maybe he was busy. The place is a little pricey. What an adorable restaurant on the water! I love the large windows overlooking the water, the exposed ceilings, and the open ambiance, it's a very relaxing vibe. We tried to sit at the large, horse shaped bar in the middle of the room for happy hour, but it was pretty crowded, so we sat at the sushi bar by the entrance. The waitress was super nice and very accommodating. She was so fantastic - she took my 4 star review to a 5 start. The happy hour menu was awesome (4pm-6pm)- we ordered Bluepoint oysters for $2 each, $6 deviled eggs ($6/each), and BBQ shrimp. They gave us some free crab hushpuppies with butter to start too. They had $7 wines by the glass and $8 cocktails. Our waitress was quick to bring over the drinks, and very attentive overall. Food was delicious, service was great, and they may have made the best whiskey sour, I ever had. The problem I have is with a gift card I won thru Instagram. I have posted a pic of my winning $150 gift card ,singular. I received three, $50 gift cards. We were a table of 4, my daughter, her boyfriend, myself, and my wife. So after we had and extra drink or two, a couple extra appetizers making the bill close to $300, and I handed them the gift cards, guess what, they only accepted one. Only explanation I can figure , is they want us to come back 3 times and spend more money at their restaurant. After my disappointment, they did throw us a few , free drink at the bar cards and a free cornbread appetizer card, which I gave to my daughter with one of the $50 gift cards I still had left. So my daughter and her boyfriend go back to the The Lucky Schuck last weekend, to celebrate their one year anniversary of their first date which was at the Lucky Schuck. Perfect I thought. Well not so fast, the drink gift card is not good during happy hour, which is when they sat at the bar. When they sat at a table they ordered the cornbread appetizer along with 2 entrees and a drink. When they gave them the $50 gift card and the free appetizer gift card , once again they only accepted one. Said, they can not combine multiple offers. Come on. Not cool.
