This was my second visit to Lucky Shuck, and the food was great! However, this time I went with colleagues for lunch and not dinner, and to my surprise the grouper sandwich and fries I ordered cost a whopping $42 and the Arnold Palmer mixed tea and lemonade cost $5 - OUCH And, to top it off, the snapper sandwich and fries my colleague ordered was $38 - another OUCH. Not even the Breaker's lunch sandwiches costs that amount. Something is not right here, and the nice waitress said when she brought the bill that we have to pay for the fish, regardless if it's an entrée or sandwich. We were in Jupiter for the first time for a triathlon race from Tampa. Someone who lives there told us that we had to go to the Lucky Shuck for lunch. Not only was the food amazing, we had excellent service. Victoria Egan was our waitress and from the beginning you could tell that she thoroughly enjoyed her job and made our experience extra special. It is rare to find someone that is so passionate about her job, but Victoria has it nailed! If you are ever in Jupiter, don't leave without a meal at the Lucky Shuck!! Super incredible!! Had an amazing view of the lighthouse by the window. We went for my father's birthday and wow everyone was so helpful and polite. All the food exceeded expectations with the lobster shrimp dynomite being the favorite of the table. Another great meal at Lucky Shuck. No longer take reservations for parties leas than 8 so plan accordingly. Dined outside with visitors from Calif. Oysters on the half shell were well received. They all had fish dishes - hubby had the snapper special and said it was piping hot and the best fish he's had from the restaurant. Unfortunately the muffaletta has been dropped from the menu. Since posting this review I was contacted by the restaurant who took my review very seriously and asked if they could speak to me. I received a call and we had a lengthy conversation. They were very appreciative of my input and apologized and said they were addressing the situation. Joel was the best bartender ever, he got super creative with my cocktails and tailored them to my liking. he was super personable and just amazing all around. also shout out to Kevin, he was hosting but kept checking in on us as he passed by. The drinks were good and the views are amazing. If you sit inside you can't hear the person you are with. It is very loud so if possible I recommend sitting outside. You overlook the lighthouse and can watch boats go by. The appetizers were OK. My jerk Mahi was very tasty. Would probably only go back with girlfriends to have a drink by the water. They have an upstairs lounge/bar area only problem I went with my boyfriends grandma and there is no option for an elevator it's only accessible from a staircase so we could not go up. read more

Lucky Shuck is a higher end seafood restaurant. Food is of excellent quality with several different "catch of the day" selections and a number of different oyster selections on the raw bar. Server was knowledgeable in explaining the different oyster selections and took time to explain menu options and make our dining experience a great one. First time for lunch yesterday, we sat at the bar as was so windy. Staff were fabulous very attentive, polite, and had smiles. Had a 7:30 reservation for an outside table for my wife's birthday. When we checked in we were told it would be upwards of an hour wait for a table outside, but we could be seated inside right away. Bummer #1. After we were seated inside, we waited about 10 minutes before the server came to the table Bummer #2. Ordered dinner and was looking for a refill on my cocktail but the server was missing in action, and was very hard to find. Bummer #3 Food finally showed up, the fish was overcooked and one of our sides was never put in. Bummer #4. I always start at 20% for a tip, and if the service is really good I'll go to 30%. I met a friend there for lunch and we both thought it was great! It has nice decor, the service was really good, and the food left nothing to be desired. I got the Hot Chicken sandwich, and she got grilled Mahi on a salad. I waited for her at the bar, and as someone posted, it can get a bit loud in there. For a Tuesday afternoon, they were pretty full, so we decided to eat outside. I will certainly be back. Too bad I moved from Jupiter just before they opened, but I'm only a half hour south now. read more
