Triple Tail blackened w/mango salsa served on wild rice & broccoli rabe
    Te-see B.

Met a friend and his wife here for lunch. We were greeted by Lea the hostess and asked to sit outside so we could enjoy the view of the light house and marina. Ann Marie was our server and very friendly. We ordered the lobster artichoke dip with tortillas as an appetizer to share which came out right away...so good! For food: *Cobb salad with grilled chicken & chipotle lime vinaigrette - huge, fresh and delicious *Triple Tail blackened fish with wild rice, mango salsa & broccoli rabe - also excellent *Mahi sandwich grilled w/fries - delicious All servings are pretty big / we all had doggie bags when we left. *The inside is spacious with a bar in the middle. High ceilings. *Parking - valet or self park near by and walk over. ~ and that's all I have to say about that...

Everything was delicious. I had the blackened mahi mahi sandwich with a side salad. It was so fresh and so delicious. My husband had the burger with fries and loved his burger also. We are definitely returning.

Watered down, but free Espresso Martini

Happy Hour was great but I'm not sold on coming here for full price. Especially the drinks. I started with an Espresso Martini, which I didn't want to send back so I just mentioned how watered down it was when I finished it and the server gave to us for free, so that was cool. The food was good but portions were pretty small (except for the new sticky fingers shrimp, I feel like that was an adequate portion for $15 - and I didn't snap a pic). But overall, I would totally come back for happy hour, I would just stick to food and maybe and old fashioned or Aperol spritz. Definitely a great time though and the staff was 100%, so friendly and great with my kids!

Excellent service, great views and outstanding food. I call that a winner! That's what you get at the Lucky Shuck. My first time. My server recommended the Pecan Macadamia nut crusted Barrel fish. I said sure , the fish was grilled and served over Carolina stone-ground grits with lobster cognac sauce. The best fish dish I could honestly say get an order in and spoil yourself. That good! A Rich and creamy dish. A great choice. Fresh fish. My grandson got the Lobster Mac & Cheese and loved it. Said it was excellent. Creamy and loaded with Lobster. MP. My Granddaughter got the SOUTHERN CHOPPED COBB shaved romaine lettuce, bacon, egg, tomatoes, pepper jack cheese, charred peppers, avocado, roasted corn, fried tortillas, chipotle lime vinaigrette. She said it was excellent. A huge salad & Pretty dish. I Should have taken a picture . She cleaned the plate. She loves salads and said this one was a great one. The Steamed Clams were award winning. Prepared with andouille sausage, garlic confit, heirloom tomatoes, scallions, white wine, creole butter. I asked my grandson if it was salty and he said no, it tasted great. I had a dozen Raw Cape Cod oysters served fresh, and easy to eat. Top rated oysters. Excellent! The oysters slipped out of the shells like water dripping out of a glass. They trimmed the oysters well away from the shell. Easy eating! Great prep work. Nice job! Come on down and check them out. I'll be back for sure.

My favorite spot from our staycation in Jupiter was definitely Lucky Shuck. I honestly can't decide what was better, our bartender Val or the food. Everything hit the mark from the drinks to every course we ordered. We started with the smoked chicken wings, and they were so good I already know I need to order them again next time. Then we split the ribs with homemade kettle chips, which were absolutely delicious. We finished with a light tiramisu cheesecake that was the perfect ending to the meal. Between the amazing food, great drinks, and Val's awesome service, this is definitely a must visit whenever you're in Jupiter.

View of the lighthouse just as the storm was rolling in!

Met a long time friend in Jupiter for lunch. We decided on Lucky Shuck for its location and views. We sat outside, on a very hot day. The fans were wonderful, and the breeze was apparent on the water side. A storm rolled in and the screens rolled down so we were able to continue enjoying the fish tacos (amazing) and the blueberry cake either ice cream (OMG!)...without getting wet...waitstaff fabulous! It was a perfect place to meet up!

We got seated fairly quickly since it was only a party if 2 which was nice The food here is always good- although the prices could be cheaper for what the food is- I feel like they try to present it as something fancy when it simply is seafood- I think the prices only reflect on the ambiance inside, there is better places to go if you want this kind of food and don't want to spend a arm and a leg- that's just my honest opinion but if you want the vibe and that's your thing go for it! The gumbo was great! And I think the shrimp were cooked perfectly And mahi was so-so it needed more flavor somewhere- the salsa was good but they only give you the tiniest amount- I think the plate looked sad and I didn't like how all of my food was just stacked on top of each other the plate looked empty THE RICE- was undercooked and had hard pieces in it- I got rice in the gumbo and on my plate that was really disappointing they were both like that - if you charge prices like that the food should be up to par.. the asparagus was cooked well and had a great flavor! The staff is always nice and on top of it! Hostess crew is always on top of it too!! It would be nice if they had lunch and dinner specials

Fancier dinner place great view of the inlet. No Dogs allowed. Went in for dinner, service was slow but food was really good. I had the poke bowl it had a lot of flavor- didn't care for the pineapple on it. My husband had the oysters- he said they were good but small.

