So I'm not usually able to bowl competitively when I go bowling to these types of bowling alleys. But, I was actually surprised to learn that this Lucky Strike actually maintains their lanes daily. So I was able to bring my own bowling equipment and use it without having to worry about my bowling balls getting scuffs and nicks up from the lanes. After playing 2 games I inspected my balls and there was nothing I could find wrong. We were a pretty big party of about 15 people. We ordered some food: sliders, chili, fries, tater tots, onion rings, wraps, etc. the food was excellent. The service was perfect! We always had clean plates, drinks were always full, table was always clean everyone had a great time! I will definitely bowl here for social gatherings and for practice/fun and I can use my own bowling balls and not have to worry about any nicks or scuffs, gouges. Its been a while since we came here. We had reservations for 7:30 but the lane wasn't ready and we were told to come back in 15 mins. After coming back, our lane still wasn't ready. What's the point of making a reservation when your lane's not even gonna be ready on time. Yes, it was a Friday. The party before us wasn't even bowling anymore. They were just sitting around. I am actually quite surprised how clean and modern the lucky stripe at The orange block is. I have been here for shopping at the outlet a million times but have never gone into lucky strike. Out of randomness on a long weekend, we pop in just looking to spend sometime at bowlings. I am quite impressed by the facility, drinks and food. We got here about 15 min to 9pm. The staff was very nice to inform us that after 9 pm, there will be discounted rate for bowling at $3 / person /game. So we walked aroung at Nike for another 15 min , then return for the better rate. With the shoe rental and all. It only cost us $18 for two for the two games. I thought it was such a steal. The ambience was nice, dimmed with the neon lights and nice tuffed leather couches. I thought it is nicer then most bowling alley I have been to with a better lane rental rate. It was comfortable and service was great. Our server promptly asked for our drinks within 5-10 mins after settling ourselves down. Recommended the blackberries basil mule for a cocktail. And we later ordered the wings and waffles. The drinks was great and the food was decent. ( I do have very low expectations on food and drinks at bowling places. So I am surprised by it) although, drinks were not very strong but rated great for a easy bowling night. So we were happy. It was a easy check in and out, attentive service, and good ambience. Will definitely be back again when we are in the mood for bowling again. Tips: after 9 pm is 21 and over. We had a nice time at my husband's office party here this past weekend. It was great to have a room that contained the lanes for our group along with a separate eating area. Unfortunately, there were many times that our balls weren't immediately returned to us, but then all of a sudden a bunch of balls would roll on back. Also, there was a HUGE movie poster that depicted what looked like a man taking advantage of a woman that hung right next to our lane. Disturbing. Hopefully Lucky Strike will replace this poster soon. read more

I'm a former professional bowler and by that I mean I used to bowl every now and then but not professionally. I really had a blast with my girlfriend bowling and eating at your lanes. The ambiance is really nice and the food was really good. Jason the manager was killing it and Anysa was a bomb server, she was constantly checking up on us. Wow! What a fantastic place to bowl. I came here with my church's singles group to fellowship other members. Lucky Strike is located right next to Dave & Busters. The place has a full bar, dining area, pool tables, and of course bowling lanes. It's clean and spacious. The only issue I have with this location is it's located in a mall setting which means parking is a mess. You definitely have to fight for a parking spot. Other than parking, I think it's a great place for a casual night out with the family. I wouldn't recommend this place for a date night. The vibe is more of a group environment. We had a work event here few weeks ago. 2 hours of bowling. We ordered our drinks on our own from the bar which was fine. We were provided with a waitress but we didn't utilize her much, sorry. I coordinated this event with Mia who was always quick to respond to my many questions. We had such a fun time bowling, we even stayed after to play pool for 2 hours. Lucky Strike is a great bowling alley because it is a smaller venue. The only reason for the 4 star was because I felt a bit crowded on 2 lanes with 10 people, the couches really take up a lot of room when your trying to get pass someone to bowl. Came in here on a weekend, fairly early afternoon. We pretty much had a the whole place to ourselves. It looks like a nice place. The food is ok. Happy hour is ok. They have pool tables bowling lanes. A nice bar with sports on all the TVs. How ever. There was ZERO service. We sat at the table for TWENTY MINUTES before someone came by. We were literally getting up from the table to go next door to Dave and Busters. We decided to stay and try it any way. The food took forever to come out and it tasted very average. I was very disappointed. It was not busy at all. Literally only 3 people at the bar and no one else at the dining area with only a handful of people bowling. VERY VERY disappointed. No excuse for such poor service on a slow night. This is the only spot that I will bowl...I love it here! It's the hip place to be on a Saturday night. And it was seriously popp'n and the music was bump'n! Luckily I had set up bowling reservations a week prior, so no wait for us, but I heard stand-by was about an hour. Although there is lots to do, eat and see here at The Outlets of Orange (aka The Block). So in case you do end up waiting a while, you won't get bored. Now it ain't cheap here for either