I will say that service was good and there a lot of menu options to choose from. Never had any used plates or empty drinks on the table. For appetizer, we ordered the Fra Diavolo Middle Neck Clams. There was something about it that we didn't love. The flavor just wasn't there, and the clams were not very big/good quality. For entrees, I ordered the Hanger Steak and my husband ordered the Black and Blue Burger. He said it was average, not a lot of black and blue to it. I actually really enjoyed my meal. The steak was perfectly cooked, the mashed potatoes were nice and creamy, and the veggies were good. Others ordered the swordfish specials, and overall got average ratings from them about their food. Ignorant and untrained server. Ordered nigiri sushi, each time I ordered a type of sushi I was asked if I want it with or without rice! I repeatedly informed server that sushi is with rice, sashimi without rice but she persisted each time, asking with or without rice! When sushi arrived all pieces were wet as though each piece was washed off with water changing the taste horribly and waterlogged. My wife and I joined a friend for dinner at Seminole Reef Grill. We had a reservation and were seated at our time. The restaurant is laid out well with a good size bar, raw bar and plenty of seating. The atmosphere was upbeat but fairly loud. The waitstaff came right over with water but after that struggled all night to keep up and was aware of that an apologized multiple times That said the food was good it's a fairly good sized menu with offerings in seafood, pasta and steaks. To cut to the chase the food was a 4, the atmosphere was a 4 and the service was a 3. I will still give it a 4 overall and we will go back. I ordered the flank steak and it was so tough that I couldn't cut it. Then they offered to bring me out a medium rare fillet, and it was rare. We had reservations, unfortunately that was it we were sat at a table that was too small even for 2 people, they did not have all that was on the menu, our server seemed clueless & the worst & saddest part of all was them trying us like we were 2 stupid people, my wife ordered the Crunchy Crusted Grouper Cornflakes crunchy crusted grouper served with a mango salsa, seasonal vegetables & your choice of side $52.00 She asked for its W/O the mango salsa they brought it out with the sauce on it, we told our server about the error, and he said they would make my wife a new dinner and sad to say they gave her all of the same food, they scraped off salsa and refried the fish which I could still taste the mango salsa & veggies were same, nothing hot or fresh and the saddest part of all was the manager had a lot of nerve bringing the same food to my wife and acting like it was freshly made & I know it takes at least 6 minutes to fry a piece of fish and she brought it back out in 2 minutes, I don't like be treated like we are some stupid people, I guess we were not white enough for them to provide us with an overall good experience. It's a nice place and it was unexpectedly packed for a random night. The outside space was very nice. Everything was generally great... but the service was nothing short of horrific. The table next to us sat down 10-15 minutes after us and they were practically on desserts before an iced tea and water showed up at our table. One day we sat down in bar area as it's late and dining area was closed so we ordered few items and all came out brown and crispy looking food maybe because of the old oil that made the food much darker than the normal fried food . Came home at that night and was vomiting all night with very greasy nasty stuff from my stomach. The next time we were there , I ordered scallop main dish and it was halfway cooked or it's bad quality . First I thought it's the ingredients that made it tasted weird - it tasted alcohol ( was it cooked with alcohol to disguise the bad quality ?) Then after I ate my order , I rushed to the side area of the restaurant building as it's the easiest way from sitting on outdoor area. I sat down there the whole time vomiting my entire stomach.Came back to our seat asking my spouse that we need to go home - I was that sick! The next day i decided to not stay quiet anymore so I called the manager of the restaurant and told what happened to me . The manager told me that no one else complained about their food and sounded like my story was not true so I said go check your cctv as you'll see how sick I was and how many times I vomited the entire time til my stomach was empty. Except sometimes it gets a little draggy when they're not busy. I had to send the bread pudding back because the top was mushy. It felt like it wasn't cooked all the way and bread pudding is my favorite dessert and I ordered it from here all the time so I know the difference between them getting it right and getting it wrong like they did last night. They give you a small bowl of edamame for the table to share ... while waiting for your food. It was a different sort of appetizer/amuse bouche. We went right to our entrees (saving room for dessert). Our friends had the grouper, grilled; and the potato and Parmesan crusted snapper. My husband had the triple tail, grilled, and I had the shrimp "your way" done sautéed with butter and capers. We all really enjoyed our individual meals. For dessert, we shared their key lime pie -- an authentic version -- and a fruit cobbler with ice cream.
