I was invited here for the barking lot party. This place had it all. Plenty of vendors, food truck entertainment & Guardians of Florida Rescue. The also some very cool bikes and trikes! The Guardians of Florida provide many types of sweet and awesome dogs for adoption. It was great seeing dogs be given forever homes. The Hooter girls from Hooters Restaurant were very sweet and even helped out the rescue by walking dogs around and just being helpful. Hippie Dippie Florida was just one of the vendors providing homemade beef tallow products and had a real prairie dog named Poppy who was just the cutest. One other vendor that was fun was the Wiggle Bar Truck which is a mobile Pet Boutique which even provides doggie brew on tap. American sliders food truck was working hard to provide delicious food for all who were in attendance. There were so many other vendors too that had many cool things. The bikes and Trikes were in abundance. There is even a second level of motorcycles to check out. Everyone was so helpful and the event was so much fun! read more

I even scribbled a note and handed it to them: Please contact Kevin and provide a quote before any wrenches start turning. You know, just a friendly nudge to keep things transparent. Now, I get it--I'm not expecting an exact dollar figure down to the last cent. But ballpark estimates? Sure, those are fair game. Kevin had chatted with the folks at the shop on numerous occasions. Each chat was a polite request for a repair quote. No biggie, right? Fast-forward to yesterday. The shop calls. "Service done," they say. Cool. But when I ask the million-dollar question--how much?--the guy on the other end says he's staring at a computer screen that doesn't display the price. "I'll call you back," he promises. Today, we roll up to pick up the side-by-side. I'm all smiles, ready to settle the bill. But then, I decide to play my hand: "Hey, I've got a complaint." I explain how I'd tried to extract the mystical repair cost from their secret vault, but it was like pulling teeth. Nada. Zilch. They claimed they had written in their notes that they had given the price to my boyfriend, but that never happened. Even if they had given him a price (which they didn't), the guy should have given me the price yesterday when I asked. As I stepped up to the counter, there he was--the guy with an attitude, marinating in rudeness sauce since the moment I walked in. We locked eyes, and the air crackled with tension. Our discussion turned into a heated volley, all centered around one elusive thing: the cost. I maintained my courtesy, every word carefully chosen. But he? Oh, he had a snarky comeback for each of mine, like a master of verbal jujitsu. It was enough to make anyone boil. And then, the tipping point. He dropped the bomb: "You always have to get the last word in." Well, consider my inner calm shattered. Words flew--sharp, regrettable. Yes, I admit it--I called him a not-so-nice name. Not my finest moment and I apologize publicly for doing so. I went to the front counter and asked for the owner and told the guy what happened. The service guy emerges from behind the counter, decibels soaring. "Never come back to my shop!" he bellows. Well, message received. I won't darken their doorstep again. The lobby became a battleground. His voice escalated, echoing off the walls. Condescension dripped from his every syllable. My friends grabbed my arm and escorted me out. I shouldn't have been treated that way. No one should. But sometimes, even the most courteous souls reach their limits. Lesson learned: Rudeness begets rudeness, and I'll not be back. As for that guy? Well, he can keep his attitude. Lesson learned: I felt I had the right as a customer to request a quote PRIOR to the work being done. As for Haus of Trikes and Bikes? I was recently considering on buying a new motorcycle. I went to their website, was looking at the inventory. I did what they call a soft check for credit reference, which should not have been submitted to the credit reporting agencies only a soft check. The dealership took it upon themselves to run a hard check, which is completely unethical. I would highly recommend that before you do any business for these folks check their reviews. I waited a week to get my bike looked at. Not horrible as I had no appointment. I have a coolant leak and was told I need a new radiator. The shocker is they want $1300 for the repair and at least another week to order the part and install it. He said the part was over $800 and the rest is labor and tax. A quick search on ebay and I found a new radiator for $69.00 and free shipping. When I dropped the bike off I was asked if I minded using aftermarket parts. I said give me the option and we'll talk about it. I was never given the option. And I was charged $156 to look at it. Not a great first impression. read more

