We have been boarding our dog at Lucky's for about a year, and we can't say enough wonderful things about this place! Things we love about Lucky's: - It's a family owned business so the same people are around the dogs all the time. This is somewhat important for us since we have a Shiba who is a little anxious when he first meets people but warms up upon familiarity. When I first took him there, he ran the other way, but now the moment we arrive, he hops onto their laps. - Tom and Alla, the owners, are genuinely enthusiastic about the dogs and are such caring, nice people. - They post a copious amount of photos on their social media so we can see that our dog is having an awesome time playing while we're on vacation and not feel guilty. - They have individual kennels for sleeping. This is different from other facilities we've used (in LA and NYC) and is so helpful for our dog to get some downtime. All in all, we love Lucky's, and it's apparent our dog does too. We LOVE Lucky's Paw Playhouse. Our two dogs are alway so happy when we pull up and eager to jump out and get to playing! One of the reasons why I'd highly recommend Alla and Tom (the owners) is that they believe that the dogs should be outside and playing... for hours! So I know that my two dogs aren't locked up in a kennel with a short play time, they are living their best lives. An added bonus is that around the holidays they'll give the dogs special treats and bandanas ... Thanksgiving they literally got a special turkey meal and a cool bandana. The owner was so friendly, you can clearly see she loves dogs! she explained in detail the grooming service and did not keep my fur baby waiting all day! The facility was also very clean! Tom and Alla truly love animals and they have employed a staff that loves them as well. Our Tiger loves his visits to Lucky Paws. He is a senior rescue dog who doesn't really care to play. The Lucky Paws team know him so well and make him so comfortable. Lucky Paw's is the only boarding facility we will ever use. Oh and Tom give Tiger a bath regularly when this is far from Tiger's favorite activity. read more

Lucky Paw Playhouse is hands down the best investment I've made for my dog and I absolutely love this day care center! Tom & Alla have been my guardian dog angels these past 2 months and I can not thank them enough for all that they do for my dog, Ocean. I found Tom & Alla, at Lucky Paw Playhouse, about 2 months ago, in July, 2020. And I am so happy that I did because they have been so incredibly supportive and have helped me tremendously through this journey of being a new dog Mom. I had just adopted my dog, Ocean, from APA shelter in Austin, and was desperate to find help while I went back to work after the Covid-Quarantine. Ocean has major separation anxiety and crate PTSD so I could not leave him home alone while I was away at work. He had also just undergone his neuter surgery and was still wearing his cone, so many day care centers would not take him. Truly a blessing in disguise. When I found Tom & Alla, they welcomed Ocean into their care with open, loving arms! I can not tell you how much Ocean LOVES seeing them every day. He perks his head up as soon as we make the turn into their driveway, can't wait to jump out to play and happily wags his tail as he greets them at the door. When I pick him up after work, Ocean doesn't even want to leave! I'm so happy that he feels so comfortable with them. As a dog Mom, all I want is to find a loving, safe place for him to be and this is certainly it. Compared to a few other day care centers we have tried, where Ocean growls at me and resists getting out of the car. So, I definitely know he loves it Lucky Paw! In the past 2 months having Ocean consistently attend their day care, Mon - Fri, Ocean has gone from shy, timid and nervous, to confident, playful and happy! He gets to socialize with different dogs every day and has made best friends with their Boxer, Simba. I love knowing that Ocean gets to socialize and exercise during the day, so he is nice and tired when I take him home for the night. I also appreciate that they have a structured schedule for the dogs with playtime, nap time, eating time, outdoor time and indoor time. They have an amazing grass backyard with a shaded back porch and swimming pools for the dogs to cool off in the hot summer months. Ocean is a husky/ shepard and can not handle hot weather for too long, so Tom & Alla are very aware of when he needs to go back inside to the cool AC. Their indoor play area is huge with lots of room for the dogs to play and nap. Their private kennels are beautiful and spacious, with comfy beds, blankets and secure water bowls so the dogs can stay in a clean and tidy area when eating or sleeping. And most recently, Ocean just went through his heart worm injections and is in recovery for several weeks. Tom & Alla have been so attentive and aware of his needs while in their care, I am just blown away. They are able to administer medicine, unique diets, they give baths and also have a groomer on-site! I think the most special thing is that they send me pictures of Ocean throughout the day. They give me updates about how he's doing when I ask, have given me so much advice and are catering to his special needs without hesitation and with so much love. They truly do care for each of their clients as if they were their very own family members. It calms my heart knowing that I am able to drop my fur-baby off at a loving, kind, clean, professional day care where they will give him attention, snuggles and keep him safe throughout the day. We LOVE the groomer here. Our doggo has some grooming anxiety and after disclosing that to the groomer she called me multiple times to check in and let me know how he was doing. She told me she took him for a little walk so they could get to know each other beforehand. Such a sweetie. I'm so so thankful we found Lucky's! read more

These guys are terrific! We are so happy to have them in the neighborhood. We brought our 15-year-old dog who is blind and deaf in for grooming. They did an amazing job. She looks spectacular and was super happy to feel so fancy! Grooming older dogs can be tricky. They clearly had a lot of experience. They took their time with her and the outcome was fantastic. I also thought for the amount of work that they had to do the price was very affordable and a great value. I love the indoor play area for hot days or rainy days so I know my pups will still have a great time regardless of the weather! We ABSOLUTELY LOVE Lucky's! My pup is a rescue and was very timid around dogs and other people. Tom and Alla were so patient with me and answered all of my questions/concerns and they both were extra attentive and compassionate to Meadow's situation. The first few times I dropped her off, she was terrified to get out of the car. I would have to walk her inside through the building to the play yard then leave real fast so she wouldn't notice but that didn't last long at all! Meadow has been going to Lucky's for 5 months now. I can't even put her leash on when we arrive for drop off because she is jumping out of the car to go play! And when I pick her up in the evenings, I literally have to MAKE her leave! I trust Tom and Alla 110% to care, love and look after my pup! When she is at Lucky's, I know she is safe and happy. They treat her like she is one of their own! When she was sick and couldn't go to daycare they called and emailed me just to check on her!
