Lucky Star has been caught at least 2 times stealing food for your local grocery stores, the food that is supposed to go to "Kent Food Bank" to help those in need. They steal the food and re cook it and serve it for you! I know of a few people who have also got food poisoning from this location, and now I know why! There have also been credit/debit cards compromised. So not only are the stealing "expired" food and serving it to you, they are also stealing your money! Don't ever eat here and I hope they get shut down soon! read more

I always get sesame chicken in every Chinise, it's hard to find a good sesame chicken, but this one is pretty good, no complaints, a bit more spicy than it should be, but I'm not gonna complain about that. Will comeback to try other meals. read more

When I arrive, I tip the staff and graciously thank them for taking my last-minute order. After waiting for a bit, Steve, the owner, tells me that they messed up on one of the items on my order and would need to remake it, but they would provide me with the mistake at no cost. Next, he let me know that he provided me with free wontons, just because. The food, as always, was amazing, even the "mistake" meal, which allowed me to explore the menu a bit more. I love that they have steamed veggies as I like to enjoy any remaining teriyaki sauce with them. The California rolls were decent, not the best but not the worst either. The teriyaki sauce is pretty good, it is a great mix of sweet and savory. They are also very generous with rice as there was a bed of under my teriyaki and two scoops. My boyfriend enjoyed the katsu and the sauce that came with it was very delicious! The only issue we had was that the fried rice had no seasoning or color, I almost thought it was white rice with some veggies at first. Other than that, a solid teriyaki joint that seemed to have a good amount of people coming in to pick up orders for the most part.