I bought a bike from these losers this past July on eBay, a 2017 Moto Guzzi V9 Bobber with just over 700 miles on it. I'm in Oregon so was obviously not going to just swing by to check it out. I paid $790 to ship it from Florida to Oregon. Issues? - They shipped the bike with the CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON. Without diagnosing or resolving it FIRST. They never disclosed this in their auction verbiage. Obviously I'd never had bought it. - They shipped the bike without disclosing PHYSICAL DAMAGE to the fuel tank, rear fender and right muffler. They compensated me just $200 for said damage after I complained. Big whoop. - I got the bike and took it to my closest Moto Guzzi dealer, 3.5 hrs away in Portland, OR. The bike was spewing FLAMES between the right header and the muffler after a short test ride. The bike is 100% stock. The dealer talked me into the first full service and diagnosis, $829.30. They claimed one of the lamda (O2) sensors was clogged, the plugs were fouled, and the valve clearances were tight. They supposedly fixed all that. I took it home, started it, and it ran about 60 seconds and then DIED. Restarted it, rode it 6 miles round trip to the store and back, and it ran like crap, sputtering and then dying when I got home. After I just spent nearly a grand for a full service. How would YOU feel? I drove 7 HOURS round trip back to drop the bike off and they called me back and then their tech reported back that he tested everything electronically and that it appears the WIRING HARNESS is crap and needs to be replaced. 800 MILES? I'll never buy an Italian bike again. I thought this crap was all fixed, especially after Piaggio Group bought Guzzi and Aprilia. Fix it again Tony all over again. I've just bought a used wiring harness off of eBay for $300+ and will have to spend an extra 5 hours of labor to replace it, to HOPEFULLY fix the problem. On a bike that has just over 800 miles on it. NICE. Thanks Haus of Trikes and Bikes! Thanks so much for NOT STANDING BEHIND THE BIKES YOU SELL! I emailed Haus of Trikes and Bikes about this issue and have gotten ZERO, NADA response! Surprise surprise! They obviously DO NOT stand behind the bikes they sell and should be avoided AT ALL COSTS! We rented a Harley roadster for our trip to Marco Island. The bike was great, customer service was excellent, they even rotated the handlebars to fit what I was used to. As far as Covid, no one had a mask on but the bathroom was spotless and they had great cleaning supplies for use. My one suggestion would be bring your own helmet! They had quite a few helmets that are included in the price of a rental but sizes and selection was very minimal. And said they could not provide any additional even though not one was my size. Rental was a bit on the expensive side but you pay for what you get. All in all a really great experience! read more

I brought in my own, brand new rear tire purchased from Dennis Kirk and asked Haus of Trikes & Bikes to install it on my simple cruiser. The motorcycle itself has no mods or complications that might hinder or delay what should be and has always been a simple, 20-minute swap. $142 to perform this task is egregious highway robbery. Superbikes and Skis just up the street has charged me much less than half to do this work for me in the past, but they couldn't fit me in that day so I tried Haus of Trikes & Bikes. While I waited for them to do the work I discussed the possibility of having them install a stereo system on my bike, but given the outrageous price for a simple tire-swap I'll never visit or give them my business again. Instead, I'll grudgingly accept the experience as an expensive lesson and use this and other opportunities to inform fellow bikers that they'll do well to steer clear of this opportunistic, price-gouging blemish on the industry. read more

The Haus Where Dreams Come True I wanted a Royal Enfield Classic 500 to drive from SoFlo to California along the I10, and this was the place that made it all happen in the beginning. I live in Hawaii, and contacted them over a period of several months to get my trip ready (which you can see on my Instagram @xukeanu). The kind folks at HOTB helped me find financing for the motorcycle, put on a few accessories, and even helped hold my extra gear (helmet, saddlebags, tools, waterbottles, etc.) before I got there. My Classic 500 is in Hawaii now (although these guys have been able to ship it to Hawaii in the past), and I keep in touch with these people just because I like them. I will absolutely never buy an Aprilia again due to Haus of Trikes service. Took my RS660 for 2nd year service and they brought it back with a fast clicking noise coming from the engine and a damaged hand grip that occurred during transport. Called to complain and they basically said the noise is typical of an Aprilia and as for as the hand grip goes they didn't offer to do anything with that at all. So basically according to them, Aprilia bikes sound this way on idle normally which according to my ear sounds like garbage and will definitely affect the resale. Even offered to sell the bike back to them at market value and they refused to touch it. Horrible service on their behalf, last Aprilia I ever buy. read more

I'd like to first of all start by saying, f*!k this place. My girlfriend has a sxs that she took here to take care of a warranty issue. They start off by taking 2 weeks longer than they originally told her because, well... they never told us why actually. Then, when we call for the 5th time, they clearly forgot about even doing it and had to back track what they said and it was just a mess. Finally got it back almost a month after, and another part needed warranty. Well, she asked the service manager if she should bring it in and get it replaced, or was it easy enough to take out herself. Well, more lies... he said "you'll have no problem! It's only 6 bolts!!" Yeah, ok. Ended up breaking parts because we didn't know how to do it, push pins are destroyed, and when we go to trade out the piece and get the new one, the service manager says "well, we got you a new one, so." This clown wants us to bring him our motorcycles too?!?!? Never will we ever go back, we will drive our sxs hours away before we come back. Thanks for literally NOTHING but lies and wasting our time. read more

