The only point of feedback I'd have is to ensure that you know what you want done, as he will do exactly what he explains and what you discuss with him. If you are like me and far from an expert (or even knowledgeable) about your yard/sprinklers, ask him and he will very patiently diagnose and explain. Otherwise, if you simply point to *specific* issues, he will expertly take care of them to the exclusion of any more digging (no pun intended.) As an example, there was some collection of water around the base of a repaired sprinkler - he had done exactly what we discussed: replaced the sprinkler itself, but he had not worked on anything around it. Not his fault, and when I asked about it, he explained what the other issue(s) might be. Less scrupulous people probably would've taken the opportunity to upsell me. Even after the work was done, and his payment was in hand, I still found him in my front yard, ensuring that his work was done right and polished. How many people would've done that, instead of just driving off after being paid? I'll definitely be calling Brandon the next time I have any sprinkler issues.

The person who came to do the job for me appeared to have one key objective: do as little work as possible and leave as soon as possible. Specifics: (1) When I was checking the work after they were done, I pointed out 8 sprinklers that they simply did not touch and were not working at all. They were is a very obvious place. This made me wonder how much I should trust this work, (2) During the day, he asked me to confirm that he will be doing area A and B, and did not mention area C, which was part of the original plan. When I pointed it out, he agreed, and I then realized that he perceived some difficulty in this area and thus was hoping it did not exist! (3) He pushed back on doing minor polish things like removing an old drip line or pouring pebbles to cover the new one. He said this would take more time and I should schedule another appointment to do it. I was already doing an $1,800 job, with 4 hours of labor. Spending 2-3 more minutes on such a trivial polish would not have made a difference, but he pushed back anyways. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not recommend Dr Sprinkler.

Steve and his crew are regular people that treat others with kindness and respect not because they have to, but because that's who they are. They fixed a leaky pipe in my backyard without having to pull up my pavers and then they fixed a pipe in my front planter that solved low pressure on my drip lines. No fuss, no extra charges or unnecessary parts and labor. Steve's team obviously have deep knowledge and experience but what makes them so great is that they communicate clearly and are enjoyable to work with. Highly recommend them.

In the end, we came up with a plan that was viable and as aesthetically pleasing as could be managed given the situation. Once the job began, the primary person of contact shifted to Julio, one of their project managers. He was on property every day supervising and working alongside his crew. The crew was very polite, hard-working and friendly. They were very well supported by Julio. This may seem like a given, but often it is not so it did stand out to me. Once all of the work was done, Julio gave me a final walk-through, showing me how the various components function and made certain that I did not have any lingering questions. I think there were two follow up visits after the work was completed in order to accomplish this. There was no point along the way where I felt like they were taking shortcuts, using materials that were inferior quality, or anything of that nature. Their concrete cuts were incredible, and I have seen some really bad cuts in my past. But all of that wasn't even the best part of his work. When it came time to set up the Rachio, I originally thought "well i can just do this myself later." There were multiple leaks, improperly programmed settings, bad heads and misdirecdted spray patterns. I was only in town for a couple of days and Sebastian came out with his team on a Sunday morning the day of the Superbowl to get the job done. Super huge gratefulness and appreciation for being accomodating. First he assessed the system and gave us an estimate as to how much he thought it would be to fix all of the issues. His quote was withing $100 of what we expected. We approved the work and they got started. Four hours later, Sebastian was walking us around, station by station, advising us what they fixed. They touched 90% of all the heads we have on lur system. Everything was perfect. He also added waterng lines to two potted plants we have so that we no longer had to manually water. Sebastian also helped us reset our controller, get it connected to WiFi again and he timed out the stations so we don't over water and to help save money on the watering bill. From the start we felt that we could trust Sebastain to do a great job, and he came through. We are totally, absolutely and completely satisfied. If you want professional service and a fair price be sure to call Sebastain! He also stands behind his work.