bowling, or billiards, but it's the best place for both in my opinion. There are a good amount of lanes, and there's a private bowling area at the front by the entrance for reserved birthdays and large corporate parties. The pool tables are very well kept, perfectly lit, and charged by the hour. There's also a full bar with a very nice lounge area that has big screens along the wall showing whatever games are playing. Aside from the modern decor and cool adult atmosphere, the best part about this place is that it's 21 & older after 9pm...love that! The food is also pretty good here. I love their fries, and the wings are good too. Their desserts are also a must. Trendy bowling alley that has a DJ booth, bar, pool tables and bar food. Food isn't that great and they ask you not to bring your own bowling balls. As far as the bowling itself, some of the buttons on the keyboards don't work and the lane itself isn't very slick. Something feels different but I don't know what it is compared to the local bowling alley. Nevertheless, people come here because they're not serious bowlers and they want something to do with drinks, food and music. Why are the nachos so good here? I was surprised how delicious the nachos were. My friend and I came here in a whim just to shoot some pool and grabbed a couple of beers and nachos while playing several rounds of pool. The atmosphere, varies if beer along with their nachos is great but what made me only give it 4 stars is the customer arrive. Majority of the servers were very attentive and friendly but if of the employees that was working at the station was really off putting and kinda rude. This is a great place to go watch a game of the UFC fights. We were looking for a place to go watch the UFC fight this last weekend because we didn't want to have to pay for it. This place lets you watch it for free. It can be difficult to get a good table if you don't go early though. We got there around 6 pm (the pay per view showing started at 7). By the time we got there, most of the good tables were taken, but we were still able to get a good booth in the front. There was no cover or anything and seating was completely open. The food was actually pretty good. We got the Asian style fried chicken wings. It tasted very similar to bww Asian zing if you've ever had that. It came with the extra sauce on the side and celery sticks for $12. We then got the roasted Brussels sprouts and cauliflower. The cauliflower was a little bit too soft, but was still very good. I think this was about $10. Then we got the garlic tiger shrimp. It was $15. However, I wouldn't call these tiger shrimp; they were not very big, but still decent sized. It was sautéed with artichoke hearts and pickled carrots and olives. Then we got the sweet potato tots. This was prob my second favorite on the menu. The drinks were also great. They have a great selection of beer and cocktails. They also have a full bar, so you can ask for any drink even if it's not on the menu. Service is not that great due to the fact that it's super busy during the time of the games/fight. I think it gets very hectic and makes it harder for the servers to check on you so often, but it isn't terrible. All in all, great place to go if you're looking for a good time and a good game to watch for free. read more

Walked in on a recent Friday night. Place was dead. The bouncer walked up to us and did his best impression of an East German Secret Police officer. He studied my drivers license as if it held a map to the lost city of Atlantis. Then came the main event of the evening. So, this Lucky Strike is located in an outlet mall. I.e. a place people shop. So, I had two shopping bags. He shone his light on the two shopping bags and said "I need to look inside your bags". I replied, incredulously, "Why"? He said, "To make sure you're not bringing in outside food or drinks". I told him that this was ridiculous. And it is. We're at a mall. People shop at malls. When they shop, they get merchandise put into bags. Maybe, just maybe, I could possibly understand if this was a stand alone building and people were randomly walking in with random bags. I draw the line at being interrogated and searched while trying to get in to a place where I plan to drop some money. This whole society is so paranoid it's becoming beyond comprehension. Nearly impossible to bowl with any precision or use the night as a time to practice. Was really looking forward to this place as it looked really fun; I really like how the place is laid out; you can play billiards or even have a drink at the bar. We came for bowling and when we checked in to get reservations, the girl that was there quoted us about an hour and we were totally okay with it. We had gone around the outlet and then after a little over an hour, we decided to get a time update. When we rechecked in with the girl, she told us they were still "finishing up" and that we would need to wait 15 minutes; we said okay, so we left to walk around a bit and then came back. She once again told us our lane was not ready and that we would have to wait another 15 minutes. After another 15 minutes, mind you we have been waiting over 30 minutes our original quoted time, and when we had checked in AGAIN, she was about to quote us another 15 minutes. It's really irritating that we have to keep prolonging our wait and each and every time she said "it's going to be another 15 minutes" she said it so nonchalantly. We were already upset and her manager? lead? supervisor? not sure who she was, but she stepped in and told us she could get us a lane asap. We waited another couple minutes for her to set up and we were taken care of right away. I'm not exactly sure what we were waiting for or what was taking so long, but not all the lanes were occupied and there were definitely staff members standing around doing nothing or walking back and forth with no intentions. Overall we paid over $100 for 4 people to bowl for 1.5 hours. It's not worth it, we are not coming back. read more