Paul and Garret is BIGGEST LIAR ever i seen. we bought our 2013 Goldwing Trike March 2021 from Paul and when i bought i told him i think there is something wrong with engine because it had weird noise any way he lie to me and told me they fully check engine before they sell it . he said engine work perfectly (second day we bought reverse was not working Mute is not working well they fixed).March 2024 I stop by shop and meet Garret. i show my trike photo and miles i put on(3200 miles) ask him what it is worth?he said he can sell it for $27000 i said great.and i ask him to call me if he get DCT Goldwing Trike. me and my wife stop by to see trike and put deposit and went back next day saturday with our trike and have test drive with DCT Trike.After we had test drive .Garret was talking to us about engine noise and i told him that noise was there when i buy it Paul told me it is normal now you telling me it is not and offering to fix it for $5500. and now offering me $13000 for my trike.we clearly see his face turned red and he could not hide his lie he was rubbing his face .we said no to all offe. he said if we dont buy it by tuesday he will return our deposit. Monday he texted me and offer for my trike $19000 we said no. Tuesday he did not returned our deposit after a i had to go and ask for it .they are not honest terrible business LIARS. always trying to screw honest people. I have a Hannagan sidecar that had to be disassociate fit in my enclosed motorcycle trailer. The year before I had taken it to Lakeland to a repair shop that was advertised for sidecar repairs. BIG MISTAKE! They had screwed up the alignment so much that I had a bald sidecar tire in less than 1,000 miles. This time I went to an authorized Hannagan dealer and boy am I glad I did! They assembled it with perfect alignment. I'll never take my sidecar anywhere else! read more

I would give a 10 star review to HAUS OF TRIKES AND BIKES in Ft. Myers, FL. I had very recently been taken for an outrageous amount of mo li ey and lied to repeatedly by Bert's Bkack Idow, Port Charlotte, FL. BBWHD also refused to void the trade of the V-star bike I fully owned, despite the fact they could not modify the HD they conned me into buying (saying they could lower it 5" ....maybe they lowered it 1" then stuck it to me). I was devastated by the UNETHICAL business of BBWHD and now was left with no motorcycle. I stumbled across HAUS OF TRIKES AND BIKES of Ft. Myers,which is the best honest, helpful motorcycle business around! I had found a 2015 Yamaha V-star 650 custom on the HAUS website exactly like the one taken by BBWHD in the dishonest dealings with them. The V-star at HAUS actually had an upgraded Mustang seat and over 5000 fewer miles on it an the one I had. Paul, the salesman working with me, did exactly that. He worked WITH me no lies, no BS. I purchased the V-star and couldn't be happier, as riding is everything to me and being a small female, barely 4'11", HD cannot modify any of their bikes (if only they were honest with customers instead of determined to make a sale despite a riders safety!). Paul went way beyond to see to it that I could continue riding! ALL staff at HAUS are amazing! Polite, willing to do whatever is needed for customers, they make you feel like you matter. Christy (spelling may be wrong), Sherry (? Spelling) who does detailing, does a beautiful job! Parts (Brian is helping me get correct parts I want over time to make this bike the way I want it!). HAUS OF TRIKES AND BIKES is owned (but not micromanaged) by a kind gentleman from Germany-I definitely can't get his name right). All are beyond helpful & knowledgeable, above all, they're not out to rip people off. I need to add that Paul showed me a few stunning and National Award bikes winning he designed and built! I so hope he keeps utilizing his amazing talent! HAUS deals in all types of bikes and they will not con or feed lies to customers...they don't need to, these people are folks you WANT to deal with! Kudos to the family at HAUS OF TRIKES AND BIKES! Please, brother/sister riders, go to HAUS on Fowler Street, Ft. Myers, FL BEFORE you pay outrageous amounts of cash to the UNETHICAL HD dealerships. I want to let everyone know about the lemon they sold me and their horrible customer service. The best part is how they "fixed" my bike and returned it to me unrideable. Seemingly a great place, I bought the bike I had been looking for (Honda Rebel). Everyone was nice and welcoming. I had only ridden the bike 3 times, when I started it the 4th time, there was a clunking noise. Called them, always spoke with Andy, and he said they would take a look. I only had it for 2 weeks. I had to rent a truck to get it to them. Andy told me there were two parts that needed replacing and that they would "do right by me". Just to be fair, I did sign the contract As Is. As they kept mentioning to me later. 9 weeks, they kept my bike. 9 weeks. I had to be the one calling them for updates. They are great at false sincerity. I finally asked my fiance to step in because I felt a sense of gender discrimination. I wasn't getting answers and they started to get annoyed with my phone calls. After some short calls on our end, they finally said it was ready and they could deliver it to me. On my very first ride, that same day, the bike died on me twice while I was riding full speed on the road. The clunking was much worse. But when my fiance called, he was told by Andy, "that's just how they run". Garrett in sales told me they could maybe try and take the bike back, at a fraction of the cost and put that towards another bike. I won't buy another bike from them. But, again, the customer service...I've been waiting on Garrett and Andy to call me back for 12 days. I was completely taken advantage of, but lesson learned.
