This restaurant is one of my favorite restaurants for Cantonese Chinese cuisine which is difficult in the seattle area. It never disappoints. Food is very tasty, large portions, and very reasonably priced. I am fortunate that it's not two close to home otherwise I would be eating here several times a week. Lol Reminds me of my Child hood meals cooked my Dad. Highly recommend!

Whenever we are down south we always end up at the Great Wall mall and find ourselves eating here at V Garden often! It's always so delicious and moderately packed but never a wait to get a table. They have the best comfort food, this time we got the ultimate comfort food combo which is beef chow fun and pork/preserved egg congee. The serving size is really good too so you can have this for multiple meals!

Our family came back here for lunch, and we ordered Mongolian Beef, Braised Beef Tripe and Tendon, and Seafood Chowmein. Everything tasted yummy, and the service was good for a weekday. The waitress promptly served us food and drinks.

I try the Beef Chow Fun today and it was good, but not as good as I had at somewhere else. The service was okay. I have remind the server to bring the tea and couple times.

A small and quaint restaurant inside of the Great Wall mall. My family and I enjoyed all the food we ordered to go. While we waited 15 minutes for our food, we walked around the mall and bought some treats. The server noticed we were waiting outside and brought the food over to us when it was done. We liked chicken w/black bean sauce, chicken w/string bean, salt and pepper pork and pea vines.

I wanted my usual egg noodle wonton soup at Hue Ky mi ghia next door and forgot they were closed on Tuesday!! Ugh Well leaving the mall I walked by V Garden for the hundredth time so I looked at their menu and decided to give their noodle soup a shot. It wasn't busy at lunch time and sat quickly. Pretty fast service but def felt like the only white guy around. Tea was included and the soup noodles were pretty good size. It was tasty with a lot of bol choy and a pretty good broth. Overall it was not near as tasty broth wise or goodies like charred garlic and Chinese celery and greens etc as the place next door and the price a bit more. I would only go this way here on a Tuesday. It looked like they have pretty good food in general and my review should be a bit closer to 4 stars but didn't cut it by comparison to my favorite. The server had expected to keep all my change so good tip for my one and only meal here.!

Finally tried this place and loved it! Every time I pass by V garden on my way to 99 Ranch I wonder if it's worth going. I stopped by and looked at menu and it has what I wanted Peking Duck, egg foo Yong and several other items. So I gathered few friends and tried. Ever since then I've been back regularly. I love the steamed fish. Lobster. Dungeons crab. Salted cooked chicken. Peking duck. Just to name a few. the menu selection is huge. Portion is awesome. They can get busy so I like to go in for lunch. Service is quick and the ladies are nice. Ingredients are fresh. What's not to like.

Really solid, classic, go-to spot for all the foods that I'm nostalgic for. There were a lot of families and grandparents at this place on a busy Friday night, which I took as a good sign. One dish that stood out was the salt and pepper squid - soft and not chewy at all, with a crispy light batter and flavorful seasoning. But all of our dishes were great! The tea could be improved (it tasted like some sort of instant brew). Prices were reasonable (on average, $18+ for most dishes, each family style) and we had plenty left over for the 2 of us. Will be coming back with a larger group to try more next time!

I stopped by for lunch with my mom today. The restaurant was busy but we thankfully didn't have to wait to be seated. The food was pretty good! We ordered the roast duck which was recommend to us by the waitress and it was honestly really good and fresh! We also ordered the garlic pea sprouts and a beef hofun. Overall I enjoyed the food and would come back if I had the chance!

The food here is still really good. I'm guessing their prices went up since the pandemic. Seems like the prices keep increasing as I've gone through so many versions of their menu with pricing changes over the past couple of years. Ordered three dishes and the total was almost $50. It's still worth it to me instead of driving to the International District. Peking Pork Chops - good flavor but portion size was on the smaller side and many fatty pieces that were inedible. Chicken w Black Bean Chow Fun - very solid dish and the portion size was perfect. Salty Fish and Chicken Fried Rice - this is one of my favorites! It is an acquired taste because of the salty fish, but if I'm being honest..I try to dig for the small chunks of fish in this dish. Good quality food, but not the best value. If you're willing to spend a little more for tasty Chinese food, give this place a try.

Not sure why I never heard of this place. Owner said they have been open for 3 years now. The food came out fast. We actually ordered too much we had it for three more meals at home. I think overall the food was good. Like I was telling the owner I normally drive to Canada to get Chinese food, or San Fran for dim sum. I'm pretty hard to please. But since I like to support local, I'll bring my friends here another time for lunch. The decor was minimal but nice. From the outside it looked like it was closed, and like it was a home or doctors office. It's right next to a bikini barista. So we missed it the first time. It's a brick building. The tea was really good. The perfect amount of Chinese leaves, and it was nice and hot for a cold blistery day even if it's almost spring.

Since then we have been going back fairly regularly. However, 2 days ago I went to pick up a few dishes to take home, i,e. We all know what General Zhao chicken and garlic egg plants taste like, but these came out totally sweet & sour and nothing else. I called the restaurant to complain about them. Instead of making them right, I was told they have a new chef now and that's the way they cook these dishes now, sweet & sour. Take it or leave it, I was told. No apology, no nothing. I rarely write bad reviews, but I think this is terrible attitude from a small local business. We will never go back again, and would not recommend any of our friends to go.