This place is a must every single time I travel down to South Florida! From the welcoming staff to the delicious food and amazing views! This place is a perfect place! I try and eat something new each time! This visit I did the Mahi sandwich and hands down was the best I've ever had! We did the firecracker shrimp and they were so flavorful and spicy! And we also did the blackened wahoo over rice pilaf with their amazing tropical salsa! I always love coming back here!

Visited this area and was recommended to try this restaurant. So glad we did. The view is great, the weather was warm so we sat outside. The service was excellent. We ordered some apps, Grilled Oysters, Mexican street corn fritters, Ahi Tuna poke Tacos, Lobster Dy no mite. All delicious! Then we all chose the Catch of the day. Two Mahi Mahi, one snapper and one swordfish. The sauce had a little kick but delicious and tasty. Key lime pie and Tiramisu cheesecake was shared and delicious. Totally recommend this restaurant when you are in the area

Visiting Jupiter, FL, we decided to stop by Lucky Shuck for some oysters! They offer a variety of oysters from different states based on size and flavor profile, and we chose the Massachusetts oysters. They were incredibly fresh, a great size, and delicious. We ordered those to start as well as the Nawlins-Style "BBQ" Shrimp served with grilled bread, along with the mussels special in a white wine sauce. Both appetizers were packed with flavor and generously garnished. For entrees, we ordered the Broadway Burger with bacon, the Shrimp Po' Boy, and the fresh catch of the day (a blackened tripletail) and every dish was excellent. The fish was perfectly cooked, the po' boy was loaded with shrimp, and the burger was juicy and flavorful. On top of the great food, our waiter provided excellent service, patiently answering our questions and offering recommendations to help us decide. Overall, we loved our dining experience and would recommend Lucky Shuck to anyone visiting Jupiter!

One of the best meal I have had in years! I ordered the Mahi sandwich blackened and it was absolutely delicious. Their fries are insane! My husband had the poke bowl and said it was great The table ordered the oysters Dirty rice Poke tacos Benets It was freezing in there! I know it's unusually cold there right now but when I asked why it was so cold I was told "we do not have heat" It was a beautiful restaurant. Service was okay but the food was insane! Came here with my bf while we were visiting the area. The restaurant is really big and there were a lot of empty tables but we still had about an hour wait on a Saturday afternoon. When our table was ready our server was Angelica and she was great. She was attentive and helped us with recommendations on late night spots in the area to try. To drink I had the lychee lagoon (like a lychee martini) and it was delicious. To eat we ordered the deviled eggs, the half loaded Caesar salad, and then the tuna tacos and the salmon tacos. The food was good but not really great. Nothing stood out to us. Everything came out quickly though so that was nice.

Ask the Community - Lucky Shuck

What do they offer for happy hour?

It's very easy to look up on there website . Here's a link I just review my meal I don't work there .…

Do they have gluten free options?

You can get fish with rice

    Do they allow dogs?

There is a generous sized area in the rear of the restaurant with nice scenery.

Do you do free birthday meals?

They have great offers with their loyalty program. Lessings loyalty.

Really not taking reservations anymore? That seems counter intuitive but I am guessing it makes sense to someone. We were planning to go up there this weekend but now going to go somewhere where we can make a resy.

Correct, they are not taking reservations according to their website.

Is there inside seating if really hot!!?

Yes, a lot of seating for indoors. Make a reservation if possible

    Are dogs allowed outside?

I believe they're allowed outside, but not inside.

