This was my first time having Firehouse Subs, I may come back to the local ones in Louisiana now if the customer service is as consistent across all their chains. From a food standpoint, again, good but not great or anything. But I'm giving this specific location in Port Arthur 5 stars for their A+ customer service. Also, a few staffers were cleaning the hell out of their machines and tables and kept apologizing for "being in the way" which was pretty funny seeing that as a customer, especially during this pandemic era, you want to see establishments taking great measures to keep their place clean. I believe it is their specialty. They are really consistent, made fresh, and soft in the inside. I have tried almost every single flavor and each one has been good. I have also tried their cà phê sữa đá (Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk) a few times, and personally it is not my favorite. It is very dark even with the condensed milk, and I feel like there is something missing. I have had better cà phê sữa đá and prefer the ones my aunt makes at home more. Overall, Golden Croissant is a cute place to grab a small lunch. I think it is one of my favorite places in this small town and has a lot to offer for a good price.
