Beaumont eh? I would never expect any Boba chain to be here but here it is. Service was okay, not friendly, but not bad. Lost points for closing 30 mins before they were supposed to... we were the last customers out and they turned others away. Thank goodness we didn't show up 10 mins later. Grrr. They didn't have dine in when we came here. The drinks they made were pretty good. Not the best but not the worst. If it wasn't in such a scarcely bobapopulated area (which is an overpopulated area but for boba, like Houston, Flushing, Manhattan, you get the idea), then it might get four stars, especially for closing early. But considering it's the only one for probably nearly a hundred miles in any direction, I definitely give it five stars. What to get: Lemon Black Tea With Tapioca! Or: All the fruit teas are pretty good, especially if you go off menu and get black tea! Or: Go crazy and order your fruit teas with the very strong Oolong! Or in winter: Any of the hot milk teas! Which milk teas are best: Honey Oolong! Oolong! Maybe Taro or Almond! I also love the regular milk tea with Oreo! Generally speaking, Kung Fu Tea scores 5, which is a huge compliment, considering that it's a massive international corporate chain, whose milk teas don't match up to the best chains: Sharetea, Gong Cha, Tea Top, and Coco. However, they're still really good, and the fruit teas here are among the best. Especially the lemon black tea which absolutely rocks my world. If it's not on the menu, demand it! Other fruit teas (Orange, Grapefruit, Pineapple) must also be ordered off-menu as Black Tea instead of the meh Green. Also the Lemon Black tastes good as a Lemon Oolong, but everyone else hates it because they have bad taste. The one annoying thing about the chain is the corporate office (they're sketchy) and their rule that no drink can have its tea altered. With the city of Beaumont (and Southeast Texas) slowly progressing towards Asian cultures, this brings a special place to my heart. Not long ago, there were times where Southeast Texas didn't have any reputable milk tea parlors. Albeit, Daboba did a below subpar job at marketing because no one in the community could have seen this coming. The interior is jaw-dropping. As seen in the pictures, it is very Japandi inspired with elements of bamboo styled wood and greenery spread throughout. I could definitely see myself studying here or hanging out with friends. I ordered the Roasted Brown Sugar Pearl Fresh Milk. Aesthetically, this display of the drink is phenomenal. The roasted foam, phenomenal. The drink itself, phenomenal. My only "complaint" was the chewiness of the pearls or boba balls. It didn't taste as fresh as I would have hoped like it had been over or undercooked. Nonetheless, some people may like that particular texture and consistency. I do foresee growing pains at the Daboba, as they are very new to the scene but am hopeful and excited to see what they have in store!

There was plenty of room and everything felt clean and organized! I decided to go with the classic Black Milk Tea with boba and everything tasted perfect to my tasting! Beaumont's local boba choices tend to either have no flavor or uncooked boba but the great thing is that KFT tends to be consistent. I'm glad they were able to bring this to Beaumont instead of driving all the way to mid-county, and I can see this being a popular spot for outings with friends! Plus they have board games in the back that you can play with. The nice thing also is that there is plenty of parking and have other stores nearby that you can stop by and visit. The bowl was huge so you are definitely getting a bang for your buck here and the broth was super flavorful and spicy. Out of all my friends who got noodle dishes mine was definitely the best. They also had the shredded red cabbage and lime on the side, and I requested a side of chili oil as well which I'd recommend to all my spice lovers.