The Hungry Poet is back baby!! (I love being Yelp Elite…read more I've just been busy!) "The Salty Zebra blew me away, The Black Grouper entree made my entire day. The burger was seasoned and the patty was fat, But those home made desserts....whooo that's where it's at!" This meal/dining experience brought me to Yelp immediately. I was excited y'all! The Salty Zebra (picked it b/c of good reviews and proximity to Barnes and Noble in Tequesta) They cover the basics extremely well: greeted with kindness and professionalism, seated promptly, and approached immediately by a wonderful server. I won't spend time here just know you will not be disappointed with the service and it was beyond pleasant. Apps Burgundy Escargot (Pernod Garlic-Parsley Butter) We asked for a recommendation from the appetizer section of their menu (perfect amount of selections by the way...I despise an encyclopedic menu). We were thinking escargot and we were so pleased that it was recommended...that sealed the deal. It was garlicky and buttery and served with the perfect white bread. Spot on. Entrees were freaking fantastic! Florida Black Grouper (Creamed Kai Kai Farms Mustard Greens, Colab Farms Glazed Carrots, Carrot Marmalade) I never order grouper. I go out of my way to order it because I don't enjoy white fish usually. Something spoke to my spirit (plus our amazing server highly recommended it) and I went against my natural inclination. Lawd have mercy I'm glad I did. That grouper was perfectly seared, flaky, flavorful and completed excellently by the mustard greens and carrots. I do t know what the sauce was in the plate but it was savory a bit earthy in the best possible way with a twinge of sweetness that made me want to lick the plate ‍ (hey I'm from Mississippi...we do that ). Needless to say there wasn't a morsel of food left in my plate. Other reviews complained about small portions. I beg to differ it was a perfect portion, and I have a biiiiig appetite. (I am the hungry poet after all! I enjoy experiencing three full courses and not being miserably full by dessert.) Bistro Burger (1/2 LB CBS Blend, Gruyere, Sweet & Sour Onions, Au Poivre Sauce, Parmesan Potato Wedges) Boyfriend got the burger. It was great--I am well loved so I got the first bite lol Patty was thick and moist and seasoned! I was impressed that they didn't stay away from seasoning with this burger. We suspect it could have even been prepared sous vide then seared because of how evenly cooked it was. Our server was even kind enough to bring ketchup for the potato wedges. Dessert LET ME FIRST SAY: the second dessert (chef's special) was complementary. I don't know why? Good karma maybe? Speaking of the chef... Chef Michael was working that dining room. ‍ He walked by our table and asked if everything was okay. Not realizing he was the chef we asked for a little more bread to sop up the escargot butter. He brought the bread out a few minutes later himself and was super polite. He introduced himself and I was impressed that he was so personable. He stopped by two more times to check on our entrees and desserts. I love an involved chef. I have a couple friends who are Executive Chefs in pretty swanky places and I love to see that bar being met. Especially as a Yelp Elite reviewer. You know how most people can't wait to write reviews when they're pissed. I can't wait to write reviews when my socks are knocked off. Back to dessert... Chocolate banana I love banana desserts. Some might be biased but this dessert was oooooooh wee deliciously special. I don't have the description because I think desserts change weekly/daily etc but trust me... GET IT! If you like bananas chocolate and caramel get it! Homemade S'more When I said made in house I mean it! The marshmallow the graham cracker all of it! It was rich and decadent and it blew me away. I'll be thinking about these desserts for a while. And again I don't t know what we did to get a free one but Chef Michael brought both out himself and I felt the "we go the extra mile" vibe. It was crystal clear. Sounds like I'm using hyperbole but I swear I'm not. Decor and ambiance was beautiful. Wasn't loud at all. Hands down a perfect dinner experience. We had been walking in the hot sun all day after this impromptu trip to Stuart and even in leggings and a T-shirt we felt comfy and welcomed. Thanks another review giving it to you straight no chaser from The Hungry Poet aka Elizabeth S. aka Lizz . Enjoy!

Service felt flat the entire time. I specifically asked for very light ice in my drink and even said I didn't care if the glass wasn't full. The drink still came out packed with ice, and I had to ask for a separate cup and spoon to fix it myself--which shouldn't happen. What really stood out was the lack of attention. We were there for about 35 minutes, and not once did she come back to check on us--no "How is everything?" and no offer for another drink. Meanwhile, she spent more time in the back talking with a coworker than actually servicing her customers. There was also confusion when we asked for the check, which just added to the overall disorganization. What's disappointing is that this place used to have a much better vibe--staff like Denise made it feel welcoming and enjoyable. That's clearly changed. The new staff just doesn't bring the same level of service or personality. The food and location still have potential, but service makes or breaks a place--and right now, it's missing. Fortunately, the Square Grouper Tiki Bar was just a few steps away from where we boarded the boat. We split an order of coconut shrimp with sweet-and-sour sauce, along with a "Chubby Cuban" sandwich (I can relate ). The shrimp were perfectly cooked, and the Cuban was well made and satisfying. The fresh-hot fries were crispy and a perfect pairing with a tasty post-dive meal. To complete the recovery process, we washed it all down with a couple of ice-cold bottled beers while soaking up the laid-back waterfront atmosphere and some live music. Friendly service, good food, cold drinks, and an ideal location for divers, anglers, and anyone looking to enjoy a little slice of Jupiter. By the time we left, we were refreshed, recharged, and ready for our next adventure... A nap. Can't wait to come back!

We were served our coffee right away, and given an appropriate amount of time to look over the menu. We placed our order with a very nice young gentleman. We didn't have to wait to long for our meals to be delivered. Everything was hot, the eggs were cooked perfectly over medium. The bacon was cooked with the right amount of crispness. The pancakes were light and fluffy. The sausages were good as well. We were allowed enough time to start eating before our server checked on us and topped off our coffee's. We truly enjoyed our breakfast, and do plan on returning.

I ordered banana pecan short stack with bacon. The bacon came out very undercooked but Nicole took care of it and did bring out a new side for me. The pancakes tasted great, but they lacked something in my opinion. A topping of whip cream and strawberry's perhaps as an option. My wife ordered the Ham and Brie croissant sandwich with a side of potatoes and onions. There were two slivers of Brie on the sandwich but the ham was very good. The Potatoes and onions were her favorite part of the dish. Overall, the food was ok, service was excellent, but we are not likely to make the drive to come back. This was at one time one of our favorite breakfast spots.
